The Morning Report — 1/16/25

BassMass.jpg

Good morning kids. Aside from giving one a bit of a temporary sugar rush, the words of folks like Adam Carolla and Andrew Schulz, and even low-lifes like Michael Rapaport shrieking about Newsom and Bass, this notion that the incineration of Los Angeles is somehow magically going to turn California from Zimbabwe on the Pacific (which is what it was even years before the current firestorm), into a deep red state bastion of conservatism and sanity, ring hollow when one considers the underlying political/cultural factors that allowed this nightmare to happen in the first place.

To swipe the horrid 9/11 trutherism of blithering blivet Rosie O'Donnell and create something eminently more in keeping with the unvarnished truth about a frighteningly large segment of our society, as exemplified by the drones who keep electing Newsoms and Basses in California and in every other blue Shit hole state and city around our nation:

FIRE CAN'T MELT LEFTIST BRAINWASHING

The other big story that CBD and I discussed on the latest episode of our Award-Winning ™ podcast is the now official ceasefire deal between Israel and the subhuman Muslim terrorist savages of Hamas, pardon the multiple redundancies there. The link in the sidebar should now be working but it's hyperlinked here.

I cannot argue the point that CBD made about being a relative of one of these poor devils captured and brutalized by these subhuman dark age fiends for over a year and finally having them at long last on the verge of being liberated and reunited with them. Even if, and I believe this will be the case more than not with the hostages, it's merely their desecrated remains. The problem is, the Israelis must release from imprisonment the very same Hamas savages that participated in the greatest wave of Jewish bloodletting since the end of the Second World War and prior savagery. All that hostages for terrorists begets is a repeat of the savagery.

I have no doubt the humanitarian aspect played into Donald Trump's calculus in agreeing to help broker this deal, even if it meant having to partner with Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants and Self-gasser Blinken, whose aiding and abetting the terrorists because of their innate hatred of Israel and nightmare vision of having Iran become the major power in the Middle East, to do so. I questioned why despite the aforementioned, Trump didn't wait out one more week to get a better deal or at least give Israel the materiel and intel that no doubt Biden and Blinken had withheld so Bibi could finish the job of eradicating Hamas and letting the IDF liberate the remaining hostages. As a friend said to me, and I have to give it serious consideration, despite my reservations, maybe doing it this way was the best "DEAL" Trump could have made.

And yet, it's this notion of a "DEAL" that troubles me. Believe me, come next Tuesday all of us will be at long last relieved that the nightmare of Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants will have ended and we and the rest of the world will at long last at a bare minimum will have a four-year period of sanity with which to catch our breath and recuperate, if not be on the road to the restoration of civilization here at home, and perhaps become a beacon of freedom, hope and sanity for whatever is left of civilization especially in Europe to engender a Neo-Renaissance of its own. Please God.

Yet, psircling back to this deal in Israel, with the metaphorical if not literal ink barely blotted and dried on the Neville Chamberlain parchment, there's this troubling yet sadly unsurprising little nugget:

Hamas Leader Khalil al-Haya allegedly promised another October 7 style attack during a press conference Wednesday just after a tentative ceasefire was announced, according to multiple reports.

Al-Haya said that the Oct. 7 attacks on Israel “will forever be a source of pride for our people” and expressed no regret for the destruction caused by the terrorist group, according to multiple sources. As of Wednesday afternoon, a six-week ceasefire is set to begin on Sunday, with both sides set to exchange hostages and Israeli troops withdrawing from Gaza. “This EPIC ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Historic Victory in November, as it signaled to the entire World that my Administration would seek Peace and negotiate deals to ensure the safety of all Americans, and our Allies,” President-elect Donald Trump said on Truth Social Wednesday. “I am thrilled American and Israeli hostages will be returning home to be reunited with their families and loved ones.” (RELATED: ‘They Will Get It Done’: Trump Leads Negotiation To End Hamas Hostage Ordeal, Warns ‘A Lot Of Trouble’ If It Falters)

Aside from Israeli citizens there are also American citizens being held, so no doubt this too played into Trump's decision to move ahead. And yet, this situation reminds me of my opinion that Trump thinks in terms of this as a deal where everyone comes out a winner, as opposed to not truly understanding with whom he is "dealing," just as the first time around in 2016 wen he thought that the Democrats and those who disagreed with him were honorable and had the best interests of the nation at heart despite policy differences, as opposed to enemies who wanted his head on a pike.

