Really, the only near peer female sport is tennis and in many ways, women's tennis is superior to men's tennis in that they are not trying to bomb each other with serves.
Also American women are actually competitive in the sport, and basically after Sampres left the game, American's mens tennis basically fell off the map.

None of this sensational stuff bears on the facts of the case. It's all just magical thinking and irresponsible, ignorant reporting. Jordan Neely was asphyxiated for several minutes; it is not mere coincidence that he went into respiratory arrest. K2 does not cause respiratory arrest. Medical examiners routinely rely on video evidence; it's not unethical or unusual to do so.
I am hopeful that Penny will be acquitted, not because the facts and the law are on his side, but because the jury will be fed up with public disorder, and they don't much care what happens to a gutter rat like Jordan Neely. Penny has a good chance.
If he's convicted, he's guilty. Sorry about that, but it's true. Political narratives do not nullify the law. Please do not become demoralized; stay cool.
There is a way to push back against leftist narratives in race-politicized criminal cases. False counter-narratives only lead to loss and demoralization.
I don't want to upset anyone, and I'm not going to argue about this. If Penny is convicted, just shrug and move on. You can't be in the right 100% of the time.

I've been noticing that the wnba is trying to glam up their stars, but it's not working for me at least. I just can't get over the feeling they are glamming them up to attract other women. Another reason the wnba fails is they ignore 50 percent of the population that is 80 percent of the sports audience. Show any level of outreach to men by the wnba? Compare and contrast that with nfl and nba being predominately targeted toward women now. The men are baked in. Look at who the commercials target. Look at who sings the lead in.

Diane Marseglia messed up and brought national attention the election fraud happening in the Philadelphia area.
Had this not happened, in all likelihood, the illegal ballots would be counted and anyone who challenged this called an “election denier.”
If Josh Shapiro cared about the rule of law, he should have immediately condemned these egregious actions. He didn’t.
Instead, he waited for the PA Supreme Court to weigh in and then makes a statement on their coattails.
The statement contains the falsehood that the county commissioners “lacked clarity.” This completely untrue.
You can watch in this clip where the county law department explicitly tells the county to follow the law, and not count the ballots.
Now, the local (and national) media machine goes into full gear praising Shapiro for his “leadership.”
Meanwhile, it’s very likely there will be no repercussions for this open defiance of the law.

But in this case? Absolutely, yes. The US is keeping this war going. But its attitude will drastically change on January 20th. Trump is committed to ending this and getting peace. Putin can have what he wants if he's just patient, here.

I never understood why a government for the people would want to penalize consumer consumption.
What's wrong with eliminating 80% of big gubbernmint, simplfying the tax code, and having a very low flat tax rate for all except the neediest, enough to cover what the reduced federal gubbernmint needs?

It's funny that this person boils it down to bragging rights -- this is what is important to them, attaining degrees/validation from institutions.
If I've learned something in recent years, it's that chatting with various small businessmen/people (plumbers, window replacement, HVAC, arborists, etc.) it's that these people are much more savvy in economics, the labor market, and how various current state/federal government policy effects their bottom lines, as well as the quality of life and expenses for the average person.
And they are always - always! - conservative. Funny how that works, huh?

I would like to see a system where the employer is used as an extension of the federal government and takes money out of each paycheck but not the exact amount so at the end of each year the average working slob can file his or hers tax "return" and get their own money back without interest but thinking they are getting a bonus or something because they are stupid and the federal government can avoid being the heavy trying to collect their taxes.

I don't see why there's more of a chance to have a flat consumption tax versus a flat income tax.
Want me to tell you how VAT tax can jump from a fixed rate of say 5% to say 17% to say anything higher?
By flat taxing income, the government can more accurate guestimate how much tax will go into its coffers, whereas consumer consumption can fluctuate much more IMO. And if consumption is insufficient, guess what rate goes up to make up for the differential?

So, how long after death does a person have a pulse after asphyxiation? I've seen people faint and their body shudders and toes curl and backs arch, but they didn't die. I wonder what an independent coroner, looking over the exact same information, would say. Also, for Penny, Neely was still struggling, so why would he let him go? To get up and attack again?
