Best Bird Dog I ever had ruptured a couple of discs on an ice fall. She didn't last 6 months after that. That Lab would hold a point while you smoked a cigar. Mark multiple birds and retrieve them all. Like 3-5 at a time. Do a blind retrieve over a mile. Sit in a duck blind without moving for hours. Literally a hunting machine. And also the sweetest lab you ever met. She did insist on killing any and all rabbits she encountered. That was her one quirk. But she was quick about it. What is traditional New Years fare among the Morons?
Motor stables / preventative maintenance checks & services on the vehicle fleet. Everything got a solid deep inspection and serviceability check today. Ducati needs a new chain and sproket set along with new Brembo disk brake pads as well as full fluid change of all fluids. That's gonna cost me, the bit torrented $450 factory service manual says it's a six hour job at $200/hour, plus parts. The Brembo brake pads are gonna hit me for about another $400. I haven't priced the chain and sprocket set. Eff my life for wanting an Italian motorcycle. At least Smash's Honda Rebel comes in clean as a whistle, with no adjustments or other service parts needed. Can't destroy a Honda, would buy again except it's damned near to tiny for me to ride. We MUST BAN EV Assault Vehicles.
From a DailyMail article - "The EV truck is a particularly deadly weapon with its large height and weight and the ability to go from zero to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds." All EVs are heavier and have greater acceleration than equivalent-sized IC-engined vehicles. An EV can go slow to maneuver around barriers then rapidly accelerate to vicious crowd-ramming speed. MORE FROM MUSK: (Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion) "appears likely to be an act of terrorism. Both this Cybertruck and the F-150 suicide bomb in New Orleans were rented from Turo. Perhaps they are linked in some way." Posted by: andycanuck (hovnC) at January 01, 2025 05:56 PM (hovnC) _______________________________ Musk knows more than that. A rented Cybertruck is going to have data sharing enabled. That means anyone who stood within a 180 degree angle to the front of the vehicle at any given time is going to be on camera and in the Tesla databanks. This one is going to get interesting. Just looked up Turo. Interesting concept…like a VRBO for cars. I had no idea. Good way for terrorists to get a hold of EV bombs. I’m thinking the EV hosts might be a bit more circumspect about vehicle sharing in the future. I would say Vegas and NO is not a coincidence.

A bit more has come out on the Blue on Blue that resulted in an F-18F Super Hornet being shot down.
Three Hornets, two strike aircraft and a tanker configured Hornet were in Marshall working on doing the hardest thing ever in Naval Aviation, landing back on the boat at night. The airborne E-2C went off station. Incident Hornet pilot saw USS Gettysburg, CG in charge of air defense, launch an SM-2. Then he saw the SM-2 changing orientation towards his aircraft and without hesitation pulled the handle ejecting him and his WSO before it impacted the aircraft. Then it gets more fun as the cruiser fires a second SM-2 that starts tracking on one of the other Super Hornets. LSO on Truman, who was trying to land these Hornets, sees this happening and calls Gettysburg to abort the engagement. Second SM-2 missed the other F-18E by 100ft. I am amazed that F-18E pilot was able to land after experiencing that. Posted by: Anna Puma at January 01, 2025 06:11 PM (wwyOR) Posted by: gKWVE at January 01, 2025 06:11 PM (gKWVE) 227

I’ve realized that almost all of the car bombs and IED’s of the Iraq war era were built either by covert military or ex military, with top of the line explosives. That’s why they were so devastating. Someone may have tried for that with the Tesla, but it was just wet fart compared to the real thing.

and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
