The Morning Report — 8/1/25

PreciousPelosi.jpg

Good morning kids. And welcome to August. The big story this morning is or at least should be, no not Sydney Sweeney's impressive décolletage nor even L'affaire" Epstein but the unshocking and unsurprising to you who are regular readers of this blog or otherwise aware of what's really going on, revelations by Tulsi Gabbard, Pam Bondi and Kash Patel of the verifiable plot to sabotage the campaign and then presidency of Donald Trump from 2016 right up until the present day by a cabal either led by or approved of by Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants involving some or all of the leadership of the American intelligence and law enfacement community that cooked up evidence via the so-called Steele Dossier that implicated Trump with Russian president Vladimir Putin to steal the 2016 election.

And now that Trump's team is exposing it and at least making the right noises about going after Brennan, Comey, Clapper et al, the traitorous rats are rearing up on their haunches and bearing their fangs while spouting the execrable hypocrisy that it is they that are being persecuted by Trump who is get this, politicizing and using the intelligence community as get this "Political footballs." It is to both laugh and vomit.

Discussing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard’s accusations of “treasonous conspiracy”, Brennan said, “So what they do is they misrepresent the facts, mischaracterize what is said, and then claim that we were engaged in this big conspiracy.” Brennan said, “It’s so unfortunate that partizan politics has now seeped into the highest levels of the intelligence community. And that’s why I think it’s important for us to continue to speak out, and trying to at least push out information about what actually did happen back in 2016 and what can continue to happen if we still ignore what the Russians do with our elections. ”

If there is a God in Heaven, surely John Brennan would be hanging from a noose for treason, until his eyeballs shot out of his commie pin-head like champagne corks. Real justice would be going back 40 odd years and finding every last individual at the CIA who cleared this hideous piece of shit and approved of his being hired in the first place. Dead or alive, they need to pay the piper for inflicting him on us.

You may recall that in the run-up to 2016, Hillary Clinton was known to have had what amounted to a server farm up at her home in Chappaqua where she stored thousands of classified files and documents during her tenure as Obama's secretary of state, no doubt in my mind that she, like Biden, was trading in state secrets with foreign governments including our rivals and enemies for cash.

According to the declassified files, Clinton personally approved a plan proposed by her foreign policy advisor, Julianne Smith, to “smear Donald Trump by magnifying the scandal tied to the intrusion by the Russian special services in the pre-election process to benefit the Republican candidate.” Smith was later appointed to serve as Ambassador to NATO under [so-called quote-unquote] President Joe Biden.

One stunning email written by Open Society Foundations Senior Vice President Leonard Bernardo, dated July 27, 2016, stated: “HRC [Hillary Clinton] approved Julia’s [sic] idea about Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections. That should distract people from her own missing email, especially if the affair goes to the Olympic level.”

You will recall that on the campaign trail, when no one could find, nor had any interest in finding 33,000 of her e-mails that had gone missing, candidate Donald Trump quipped to the press that, paraphrasing "Maybe the KGB will have better luck in finding the missing e-mails!" And as Rush Limbaugh of blessed memory noted, that one obvious joke was transmogrified by the Democrats and their propaganda media allies as proof positive that Trump was colluding with Putin to steal the 2016 election. And the rest is a nightmare of history the echoes of which we are dealing with this very day, and will likely be dealing with well into the future.

As I fear, and judging from the top to bottom corruption that began long before Brennan, because Brennan's Comey's Clapper's and all the other co-conspirators' careers could only have been launched because of corrupt individuals that preceded them by years or even decades. And also because of the understandable fear of the political and even personal consequences of trying to prosecute these traitors, especially Clinton and even Obama, They will all go unpunished for sure if they are even prosecuted in the first place.

Sadly this incident and the traitorous evil manifests itself elsewhere, as this next waking nightmare of a story illustrates:

The group responsible for training Massachusetts police officers listed a prominent parental rights group alongside Antifa and neo-Nazis on its list of “hate groups.”

The Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee, which trains more than 20,000 police officers across the commonwealth, listed Moms for Liberty under “Hate Groups” active in Massachusetts in training materials, which were shared exclusively with The Daily Wire.

The bitterly ironic thing as you might have noted is that ANTIFA are the neo-Nazis! Frankly, I'm rather shocked they are listed as a so-called "hate group" considering they are supposedly "anti-fascist" (regardless of the actual real-world definition of that term). Of course the alleged watchdog organizations themselves like the ACLU and SPLC are themselves the tip of the spear as it were as politicized entities used to suppress, slime and smear anyone or anything that poses a threat to the Anti-American globalists/leftist counter revolution.

Yet again for the umpteenth time, Trump's own observation rings true at a volume that could shatter glass: "They're not after me, the truth is, they're after you! I'm just standing in their way."

And to underscore all of the above:

This May 16, 2016 quote from Nancy Pelosi has haunted me: “Donald Trump is not going to be President of the United States. Take it to the bank, I guarantee it.”