On a positive note, we had this from Marco Rubio at his confirmation hearing yesterday:

‘How Can Any Nation on the Planet Coexist Side by Side With a Group of Savages Like Hamas?’ Israel has “to defend their national security and their national interest as I pointed out in my opening statement.”

And yet, and with a statement like that thank GOD he is on the Trump team and nominee for Secretary of State. If as I think likely he is confirmed, he will be sitting atop a vipers nest of Jew-hating America-hating globalists at Foggy Bottom. I wonder if Trump ran this deal by him beforehand, and if Rubio raised concerns how Trump responded?

Something else troubles me vis a vis Trump and his team that I would have thought he and they would understand. And that is the nature of the individuals on the other side of the table. This is not merely Hamas as an armed and savage entity, it is ISLAM itself. Hamas is out to kill every Jew in Israel and take it over because Islam is out to do the same across the planet with Jews, Christians, Hindus and everyone else who refuses to submit. As a reminder, ISLAM is the Arabic word that means Submission.

Yeah, Okay, I get it that Trump nor perhaps anyone on his team cannot outright tell the truth about the non-religion of non-peace and play the game because of politics. Which is why some Imam is going to give a benediction at the inauguration.

But really, Mr. President-elect and staff, did you have to invite an openly jihadist-loving Jew-hating scumbag from Dearbornistan who praised Hamas and Hezbollah!!! Did you ever hear of the term "vetting?"

Surely you could have reached out to people like Robert Spencer or Raymond Ibrahim, foremost experts and historians of Islam, to get a recommendation for an imam they might know, who at least keeps the Jew-hate on a low simmer every Friday night when the minaret blows the call that gives Obama and or Moochelle a stiffie. That is if there is even one of them out there? Let alone one who can fake tolerance for Jews.

That means, my dream of Donald Trump calling for the Islamic world to renounce the words of the Koran and Hadith that call Jews the descendants of dogs, pigs and apes that are to be slaughtered wherever they are found is a bridge too far.

Well, as I have always said, if I think he has made a mistake I'll call him out for it. That said, while the notion of freeing murderous terrorists in exchange for hostages to me is only asking for trouble, a la Pete Clemenza bemoaning the Munich agreement to Michael in the basement.

Not vetting the Inauguration Day imam is inexcusable. He should be disinvited at once.

Have a great day. And lastly, a quick shout-out and thank you for your continued, generous support in hitting our tip jar. It truly is appreciated more than you can know.

26 Jill Biden Is Still Bitter About What Pelosi Did to Her Husband. “It’s been on my mind a lot lately, and we were friends for 50 years,” she said of Pelosi. “It was disappointing.”

Pelosi told The New Yorker in August that the president hadn’t spoken to her since he dropped out of the race. When asked if their friendship could survive, Pelosi said, “I hope so. I pray so. I cry so.”

Jill has every right to be bitter. The way some Democrats handled the Joe was shameful. The double-speak did no one any good and I'm surprised the party didn't come out of it worse.

The worst part of that fateful debate was watching the POTUS being ‘patient walked’ off that stage by his wife. I felt we were in for trouble then.

Some are bitter that Mrs. Biden and the president's staff tried to keep Joe’s frailty from the public and Democrats. That Biden tried to throw the Democratic Party under the bus by his insistence on running for reelection.

People would have forgotten all about the stupid debate if the press didn't go crazy about it, and democrats didn't throw Biden under the bus. Meanwhile, Trump just does whatever the hell he wants.

It's shitty but this is what happens when you are dealing with unadulterated evil. And of course I'm not referring to Hamas.

I'm still pissed it happened though. There used to be a little something we believed about not negotiating with terrorists. This is an Obama/Jarrett "deal" through and through. And if it had had Obama's faggy name all over it, the vast majority of our side would be bitching about freeing terrorists right now and not what a great "deal" it was.

Those people are dead. Its only a question of timing. You don't decimate Hamas - and the Gaza Strip they operate in - to save those remaining few. You do it to save the next bunch not yet shot, raped, or taken hostage.

Dispersal of everyone left in the Gaza strip to various points far and wide. This is another thing that too many people refuse to understand. I use the word "refuse" extremely carefully, because its such an easy concept that I figured it out for myself. And if I can, everybody else should.

Hamas is just the sand flowing through the neck of the hourglass. The rest of the sand is the remaining residents of the Gaza Strip. That little bit of peace Israel will get from all this ? Its just that fraction of time when you flip the hourglass, before the grains start falling through the next again.

How does Trump or any US president strategically stay out of the news regarding the Middle East?

