As Biden's Illegitimate Term Ended, He Started Throwing "Gold Bars Off the Titanic" to Make Sure He Funded All of His Corrupt Democrat Cronies.
Update: He Gave $2 Billion to a Group Fronted by Stacy Abrams

stacyabramsemperorofearth.jpg

If Trump accomplishes nothing else, if he manages to end the Obama-Biden (and older) grift of Democrats stealing taxpayer money to fund Democrat political psyops organizations, he will be the most consequential president since the Civil War.

By the way, we already read about this organization. It was the group that was founded just in time to accept two billion from Biden, despite having previous revenues of only one hundred dollars.

What we didn't know was that it was a Stacy Abrams grift.

DOGE discovered $2 billion in taxpayer funds set aside for a fledgling nonprofit linked to perennial Georgia Democratic candidate Stacey Abrams.

The Environmental Protection Agency under the Biden administration awarded Power Forward Communities the grant in April 2024 as part of the agency's Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund program. Power Forward Communities received the green energy grant despite the fact that it was founded months earlier in late 2023 and never managed anywhere near the grant's dollar figure--it reported just $100 in total revenue during its first three months in operation, according to its latest tax filings.

Power Forward Communities' grant was one of just eight Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund grants that the EPA doled out in April 2024 and that, altogether, totaled $20 billion. EPA administrator Lee Zeldin announced on Feb. 13 that his staff and Department of Government Efficiency officials discovered that the Biden administration parked that same $20 billion at an outside financial institution before leaving office, limiting the federal government's oversight of the program.

The revelation that Power Forward Communities is among the beneficiaries of the funds Zeldin's team located raises ethics questions about how the Biden administration selected recipients of such massive grants and whether it played favorites when doling those grants out. Abrams was a vocal proponent of the Biden administration's green energy agenda and campaigned for former vice president Kamala Harris.

It doesn't just raise questions, it answers them.

...

Power Forward Communities and Abrams did not respond to requests for comment.

Um, the moment you took $2 billion in taxpayer funding you gave up your right to refuse comment, Obese Grifter Whore.

Power Forward Communities was established in October 2023 as a coalition of groups led by Rewiring America, a left-wing group that advocates for electrification policies and a transition away from fossil fuel dependence. Abrams, who serves as Rewiring America's senior counsel, said at the time that she was "thrilled" to be part of the Power Forward Communities coalition.

Yeah I'll bet you were thrilled.

Oh, remember when the media told you Biden wasn't scheming to get rid of gas stoves?

He funded this grifter group to get rid of gas stoves.

According to its website, Power Forward Communities is the first nationwide program to finance home energy efficiency upgrades at scale. The group states that its mission is to assist homeowners, developers, and renters with home upgrades replacing gas-powered appliances like a traditional stovetop with electric appliances like an induction stovetop.

In its only press release to date, Power Forward Communities said that, in addition to induction stoves, it would use the $2 billion received from the EPA to help install heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, solar panels, home battery systems, EV chargers, and weatherization upgrades.

"For an organization that has no experience in this, that was literally just established, and had $100 in the bank to receive a $2 billion grant--it doesn't just fly in the face of common sense, it's out and out fraud," Daniel Turner, the executive director of energy advocacy group Power the Future, alleged in an interview with the Free Beacon.

Ben Domenech pointed out that this group was given $2 billion to "install solar panels and heat pumps," despite a history of literally never having installed a single solar panel or heat pump, ever.

Other groups making up this coalition were also, get this, founded by Abrams.

Power Forward Communities lists a large number of partners on its website that it works with to implement its mission. Among its partners are the Southern Economic Advancement Project and Fair Count, two left-wing nonprofits founded by Abrams in the wake of her 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election defeat.

How many different ways do you think she's dipping her fat beak?

Another part of the coalition is funded by George Soros. And its partners include American Federation of Teachers!

And they seem to have taken that $2 billion and put it straight into the purpose it was always designed for: Running ads for the Democrat Party paid for by the taxpayers they rob and rape.

American Federation of Teachers president Randi Weingarten and Abrams both serve on the national advisory board for Climate Power, which helped launch a $55 million advertising campaign in September in support of Kamala Harris's presidential campaign.

Happy Thursday. We're almost there!

Update: I forgot -- Biden sent $2 billion to an election-denying insurrectionist.

Update: Stacy Abrams realized this was coming because just two days ago she decided to start complaining about DOGE ending crony embezzlement operations.

Phagocytosis. The word you're looking for is phagocytosis.

When an amoeba engulfs food, it uses a process called phagocytosis where it extends its pseudopodia (finger-like projections) to surround and enclose the food particle, effectively "swallowing" it into a food vacuole within the cell.

That $2 billion represents the lifetime contributions of 3,600 average American taxpayers.

$2 billion just being cast off like it's nothing is like gathering nearly 4000 Americans and telling them that their entire tax burden of their entire lives was just lost and it doesn't matter where it went because who cares?

Europe disdained US Republicans for years, now euro-elites are in a frenzy
https://is.gd/Y1xaMe

Even now, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain – four of the largest EU economies – don’t spend the minimum 2 per cent of GDP on defence that has long been NATO’s goal or struggle barely to meet it.

Europe could have guarded against Trump’s wrath by building freer trade relations with United States during the Biden Administration. Instead, they ratcheted up regulations on American high-tech firms and maintained their barriers to American agriculture.

Europe now knows where it stands. If it wants a relationship with America, it must have a relationship with all of America, not just the half that it prefers to invite to cocktail parties.