Not only about that election but fast forward four years. What did she know about the events of January 6th 2021 and when did she know it?! The same FBI/DoJ and CIA that engineered Russian collusion had a slew of agents provocateur in the crowds that came to peacefully protest the Democrat-rigged-and-stolen 2020 election, on and around Capitol Hill as Congress met to certify or not the Electoral College results. Pelosi, as Speaker of the House was in charge of the Capitol PD and days before denied President Trump's request to call out the National Guard to help beef up security. In the event, as we all know two unarmed women Ashli Babbitt and Roseanne Boyland lost their lives at the hands of a Capitol PD officer and other security forces that Pelosi commanded directly or indirectly.

What she knew in 2016 directly leads to what happened that horrible day in 2021, the blood libel and mythologies still percolating in the minds of the political class as well as the brainwashed pea-brains of leftists. And as Donald Trump continues to bamboozle and steamroll the leftists and advance his and OUR agenda forward, the Left reacts with both hack-in-black judicial decrees and molotov cocktails.

That is why Brennan et al must at the barest of bare minimums be totally exposed if, as I fear, they are to go unpunished, at least in this life.

And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

4 Morning Horde

Yesterday on the way to the gym I put on my local talk radio since it was raining and I could have the windows down blasting my music.

Howie Carr was on, and while I can only take him for limited periods of time, the broadcast news at the top and bottom of the hour breathless reported... 2.6% inflation numbers and shaky economic data that "plunged" the markets. I looked and the DOW closed down something like 33 points yesterday - not even a drop worth mentioning.

But the news readers were breathlessly announcing this supposed terrible economic data like it was the most exciting thing they've ever read off of the sheet.

It sickened me and put me in a foul mood.

14 Trump Accounts: 'The backdoor for privatizing Social Security'

Now what we need, and I say this as someone on the door of social security eligibility, is to start lowering the taxes on younger workers (perhaps a one to one reduction for every dollar they put into one of these accounts) and reducing the payout for older people with high social security payments.

Everyone has to give up a bit, no one has to carry the whole burden. Kill the creature.

15 My small(?) city is doing a mini NYC move. The city worked with Goodwill Industries to renovate an old strip mall with a number of do-gooder entities. After complaining for years about the “food desert”, there is a Goodwill grocery store. I visited and found that they do have a good section of fresh fruits and vegetables. I then visited the “Food King” directly across the street and bought a few cans of vegetables. They don’t have any fresh vegetables, but I wonder what the little glass pipes in the display case are used for? Guess who pays taxes and who doesn’t. Oh, and there is a Family Dollar two doors down from the Goodwill store.

35 PM Carney's statement:
Prospects for a two-state solution have been steadily and gravely eroded, including by:
The pervasive threat of Hamas terrorism to Israel and its people, culminating in the heinous terrorist attack of October 7, 2023, and Hamas' longstanding violent rejection of Israel's right to exist and a two-state solution. [...]

This intention is predicated on the Palestinian Authority's commitment to much-needed reforms, including the commitments by Palestinian Authority President Abbas to fundamentally reform its governance, to hold general elections in 2026 in which Hamas can play no part, and to demilitarize the Palestinian state. Canada will increase its efforts in supporting strong, democratic governance in Palestine and the contributions of its people to a more peaceful and hopeful future.

Posted by: andycanuck at August 01, 2025 07:52 AM (2yoRf)

36 We reiterate that Hamas must immediately release all hostages taken in the horrific terrorist attack of October 7; that Hamas must disarm; and that Hamas must play no role in the future governance of Palestine. Canada will always steadfastly support Israel's existence as an independent state in the Middle East living in peace and security. Any path to lasting peace for Israel also requires a viable and stable Palestinian state, and one that recognizes Israel's inalienable right to security and peace.

Canada has already committed over $340 million in humanitarian aid to address the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, including $30 million in new funding to help address the needs of Palestinian civilians and $10 million to support the Palestinian Authority's role in stabilizing and governing the West Bank.

61 I had a strange situation before the Clintons came on the scene, in the .mil, at a party in the barracks.

The conversation eventually turned to politics, and this E4 from Arkansas natch started talking about this guy named Bill Clinton. Who??

BREAKING: Trump raises tariffs on Canada from 25% up to 35%

Max Proulx
Canada is USA's largest single customer. No rhyme or reason for this.

Logan, M.D.
They're the US' largest customer due to proximity. They literally have no other option and talked themselves right into these tariffs.

If they even attempted to buy the same goods elsewhere they'd be paying upwards of 30%+ just to get the products to Canada. Good luck, clowns.

Max Proulx
Your neighbours must love you… why not have a mutually beneficial trade relationship. Canada has 10x less people how do you want them to buy for more that the US?

Logan, M.D.
>Canada has 10x less people
Which means you clearly have no leverage so there was never a reason to pretend you did. Stupid on your/ Canada's part and now you're paying the price.
>mutually beneficial
We have no obligation to beneficial anything, you're just on the losing end.

Logan, M.D.
Canada wont even commit troops to fight in our conflicts. They're borderline as bad as Israel. Puff out your chest with no real power then bitch and whine when you lose.

