Anime Music Video of the Day Song is My Type by Saint Motel, an indie band from Los Angeles and one of the few bands currently active that I genuinely enjoy, what with me being 29 and all. Anime is the recently aired Apothecary Diaries, which is truly excellent and recommended to everyone except children. It's not an adult anime, but it is a grown up anime. On the ONT JQ asked how the Killer Kittens From Outer Space are doing. Big black Stirling was sleeping with me when the alarm went off, and now he's sprawled on the floor showing what an impressive male he is. Little Dagny has been caught sleeping next to me as well, though not all the time. She's off doing Dagny things in the other room.

I know nothing about lithium but it seems to be highly explosive in batteries, yes? At least I keep hearing stories about cars and trucks exploding - stories which I never heard before lithium was widely used.

Last night, with the aid of melatonin, I found myself in a large barn-like area that apparently was a combo petting zoo and sideshow carnival center. Three thugs were quietly threatening me. I managed to tip over the chair of one of them, and my date and I sprang up. She fled out of the building. I leaped up some stairs to a loft area and tried to call the cops, but 911 wasn't working. The lady there dialed the state police, and the trooper told me he was driving as fast as he could, but it would be an hour before he arrived.
I could see my three pursuers all sitting on a couch down below by the barn doors; no way I could sneak past them. One girl volunteered to find me a gun, and ran out, but I never saw her again before I woke up. Mental movies . . . Fracking wastewater from Pennsylvania alone could provide 40% of domestic lithium requirements for the US. (Ars Technica)
- They're not even trying any more. This is a way to get fracking back on the table to attempt to lower energy prices. It won't have any meaningful effect on EVs or EV supplies, and they'll make up some excuse why when they need to. And this time they're fracking to SAVE the planet. Hilarious. JQ, never grew anything, but the people who grew eggplant all say the same thing: Have a lot of friends/neighbors as you'll have so much eggplant all at one time you'll be begging people to take it; giving it away gets harder each year, too. But I say, eggplant parm for the freezer, maybe even some babaganouj, though I've never frozen the latter. It's your own microwave *DING* food. Eggplant reheats well in the microwave, another selling point to cooking eggplant dishes for the freezer.

You're asking for rebellion out of the party - and more importantly the political and social philosophy - the prizes order, conformity, and obedience above all else. You're not going to get reform in the face of opposition out of the generations that are - quite literally - just now coming to terms with the notion that all the institutions they grew up revering are not only corrupt but are their dire enemies. Apothecary diaries was fantastic and I am really looking forward to another season. Between that show and Frieren, I’ve really been imoressed with the depth we’ve seen from anime this year. In a sea of repetitive isekai power fantasies, there always seems to be a few shows that manage to shine through with real heart and great storytelling.
