The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

The range of political opinions in American media is disturbing because the legacy media are overwhelmingly to the left. The new media are all over the political map...as it should be! We might not like the commie c*cksuckers pontificating about the evils of TrumpHitler, but we also have the right to disagree, and present an alternative.

Audacy, which is owned by Nazi collaborator George Soros through Soros Fund Management, crossed the line between political support for the leftist goals of the political and social destruction of America and the West, and overt support for violence.

Soros-Controlled Station Unmasks Vehicles of 'Undercover' ICE Agents in San Jose

This weekend, a radio station owned by the George Soros-controlled Audacy outrageously identified the vehicle whereabouts of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents operating in San Jose, California, which is known for violent gang activity.

This is so far beyond civilized behavior that the response should be overwhelming and definitive. Audacy should be fined by the FCC, the radio station should lose its broadcast license, and if these responsible can be identified, they should be held accountable in the public square.

Does anyone believe that the station acted in the public interest? Does anyone believe that those responsible for outing undercover agents of the federal government were not perfectly aware of the real possibility that they would be injured or killed?

The difference between individuals shouting the presence of "Immigra" from the rooftops of whatever slum they were working, and a federally licensed radio station using the publicly owned airwaves to subvert legal activities of the government is obvious. At the very least, every rational American on the right side of the political spectrum to sever their relationship with Audacy. Boycott them until they fail. Boycott every radio station they own until they fail. Write letters to their advertisers! Contact every congressman on the committees tasked with overseeing the FCC.

Soros is a citizen so... never. I suppose we might be able to get him extradited to Hungary but, given his age, it's unlikely.

These sorts of actions have wide support among the public. Hmmmm. What about an entity like Google broadcasting the location of speed enforcement? Is the problem that what Audacy is doing is endangering the lives of police? Is it equivalent to incitement to violence? This seems to be murky, since there is no call to violence, just telling people the police are there.

Before some of you blow a gasket, I'm just thinking through the implications.

I listened to podcast on my phone as well, but for sure I listen to radio in my car every day literally for hours and hours. Most of these stations are the same ones. I’ve listened to for 30 years.

1. Worth seeing at least once. Whether it's worth a repeat depends on how much you like Eggars films.

The cinematography is 10/10. I haven't seen a modern film this visually striking in a while. Really hope it wins. Seeing it in a movie meant it assaulted my senses, I don't know if it would be as intense streamed at home.

The film smooshes together the plots of Coppola's Dracula and the original Nosferatu. It ups the violence, the sex, the grossness, and the dread to 11. I love the coldness and bleakness of Eggars' films, but the warmth and charm of the Coppola film is sadly missing.

The theme of "don't call for evil, it will come knocking," works well in a Victorian monster film. But the premise of why the monster calls to her didn't make as much sense as Coppola's film

Gorgeous, but like I said, was a visually assaulting. It's not something I'll repeat watch a lot. Not as campily rewatchable as Coppola's. It did make me want to rewatch Mel Brooks' Dracula: Dead and Loving It! I might watch that this weekend.

This will be the first time a civilian aircraft will have gone supersonic over the CONUS (I recognize the Mojave Air and Space Port) having driven past it numerous times decades ago.

Yeah we aren’t designed to carry that kind of weight. This is the kind of person who needs medical intervention to kick start weight loss and then transition over to the only way weight loss is sustainable and healthy - complete change in approach to eating and exercise. People who need to lose 10, 20, even 100 pounds shouldn’t trade 1 health risk for another to lose weight, but the risk / reward at 500 pounds makes sense.

Trump Admin. may stop some gangs, keep them clear of some areas, but as long as there's a lot of money to be had by nonprofits, foundations, corporations, even individuals - thanks to the great uncontrolled influx - how can unchecked migration be halted without 'redoing' the 14th Amendment, at the minimum?

Is making resettlement efforts by far less profitable possible without greatly harming less moneyed residents residing in some of the settlement/hiding places?
