Besides, if we were serious about Russia/Ukraine, we’d look at Russia’s COG - oil. Don’t send a dime or a person to Ukraine - exploit our oil resources like mad, drive the price of oil down, on which Russia’s budget is based (not wheat, not nickel, not anything else - oil) and watch Russia cease its adventurism. Or, not even try.
But this makes sense from countless angles so of course our government and elites don’t want to do it.

He didn't, though. Tucker's whole schtick with interviews is that he's the anti-Sean Hannity. He just lets the subject talk and you the viewer are assumed to be smart enough to decide what you think about what they're saying. Half of the media hysteria is specifically that he's not coming on after the interview and saying "Everything he just said is wrong. Slava Ukraini!"
Anyway, Putin's comments that the KGB (and everyone else) knows Biden isn't really in charge are fun of course, but the real meat there was the part where Tucker just went randomly wandering around and discovered the Moscow subway is cleaner and safer than anything in the US, among other things.

Let's assume you are correct (I don't know how many superdelegates there are, and what rules constrain them). In most of the scenarios, it really doesn't matter. If Biden is the nom, they'll find a way to convince him that his health is turning dramatically south, or that the only way for him and/or Hunter to stay out of jail is to withdraw.

I had two main complaints: first he didn’t ask a lot of probing follow up questions. Second he did his goofy laugh a few times; I know that’s superficial but it does not exude gravitas.
Not sure anyone else would do better but VDH is a good suggestion

Thanks, I just found your reply by accident but your question is valid. When he talked to Carlson he spoke of Clinton, W, and Trump in a positive manner he never brought up Joey's name and I believe in response he did say that Biden was mentally compromised.
Also, he did say that current American policies are good for Russia's business. He cited numbers that have not been refuted.

This conflict in the Ukraine looks to me very similar to the whole Vietnam foofaraw:

If they think that the election is loseable, I don't see how they feel like spending more than a year propping up Biden just to have him disappear and then replaced by a largely unknown (on the national stage) candidate will actually work in their favor. It'd be an attempt to replace Biden with "Generic Democrat", but the move, especially when combined with the fact that "generic Democrat" won't actually decry any of the administration's policies, doesn't seem like some kind of great electoral strategy.
I still maintain that it's about patronage, they trust their election fortifications, and other factions simply want more direct control of the executive branch.

If someone is translating from language "A" to language "B" it seems to me that the translation is more likely to be accurate if the person is a native "A" speaker because he will understand the nuances, idioms, and cultural references of "A."

A friend at work told me a story about someone he knew was visiting Antietam. That guy got separated from the rest of his group while wandering around the battlefield. A couple hours later, they met back up. While they were discussing what they had seen, he made a passing comment about the reenactors were some of the best he had seen at any civil war site. Every one else just stared at him, because there were no battle reenacting there that day.