While the focus is on a potential short term cease fire deal to do a prisoner swap in Israel, the truth is this issues is a microcosm of the entire Middle East powder keg. Hamas is Iran. So is Hezbollah. Syria is now in the hands of terrorists. Lebanon is unstable. Thanks to Biden the entire region is once again teetering on regional war.

We might not care about the Middle East but it cares about us and there are often no good deals just less bad ones. Get our people out, get a few moments of stability and then after Trump is actually in office start implementing Trump led policy.

155 I’ve said it before, I don’t believe people generally understand the game these people are playing.

“Insurrection” is a legal term of art. I don’t know if it requires a formal declaration. It doesn’t matter, Progressives aren’t bound by such legal niceties.

They can arrest people without any pretext, whisk you off the street, and confine without bail or legal representation. All those Constitutional rights we think we have don’t apply.

That’s why they call it an Insurrection. Clear now?

158 Trump will often get behind the least bad option and he will do it with gusto. He knows that "things" will often change soon and that there can always be another decision made.

I sincerely doubt this is the "deal" Trump wanted. I believe it was forced upon him by Jarrett and Company and Hamas. Why did Jarrett and Company want it? Because they knew in a week Trump was going to take care of business and look good doing it. And that to them is worse than any hostage taking.

So the "deal" gets hostages out and Hamas will never stay true to any "deal" so Trump rolls with it. But *we* have to be a little more selective about what we celebrate and this here is Classic Jarrett Ayers terrorist licking bs.

You certainly don't invite representatives of a Global Fundamentalist movement dedicated to asymmetric warfare against your culture, with the goal of complete extermination.

But this is still a Western blind-spot. The notion of unlimited Religious Freedom. There's very, very little one can't get away with if they just insist their "faith" compels them. Refuse to fight in a war ? No problem. Refuse to pay taxes ? Sure thing. And on and on.

243 By that justification, Trump can make any deal - no matter how bad - and his gloating over it is just Trump being Trump. Excused, of course, because its Trump.

By that line of thinking ? Trump can do no wrong. He certainly can't be criticized for it, as long as he looks "strong".

249 There may well be some angle I'm not seeing in all this. But if I were incoming President, here's what I would do (for real, not my usual jokes).

I would tell the Israelis "look, you have carte blanche in Gaza, West Bank, and Lebanon. Do whatever you feel you need to do, up to and including extirpating the Arabs on your borders. There will not be even the mildest condemnation from my administration.

Moreover, you won't have to worry about us holding up any more arms shipments. We'll equip your war machine, short of WMDs. We'll freely share any intelligence we have with you, as well, and the leaks stop today. I'll have anyone who does that locked up.

HOWEVER, there is a 0.00% of direct American intervention in your conflict, and even less of a chance of us going to war with Iran for you, so just forget about, if it's on your mind."

That's it. Simple and clean. The hostages wouldn't even come up.

We just had 2 years of Islamists rioting all over the US because of our support for Israel. We have no idea how many are actually here now thanks to 4 years of Biden's open borders. Whether we send troops there or they send terrorists here we are widely and correctly seen as Israels closest ally and that means we are viewed as a target.

Democrats have been trying for years to make Iran the power center in the ME. That's how we got Hamas and Hezbollah on the move under Biden. The AA were an attempt to move toward a more peaceful ME centered around alliances by arab countries opposed to Iran and Israel. What's happening in Israel is a small part of a much bigger issue.

299 Pure LIVs don't care about politics at all and think all pols are the same (and they aren't entirely wrong to view things that way)

Pure LIVs. They love Jesus and Meth, but mostly Meth.

One gal was talking about how her family all showers together. Which makes sense when you have six people in a trailer. They didn't know about Biden and Ashley, and quite frankly if told to them they would consider that perfectly natural.

Another gal was bragging that her live-in got a $2/hr raise and they were going to buy a new 4x4 ATV. (while still living in a trailer). When asked about the elections, she was favorable towards Trump because he would make gasoline cheaper for their 4x4.

I can go on.

310 A lot of talk about how Trump intends to revamp the press briefing protocol.

He should use a merit-based standard for objective and accurate reporting according to a third party measurement, and place the top-tier journalists for accuracy in the front, moving rearward as ratings go down. That is, for example, all outlets and reporters who joined in the Russia hoax, or denied the Hunter Biden laptop, or who otherwise scored poorly, shunted to the back. So naturally all the major media outlets will be stuck in the rear, no longer claiming front row access, which will pass to more obscure but quality journalists.

We have all assumed that it was Barack who was pushing Harris.
I go back to the story of Harris introducing Barack as running for President in a back-stage meeting recounted by Dave Chappell.

