72 Not a fan of Edvard Munch. The depressive scenes he usually chooses, the faces that don't even rise to the level of caricature, and the colors that look like van Gogh on the brown acid: what is the appeal?

Having said that, this painting is effective. The girls is indistinct but recognizable. The colors are soft and reflect the look of moon light which is echoed in her night gown. all the elements combine to create a gentle, not necessarily peaceful, mood. It's listed as an oil painting but it looked like pastel to me.

120 Ours is not the only constipated political system. Keir Starmer is resigning, but his replacement won't take office until the end of the summer. I say: ""You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!".

Starmer said he would remain caretaker prime minister until Labour members choose a new leader in the coming weeks.

"I will ask the National Executive Committee of the Labour Party to set out a timetable with nominations opening on the 9th of July and completed by the summer recess. In the case of a contest, this will ensure a new leader is in place before Parliament returns in September. I will remain in post as prime minister until the contest is complete. And I will do everything I can to ensure an orderly handover of power," he said.

There is some truth in what you say, but he maintained extremely high levels of illegal immigration long after it was made very clear that the British people wanted it stopped. That is his real sin, along with the absolutely lunatic insistence on trying to prevent people from seeing or talking about the damage long after it was blindingly obvious.
