Special Counsel: Biden Shared Classified National Security Information With Someone Not Permitted to Receive It, But That's Okay, Because Biden Has "DIMINISHED FACULTIES"

Wow.

Assuming this account is legit: this is something. It says it's a project of Heritage, so I provisionally think it's real. (No checkmark, though.)

Update: AmGreatness star (and former AoSHQ guest blogger) Deb Heine just confirmed to me that the "diminished faculties" line is in the report, the current version, on pages 247-248. Always trust content from ace, even when he's slapdash and shaky.)

So Biden didn't just steal classified documents he had no right to possess -- he also shared them with people who did not have a government clearance to see them.

But the special counsel says: He has a "faulty memory " and "DIMINISHED FACULTIES," so we're given this feeble, demented old man a pass on this MAJOR CRIME.

Oversight Project
@OversightPR

Special Counsel Hur found both: (1) "faulty memory"; and (2) "diminished faculties." That second finding is hugely significant. It is a finding the President not only has memory issues, but also has cognitive impairment. No surprise the White House strenuously objected to this language.

The "diminished faculties" line appears on the top of the second page, below:

diminihedcapacity.jpg

I dunno, is this text in the document itself, or are they saying this was the text of the original document, before Biden's caregivers objected (presumably on HIPPA grounds) and got them to soften the language?

At the very least: Biden will no longer be able to use the basement strategy. People will demand he sit for long, antagonistic interviews and not be permitted to dodge and change the subject when his brain glitches.

Which is pretty much the same as saying: Biden will have to step aside.

My guess is that Biden's caregivers are attempting to negotiate a Superbowl interview with CBS -- but insisting on the most in-the-bag Democrat propagandist CBS has.

Do the liberals at CBS want to protect him any longer, though?

This report is a political kill-shot, possibly ordered up by the Democrat establishment to push the senile man out of office.

Biden's lawyers and caregivers did in fact demand changes to the report:

Thanks to Ann.

Biden's defense, as quoted by The Atlantic (which is covering this), is that these interviews occurred around 10/7 and I guess hi mind was too taxed at that time to remember past events like the death of his own son?

"We do not believe that the report's treatment of President Biden's memory is accurate or appropriate. The report uses highly prejudicial language to describe a commonplace occurrence among witnesses: a lack of recall of years-old events," the lawyers write. They complain that other witnesses' lapses in memory are not treated with the same pejorative tone, and say that Biden's interview occurred the day after the October 7 attacks in Israel, so the president's attention was elsewhere. "I was so determined to give the Special Counsel what they needed," Biden said in a statement, "that I went forward with five hours of in-person interviews over two days on October 8th and 9th of last year, even though Israel had just been attacked on October 7th and I was in the middle of handling an international crisis."

Biden will also claiming that Hur is a Trump appointee, so of course he's lying to make Biden look bad.

But they don't find that fully convincing:

So Biden's attorneys have a point: The report does seem written in such a way as to make Biden look bad. The problem for Biden is that it is very effective at it.

We are now in the very weird position of... having to argue that Biden's fine and that no one should invoke the 25th Amendment.

But maybe Bret Weinstein has a way out for us:

Yeah! It's "malinformation" to say that Biden is senile!

Google, FaceBook -- suppress and ban anyone claiming Biden is senile!

It's "malinformation"! Suppress it! Suppress it!

Oh -- and Hur is a Trump Hatchet Man! Do not believe this lying Rethuglikkan!!!

Carry this dying-brained husk all he way to the November election!!!

6 We already knew he had shared documents... and left them in a College Office that Chinese Nationals had access to.

So not just sharing them with Americans, but potentially sharing them with Communist Chinese.

Trump had TOLD the Government what he had, and where, AND kept them all locked up.

Much worse to SHARE classified info, than to just retain it IMO.

Ace, that's my argument right there. And it will work - at least with the media's cooperation. The thing about it, though, is that everyone will know that this is a lie. All Trump has to do is say that, and it will give everyone permission to acknowledge it.

89 Any of you Yahoos ever give serious consideration to this question?

With the plethora of documented steps that the opposition has been willing to go to negate Trump's re-election(many bordering on the ludicrous)...then....WHY EXACTLY WASN'T HE CHARGED WITH INSURRECTION?

Sure, there's no evidence supporting that particular indictment item. But, there is little to no evidence of those indictment charges that they DID institute. Charging him with insurrection in any capacity, no matter how ridiculous would have added weight to any state willing to try and remove him from the ballot (and there were many more than just Maine and Colorado). I suspect that there would have been filings in all 50 states by someone. At the very least it diminishes Trump's war chest.

We all understand how the Dem activists love to go full retard. Why didn't they do it this time?

93 So Biden's attorneys have a point: The report does seem written in such a way as to make Biden look bad. The problem for Biden is that it is very effective at it.

This is absurd. Only a muppet could say this with a straight face.

1. It's a report detailing misconduct. So, of course, it makes the actor look bad. An accurate description would do that.

2. The report is making an effort to preempt any kind of real liability/responsibility. It wouldn't be better for Biden if it did otherwise.

He did it in a backhanded way, "Biden is so senile that we couldn't convict him." What a load of BS. But we’ll hear a lot more of the same junk from the adjudicated rapist, fraudster, etc., with 91 current indictments.

It's Garland's fault. He didn’t need to appoint a special counsel, and he picked a right-wing Trumper. Biden has bent over backwards to be transparent and cooperate fully with the Justice Department investigation.

And his reward is getting hounded by a special counsel for a year who trashes him in a report as an elderly man with memory issues.

The worst mistake Biden has made as President was picking Merrick Garland as Attorney General. He's been harder on the Biden administration than Donald Trump.

Garland is terrified of Trump and MAGA. He literally has gone out of his way to comfort them.

The Middle Will Forget This By March 1st. I consider it a non-story.

Holy fvk, Biden's ridiculous statement:

The Special Counsel released today its findings about its look into my handling of classified documents. I was pleased to see they reached the conclusion I believed all along they would reach – that there would be no charges brought in this case and the matter is now closed.

This was an exhaustive investigation going back more than 40 years, even into the 1970s when I was a young Senator. I cooperated completely, threw up no roadblocks, and sought no delays. In fact, I was so determined to give the Special Counsel what they needed that I went forward with five hours of in-person interviews over two days on October 8th and 9th of last year, even though Israel had just been attacked on October 7th and I was in the middle of handling an international crisis. I just believed that’s what I owed the American people so they could know no charges would be brought and the matter closed.

Over my career in public service, I have always worked to protect America’s security. I take these issues seriously and no one has ever questioned that.

265 One last thing about the Steyn judgment - if you think you understand just how corrupt the current government is, take every thing you think you understand and double it. Maybe triple it, and you'll be closer.

Let's see ... If Biden really does plead Diminished Capacity, then we use the 25 Amendment to pop the Biden pimple ... and get Kammie. Oh joy.

If Biden says he "de-classified the material", then a bunch of charges against Trump re. Mar-a-Largo turn into a colon dump.

If this can be dragged out until after the election (implicitly, Kammie is not on the ticket), then finishing up a 25th Amendment action at 11:59:59PM the day before the Inauguration might sound good to me. It depends on who the second banana is if Biden somehow wins.

281 I remember looking into the 25th amendment process seriously back when everyone started talking about it under Trump. First, it's actually a lot easier to Impeach a President than it is to use the 25th. Second, the Vice President has to spearhead the whole thing. If the VP isn't leading it, it just ain't gonna happen.
