20 Speaking of yard signs, I have a big orange sign by my front door that basically says leave us alone, don't try to sell us anything or bother us with any soliciting garbage.

Two days doesn't go by without some a$$hole ringing my doorbell trying to sell me something. We have dogs and once they ring the doorbell it's pretty much over as I can't hear a thing. I have to go outside through the garage and ask them if they read the sign. They always say yes I read the sign, but claim they aren't here to sell me anything. It's usually something like they have a wonderful opportunity for people in the neighborhood or some crap like that.

I tell them they are trespassing and if they don't leave I am calling the cops. Usually they leave but I had one a$$hole who was all butthurt because I refused to shake his hand.

I have a new bus route this year to finish getting to campus because enrollment keeps growing and there's no more parking space at the lot I was using in prior semesters. This new route goes by a LOT of campus housing.

I have seen two campaign signs displayed in the student housing. Both are huge, luxurious, and in support of Trump.

And I haven't seen a single keffiyeh.

So my turn.
Live D&D was a real thing around here in the 80's. We had real fireballs (tennis balls slit and filled with lighter fluid). Magic Missles (Roman Candles). We used Bunny Bumper arrows. Padded rebar with carpet padding and duct tape for swords and spears. Made our own Chainmail armor out of bailing wire. There is still a group around here that carries on the tradition. I'm literally a legend in their circle being one of the originals. The "crazies" as they refer to us.
Had a very cool place to do it at every Sunday for years.
The infamous American Flats, an old contaminated mill up by Virginia City. Had tunnels and cathedrals and huge buildings.
We spent months clearing out those tunnels and cleaning that place up.
Our moto was "I don't want to hurt my friends, just kill them". Coined by a now deceased friend in front of the cops during a swat raid on our campsite. Fortunatley one of us was the son of the local judge.
Injuries? Yes many. No fatalities.
Saturday was D&D, Sunday was wargaming with much wine.

I hope the polls are wrong, but we have a lot of blue staters moving here every year.
They've put the price of real estate thru the stratosphere and Maricopa and Pima counties are blue.
They are the biggest counties here.
The influx of red state people appears to have barely kept AZ from turning blue.

That's exactly what his SS escort is trained to do in that situation. You really can't expect him to personally stop and set up a triage and begin first aid. Yes, he needs to acknowledge the injured later at a public event, but the only thing he would have accomplished by stopping at the scene would have been together in the way of the first responders. Trump or Vance would have done the same thing.