If it wants a seat at the table to form a united front with the United States even in its backyard, it needs to develop the hard military power that commands respect.

If it wants respect from Washington, it must show respect to Alabama, Kansas, and the places in flyover country that elect Republicans. (cont)

But then that’s their choice, not Trump’s. And they will then need to sleep in the bed they have made.

Sure that was bad -- but in retrospect, it was MINISCULE compared to what the Democrats have been doing EVERY DAY FOR DECADES, outright stealing billions -- nay, TRILLIONS -- of dollars directly from taxpayers, rather than merely getting small-time bribes from outside companies, which didn't even cost the taxpayer a cent.

The Guardian: State department orders cancellation of media subscriptions...outposts around the world to cancel all subscriptions to news and media outlets that are supposedly “non-mission critical” in another extraordinary Trump administration crackdown on normal information channels.

Another reported memo told relevant staff to make it a priority to cancel mainstream media outlets: The Economist, the New York Times, Politico, Bloomberg News, AP and Reuters...

A State Department employee who shared the memos...expressed concern that terminating news subscriptions — particularly to local outlets — would deprive embassies and consulates of information necessary to complete their mission. “This will endanger American lives overseas because we are being cut off from news sources that are needed on a daily basis,” said the employee, who spoke on the condition of anonymity

This country will have no clue and no warning the next time a major terrorist attack hits us because keeping the State Dept well informed is fraud according to the current mis-admistration.

Actually it posits that you can print as much as you want as long as you destroy it all afterwards. The suggested process is to tax the entire value of the amount issued. Which of course means the usual suspects can't squirrel it away in private accounts, or run the government on the amount printed and the tax revenue.
It still won't work since it destroys private property and ruins all business planning, but at least it won't be that inflationary.

232 If you've ever picked up a gold bar, you know how improbably heavy it seems. The specific gravity of gold is 19.32.

A block of gold weighing as much as Stacy Abrams would be about the size of a loaf of wonder bread dipped in sewage, or a roll of paper towels dipped in sewage, or eleven Big Mac sandwiches dipped in sewage.

I used an online calculator.

239 Apparently, that fight starts next week.

Trump has backed Johnson's House bill instead of Graham's Senate bill.

Posted by: TheJamesMadison

Graham f*cked up by trying to put the popular fix the border and a few other tidbits in one bill and the rest of the massive budget in another. Senate wants two reconciliation bills so that they can try to keep on grifting but give Trump scant benefit on a few items.

House is one reconciliation bill because that forces the weak sisters in the House majority to vote for massive spending cuts in order to get anything at all.

It was revealed back when Obama was president that there were (are) Iranian supporters and outright spies in DoD and DoS. These are people who have known connections to the Iranian government. Some even expressed their loyalty to Iran while holding positions at the US State Department and/or the Department of Defense.

Whether these individuals remain is debatable because I do not recall seeing any reporting about Obama or *biden era staffers imbedded with either department who fit that description being ousted by Trump.

Yet. Maybe they have?

Point being... the infiltration of US government agencies by terror supporting individuals has been ongoing for over a decade.

I can agree with all of the downsizing but still sympathize with a lot of the people being laid off/fired/whatever. And yes, there are a lot of people adjacent to the Government who will be impacted. I think sympathy isn't unwarranted for most of them as well.

Obviously I'm not talking about the Grifting Is A Way Of Life people, but when a secretary at DOE gets laid off I think we can agree with the need but not delight in the effect on him/her.

It absolutely sucks that the Government has so much money being spread so many places that this is a huge problem. The actions taken so far are absolutely needed. Just want to be mindful of the regular folks getting impacted by it.

This. I work in an academic research lab that's funded by NIH grants and I've seen first hand the wailing and gnashing of teeth over the NIH only funding 15% of overhead now. Do you want to know what the average overhead is for academic research (at least on the NIH's side)? 30%, and of course my particular institution's overhead is about 45%. That's why (at least in the op-ed I read) they don't tell you the initial overhead number - it looks out of whack.

315 I can agree with all of the downsizing but still sympathize with a lot of the people being laid off/fired/whatever. There are a lot of Just Regular Folks being caught up in this, so just like I'd sympathize with someone at a private company getting walking papers, so I can with the worker bees at FDA or whatever.

Flame away.

Bass explained that the Biden administration asked her to go to the African country to represent the then-president. Bizarrely, the Democrat lawmaker also revealed that she is now opening an investigation into why no one stopped her.

There are going to be lawsuits from all over regarding AI LLM models (IP theft for training data, thinly disguised ripoffs in music (and later animation videos), problems with model hallucinations when exposed to outputs from other AI models and so on.

A good experienced computer scientist aka software engineer would do well to retool and become an IP attorney if they could. Longer career without much obsolescence.

I talked for an hour about June 2020 with a lady who was losing her business and had gotten what was essentially a payday loan to pay the income tax quarterlies because she had no savings and no income because of covid, and she didn't want to have her house seized for back taxes.

Troubled electric vehicle maker Nikola has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection months after saying that it would likely run out of cash early this year.

Nikola was a hot startup and rising star on Wall Street before becoming enmeshed in scandal and its founder was convicted in 2022 for misleading investors about the Arizona company's technology.

At the trial of founder Trevor Milton, prosecutors say a company video of a prototype truck appearing to be driven down a desert highway was actually a video of a nonfunctioning Nikola that had been rolled down a hill.
