Golden Hour Cafe

Najac: This small medieval village, located in the southwest of France,

by a 13th century castle and offers spectacular views

"Golden hour" or "magic hour" is the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset. The light is still bright enough that no artificial lighting is needed to take perfect pictures, but the light is also more golden and more red than normal daylight, giving a warm, glowing look to everything.

A hiker and his dog have a chance encounter with an ibix.

Driving on the Amalfi Coast at golden hour.

The ocean at golden hour. NB the sea stacks in the background.

Stowaway seal.

A humpback whale with a barnacle beard and her calf.

Mount Etna blows smoke rings, called volcanic vortex rings.

Nice pictures of the massive castle in Rome, Sant'Angelo.

Skiing down the sheerest cliff. Note in the beginning, it looks like he's skiing down the mountain's spine, but after a bit he turns his skis towards the cliff.

Akshually, you should go chasing waterfalls.

Golden hour over Durbach, Germany.

Golden hour over the Alps.

Time lapse of a volcano (at Villarica, wherever that is) and the Milky Way:

17 Seal flesh is exceedingly oily, and not very palatable; but by practice, residents in the northern regions learn to relish it.

The head and fins of the seal are preserved under the grass in summer, and in winter a whole seal is frequently buried in the snow. The flesh, half frozen, half putrid, in which state the Greenlanders term it mikiak, is eaten with the keenest appetite.

Seals rarely associate with penguins, as the latter have a terrific stench sometimes described as "James Carville's farts after eating 4 pounds of mikiak".

Needs a cleaning but the only apparent damage is the middle, top wooden handguard is separated a bit from the bottom forestock.

97 "Question Two: Do existing laws already cover everything?"

Depends what you mean by 'everything.'

If you mean, is it already illegal to 'occupy' (trespass) a space, or commit A/Bs, or block public access, or burn shit, the answer is yes, we already have laws against that. The problem is that TPTB don't enforce those laws against leftists. More laws won't help.

OTOH, if you mean we need a law that prohibits legal protests and critical speech against a particular named religious or ethnic group, I think that is way wrong morally, and violates 1A.

139 On that SMLE, you're looking to get the worn barrel drilled out, and a new "liner" pressed in.

USED to be a very common thing, up till about the late 1970. Lotta shot-out, .mil-surp WWII bolties were still being sold, dirt cheap in the gun stores, hardware stores and pawn shops, nationwide.

Now, most of those gun stores are gone, actual GUNSMITHS are tough to find, and there's no longer a supply of common and cheap surplus rifles waiting in oaken barrels to be adopted by the next guy wanting to "bubba" up a cheap deer rifle.

But do your (non google) searches on "barrel relining" or "re lining". And be willing to ship to anywhere. Might have to, to reach a shop that still does the work.

If you are on the west coast of the US, Morning Naughtical twighlight is VERY VERY brief, because you don't have water in the east, but Evening nautical twightlight lasts FOREVER because the pacific is so big, that there is light long after the sun has set, and obviously the opposite if you are on the east coast.

Golden hour and blue hour have no real precise astronomical definition like twilight ranges do, but the Golden hour is oft taken to be the time when the Sun is 10 degrees or less above the horizon. Sometimes 6 degrees is used.

Blue hour is oft taken as the time the sun is between 8 and 2 degrees below the horizon. This overlaps with the various twilights.

Summary. Orca's love them some carbonara, they just don't have pasta.

271 And if you take a significantly older woman to that same nice restaurant, you become the cutest man in the universe taking out your Memaw for dinner.

hehehe

I'm quite happy to watch every other matchup go deep. Besides, I'm incapable of rooting for the Bruins.

Lo, these many years ago, I had a girlfriend 12 years younger than me, though she looked younger , didn’t care what anybody, woman, man, nor animal, thought. I felt like Conan the barbarian.

My wife is Aboriginal. In '98 we went an an Australia tour lasting about 5 weeks. We were walking through NT (Northern Territory) and there were tribal groups gathered under the gums, and they looked HATRED at us.

Outright fucking hatred, I turned to my girlfriend at the time, my current wife, "Am I gonna have to kill an entire tribe of your people?" She said, "Fuck them, anger is all they know." Again, my wife is aboriginal, so she's talking about "her" people.

Being from NWI and the chicago area I have been accused of racism so many times it didn't matter, but NEVER IN MY LIFE, did I think it would lead to a direct and GROUP attack on myself.

The big thing? The Abboriginals weren't looking at me with hate, they weren't looking at the white fella, they were looking at my wife, the black girl with a white fella, she was a traitor, they wanted to get at her and punish her. I could read their hatred it was so

283 Apparent. I REALLY, this was back when I was at my most fit and I really REALLY wanted to hurt those cunts (American cunt, not Australian cunt) but my wife was just so casual about it, because I guess that's a thing. If you are a successful, even in the most minor way, as an aboriginal you are a slave to the white mans game.

I let it, go, but I really wanted to run in and crush those savages, because as I said, their hate wasn't at me, because they are cowards, it was at my 5'2 wife, and they wanted to let her know "we see you"

289 Slaves built this country

If slaves built the country, why didn't the South win the Civil War? They had most of them.

I don't know if it is more annoying that such stupidity is put out by "intellectuals", or that anyone still listens to them.
