My friends' cats Snowflake and Trumpy were supposed to go to their new home today but the lady backed out and my friends are going to keep them.
They came into my house around 11am and I put them out at 5pm. They pretty much just slept all afternoon. They are outdoor cats so I will buy Advantage for them Wednesday. But yeah, we're kind of sharing the cats, which I'm good with. They are very beautiful and sweet. Posted by: Stateless...54% - mental state clawing up from 10% at March 10, 2025 07:59 PM (jvJvP) 17

Actor Simon Fisher-Becker, known for ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Doctor Who,’ dead at 63
Simon Fisher-Becker, a British character actor who had roles in notable projects like “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and “Doctor Who,” has died. He was 63. Fisher-Becker’s husband Tony Dugdale said in a post on Facebook that he died Sunday. Dugdale did not disclose any additional details about his cause of death. ... Fisher-Baker’s first Hollywood credit came in the 1990s through a series of single-episode TV appearances on shows including “Hale and Pace” and “One Foot in the Grave.” Arguably one of his most high profile roles was in the first installment of the Harry Potter franchise, playing a ghost that haunts the halls of Howarts. It's been reported on constantly on X for months. So much of what we know about the Russia hoax, the China virus, the Ukraine phone call and on and on was broken on X. That kiteboarder getting lofted out of control is flying an old-style kite, the kind which is shaped like a horseshoe. The video is probably ten years old or more. I forget what the old kites are called, but they got phased out because if you catch a big updraft you might be SOL like that guy.
The more modern kites are shaped more like a flat wing, and you can "dump" the air out of them so they won't fly out of control. Posted by: Bombadil at March 10, 2025 08:29 PM (MX0bI) 83

AZ Intel @AZ_Intel_ 46m "The FBI arrested a Texas man for allegedly beating one passenger, attempting to strike another, injuring a second passenger and vulgarly berating a flight attendant aboard an American Airlines flight from Wichita to Washington Reagan National Airport earlier this month, CBS News has learned. It occurred five weeks to the day after the crash of an American Airlines flight on the same route." Asterius Rulamka was sitting in the 14th row of the aircraft when he allegedly got up just before the flight was landing on the night of March 5, approached a flight attendant and threatened "to f--- him up upon landing," according to an FBI affidavit reviewed by CBS News. What's the difference between social media and this place? Serious question because I really don't know. I don't post on X because I have no interest and nobody cares what I think but I have an account because I can follow people who post things I am interested in. And it's free. Posted by: Soothsayer Beaver pelts are what started it... IIRC You could trade a stick of beaver pelts as high as the gun for the gun... But if it doesn't have "a thing that goes up" to the shoulder it is a pistol.
But you can't convert a rifle into a pistol by removing the stock. Which is how the whole SBR thing came about in the first place. Congress originally wanted to include all handguns in NFA '34 but realized that to do that, they also had to ban SBRs. Then the handgun part got taken out but the SBR part stayed.