But what if that's all wrong? What if it was really Michelle?
It fits a lot of pieces together:
The backstabbing, rumor campaign to get Joe out.
The "resignation" letter with no "fingerprints"
The half-hearted "hostage video" campaigning by Barack.
And, especially, the tone-deaf haranguing "you men have to support the black women!"
Plus Barack and Trump's chummy chats now.

But now, the rumors of the split all but confirm it to me.
All of it fits Michelle clumsily scheming behind the scenes.

Yep. Like every other day ending in "Y". There are those who believe that the Middle East will calm down if just somehow, some way, you could pick up Israel and put it down somewhere else.

I've been there enough to see for myself that idea is wrong. Those Islamic states having Oil money is the problem. Oil money is the fuel for their jihad. And they'll always jihad against something. Each other if necessary. Its simply their nature.

At best, we could take the oil ourselves, and the money that comes with it, and Morgenthau Plan them. Even then, they'd just jihad each other.

I think that's what Trump is going for. That was the whole point behind the AA. The ME was relatively calm by the end of Trump's 1st term. Iran was in a box and not funding their terrorist proxies, no wars in Israel, Houthis not firing on ships, Hezbollah not attacking, Syria not in the hands of terrorists and on and on.

The Abraham Accords were designed to promote cooperation and commerce between Israel and Arab states and build a peaceful, for the ME anyway, coexistence. It was starting to take shape and the Saudis and Israel were getting ready to take the big step when Hamas attacked. I think it's kind of naive to not think the Obama/Biden cabal didn't do that on purpose because they favor a ME dominated by Iran.

429 Good morning, all, and thank you, J.J. It certainly appears your concerns are onpoint again.

Ruby Chen, father of Itay Chen, a 19-year-old Israeli-American who was taken captive by the Hamas terrorist organization on Oct. 7, 2023, has appeared on ABC News, You-Tube w/i the past few days, and even more recently on Fox News this AM:

Fox And Friends, 05:20 CLIP
'Hostage's father reacts to cease-fire pause, calls out White House's 'insufficient' rhetoric' Ruby Chen joins 'Fox & Friends' to explain the concern over Israel's decision to pause the cease-fire agreement with Hamas as his son remains a hostage.

I pray that he is heard but there is a strong tendency among our elected to push away* those most closely involved with tragic & cruel events - though they have much wisdom to depart - for the advice of, and praise from, their 'experts.'

(Andrew Pollack, whose daughter, Meadow, was one of the 17 murdered victims in the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in 2018, comes to mind.)

So, OTOH, some experts react to the cease-fire in Gaza and the release of the remaining hostages taken by terrorists:

430 >The Atlantic Council, New Atlanticist, January 15, 2025
'Experts react: Everything you need to know about the Israel-Hamas cease-fire and hostage deal'
By Atlantic Council experts

In small part, "The deal, mediated by US, Qatari, and Egyptian officials, will take place over three phases, each slated to last six weeks. During the first phase, Hamas will release thirty-three hostages—women, children, and those over fifty years of age—and Israel will release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, begin to withdraw from some areas, and facilitate a significant increase in humanitarian aid into Gaza. In the second phase, Hamas is slated to free the remaining male hostages while Israel withdraws from Gaza. The third phase would include the return of deceased hostages and the beginning of reconstruction.

Does this deal, which now heads to the Israeli cabinet for approval, really mark the end of the war? What’s next for Gaza’s reconstruction, Israel’s security, and wider regional efforts such as Israeli-Saudi normalization? Below, Atlantic Council experts share their answers to these and other pressing questions."

As Trump nominees are being asked to practically pledge their allegiance to Ukraine, remember this: Independent TV, 'Trudeau and Zelensky give Ukrainian Nazi war veteran standing ovation in Canadian parliament,' Sep. 2023

In part, "Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau and Volodymyr Zelensky stood to applaud a man who fought for the Nazi SS during the Second World War after an address in parliament, footage shows.

Anthony Rota, Speaker of Canada’s House of Commons, hailed 98-year-old Yaroslav Hunka as “a Ukrainian Canadian war veteran” who “fought for Ukrainian independence against the Russians”.

His tribute promoted a standing ovation from lawmakers in the chamber.

Rota later apologised when it emerged that Hunka served in a division of the Nazi SS during the war.

The speaker’s address had come after Mr Zelensky made a speech of his own in the Canadian parliament.
--
A few days later, Trudeau apologized for the "terrible error." And Zelensky? And no Ukrainians elections held, either.