The F.B.I. had done their job, the State Department had extensive dossiers on security and loyalty checks as well. Voluminous data. Then as now, it doesn’t mean anything, if the people in charge hand waive it away and fail to do their jobs.

Truman had all the State Department files sent to the White House and wouldn’t let Congress see them. Eisenhower wasn’t much better, and rolled with the existing press narratives in public statements.

They turned everything around - instead of investigating allegations of wrongdoing, they investigated and smeared the Whistleblowers. Military careers were ruined as well.

I used to carry bare bones insurance with a catastrophic rider when I was less than 29 and didn't need much but did lots of things I could get hurt doing, snowboarding etc. it was quite reasonable in price. Was killed on day 1 of Obamacare. As for the current senior issue, you would have to do it in like a taper sunset method. And you wouldn't even have to change anything as of yet other than to offer private as an option. Then maybe offer catastrophic plus private as another option. There are ways to ease the burden. You just have to give people choices.

239 Trump Just Released His Plan to Revoke Birthright Citizenship. It's Worse Than Imagined. ...the Supreme Court expressly permitted the government to begin “developing and issuing public guidance about the executive’s plans to implement” Trump’s order. Acting on that decision, an immigration agency released the first stage of its “implementation plan” last Friday. It shocks the conscience.

There is no indication that the government will provide some grace period before snatching up and imprisoning this new underclass of noncitizen babies; they are apparently subject to arrest from the moment of birth.

Just read the EO. With a reasonable SCOTUS, it would never stand up. But now - who the fuck knows?

I hope they will see now nonsensical Trump's argument is. If the parents aren't subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, I'm now sure how we have any authority over them (for criminal matters, for example).

how would the SC permit such a massive change without any congressional approval? I didn’t realize this much power would exist solely with the executive branch, overturning decades of interpretation of the fourteenth amendment.

270 >>Still wondering why the feared Durham uncovered all the dirt he did and then let it be covered up.

I think there is a big misunderstanding of what exactly a Special Counsel is and can do.

Unlike and Independent Counsel, which no longer exists, a Special Counsel operates just like an ordinary US Attorney only with a specific case instead of a region. It must be a person that was previously confirmed by the Senate, like Mueller and Durham were and not just a private citizen which is why Jack Smith was eventually tossed.

They report to the AG and Deputy AG. In the case of Durham when his report came out that was Garland and Lisa Monaco. They get the final say in what will be released to Congress and the public not the Special Counsel.

If you don't remember go look at the shit fit Democrats threw when Barr censored parts of Mueller's report. Same thing, for different reasons, likely happened here. Last night Paul Sperry claimed he had multiple sources claiming it was Monaco who censored Durham's report.

The 20th Century in the West was all about BIG this and BIG that. BIG government, BIG corporations, BIG labor unions, BIG media, etc to the detriment of individuals. It is fully time for that particular fascination of the elites for centralization to be destroyed by brute reality.

280 Ironic how Pediatric gender clinics choose cutesy names that present the image of transitioning as a journey or adventure.

CHCO's TRUE Center (Trust, Respect, Understand, and finally Emerge)

Now we have U Wisconsin's Pediatric and Adolescent Transgender Health (PATH) clinic.

Note the similarity to the name of the radical international group touted by former Ass't Sec'y oof HHS Dr. Richard Levine → WPATH. The World Professional Association for Transgender Health.

Leading children down a primrose PATH where a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. That step is the initial validation of the child's delusion and social transitioning. And the path leads to a life of misery.

346 Well the market condition certainly isn’t good. I don’t give Biden a pass. I’m not giving Trump one. The jobs report is bad. Even worse is the downward revisions for the last two months. Combined with the tariff situation right now it’s the perfect storm. If it continues we will get a rate cut. Too late to really help. The only positive is once we settle the tariffs the longer range situation has good potential. Maybe some good buying opportunities today but I suspect your gonna need to hold for awhile to make your gains.

Unsaid, in my mind, "... if we hang tough, keep up the distractions, and wait them out once more."

They've come from all sides to radically change our political landscape. For instance, VP Biden hanging at Penn State University where the Prof. Michael Mann, a climatologist and professor of atmospheric science, was for many years. (Professor Michael Mann sued Mark Steyn and others for defamation in 2012. Mann is now at U of P, following Biden.)

NBC News, 9 Nov. 2020, 'Environmentalists say Biden's win was 'crucial' for climate progress. Now what?' If Republicans keep control of the Senate, there may be challenges ahead as Biden tries to turn his plans into action.

Also, university divestment campaigns targeting oil and gas companies emerged in the early 2010s when students at Swarthmore College (PA) are credited with launching the first fossil fuel divestment campaign.

350 Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants has a nice ring to it!

Now and then I wonder what he is doing now. If Jill has a pretend Oval Office set up in his wing of the house. Where he pretends to work. This involves him shuffling papers around a desk, which is really a cheap card table from Walmart. The papers are blank, as is most of his cerebral cortex. Sometimes he uses his crayons to sign his name, and wonders where that auto pen went.

Then one of his handlers takes him to the potty, at certain hours on the dot. Pudding or ice cream time, then a nap.
