Right now, with the heat and humidity, plus the imbecilic nature of the denizens here, every time I leave my apartment I find myself getting frustrated and exasperated, if not furious. Miss Linda's crazy idea of rescuing an abandoned fire extinguisher, which promptly leaked and send white dust all through the interior of my car, was pretty close to the last straw.

26 Oh, also, my old laptop died and I ordered a 1st generation hp consumer laptop to replace it off of eBay. I did that Saturday and sent a message to the seller that I could pick it up… it looks like he’s going to wait until something work related pops up and then he’ll let me know…

The irritating thing is I’m in east Houston but it’s almost easier for me to drive to Beaumont and back than to go to Microcenter or IKEA…

I've been buying Moto Gs for myself and my family for years. Inexpensive, reasonably reliable, and close to stock Android.

I like to treat phones as fairly disposable - if someone drops one or breaks theirs, or the battery or charging port gives out, I'll just go purchase a new one, swap the sim card and microsd card and we'll be good to go.

It's processed. I doubt they need to "ultra-process" it. No, I'm not advocating eating bug meal.

There are difference between the 2. Most of our foods are "processed" in some way or at some level. That doesn't automatically make the bad. But the truly ultra-processed garbage is usually unhealthy, cheaper to produce and sometimes an economic way for a manufacturer to use up waste byproducts from their other food manufacturing lines.

My plan is to drive up to Indiana in June, so I too need to have the Buick's oil changed. It's time anyway: six months, about 3800 miles. I get some highway in every week, it's a warm climate (to put it mildly), and the oil is synthetic, so January and June for changes make sense.

I'll also have the belts and hoses inspected, and see if I need any brake work done.

We are big on salads, veggies, poultry, eggs, fish, some meat, some dairy products, some fruit, fresh soups.

Water, teas and coffee are the main beverages. OK, add in occasional wines and liquors.

We have cut back a lot on ready made, freezer section, and just add water products.

Neither of us are on any meds. Yeh, we started popping a dozen supplements since Corona started but we seem to have chosen them well.

Except it's recycling that's doing it. If a Thomas the Tank engine toy is thrown away after a fulfilling life of play then it's safe in a landfill. Well, like straight people like some gays can be very interesting but not because they are gay. IMO, Douglas Murray is interesting and incredibly clever and smart. He wouldn't not be interesting to me if I didn't enjoy his writing or verbal debates with people and was simply a gay in sequins and a pink outfit on top of a Gay Pride float. I've worked it with directly. The info the major players have on the public in aggregate and per-specific-person is fucking amazing. *Some* users are cleaning house with it.

Ironically a good use of a lot of the new dodgy AI stuff is doing the gruntwork so you don't have to hire Indians and Eastern Europeans to do it for you.
