I just wait until the car needs new rocker panels and fenders, and while I've got it torn apart, i give the interior a little once over.

I remember those days, as I worked part time at a car wash when I was 16. I pumped gas at four pumps, and wrote tickets. Then the car went off to two guys who vacuumed the interior, then two more who cleaned the tires, then onto the assembly line. Then about four to six guys were waiting at the end to clean the interior windows and dry the outside. On a good winters day after a snowfall and everyone wanted the salt off their car we'd do a thousand cars with ease. A line would snake up the highway a quarter mile.

I earned my minimum wage, and a few dollars in tips. Buncha my fellow high school friends worked there too. Saving for college. What a concept.

38 I seriously do need to clean out my car-- it's so cluttered!

Between working at Dad's house and just generally hauling stuff back and forth, it's quite a mess.

Not 'dirty' but just a disorganized mess.

39 We've got two within 4 miles. Guatemalans with the towels and vacs and spray bottles. Very sweet guys, do a good job.

Did you know a tunnel wash has video cameras both sides every couple feet all the way through? This, so the woman with the Lambo can't blame the mirror ding on the equipment.

They say let's see your receipt, which has a date and time, they roll the video (these keep a one week history), and examine it with you watching too. Right up close, you see the car moving slowly through.

How do I know? I have a German plate on my front, dates way back to my first good German car, affixed with special outdoor HD velcro to a mount. Lost it at camera 22, right where the big blowers begin. It was between the tracks.

40 There's always well deserved complaints about all types of service here. One of the bright spots I have in my dull life is drop off laundry. I go to this family owned laundromat. Mother and daughter do the drop off. They see me pull in, knowing I'm a bit crippled up, and come out to the car and get it and the cash with a healthy tip. Bring it out when I pick it up. Hell, even the pocket tees are folded like shirts in a high end men's store. They wouldn't take my money on Veterans Day.

41 I clean my car fairly often (like every week or so). Armor All the plastics and vacuum the junk outta the floor mats and off the seats. It gets washed probably once a month. By hand. At the same time the scooter gets a bath.

The wife's car has a protective layer of trash and gets washed when she has time to sit through line at the car wash. She bitches when I clean it out because I bring in her shoes and jackets, and whatever else she left in there from the last time I cleaned it out.

The typical off-air sequence was to play the start spangled banner, white noise, color bars, then Indian Head Pattern to calibrate the cameras for the day.

116 Re-analysis of the Pfizer trial data identified statistically significant increases in serious adverse events (SAEs) in the vaccine group. Numerous SAEs were identified following the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), including death, cancer, cardiac events, and various autoimmune, hematological, reproductive, and neurological disorders. Furthermore, these products never underwent adequate safety and toxicological testing in accordance with previously established scientific standards. Among the other major topics addressed in this narrative review are the published analyses of serious harms to humans, quality control issues and process-related impurities, mechanisms underlying adverse events (AEs), the immunologic basis for vaccine inefficacy, and concerning mortality trends based on the registrational trial data.

Posted by: Thomas Bender at February 04, 2024 08:28 AM (XV/Pl)

164 Conclusion

Since early 2021, excess deaths, cardiac events, strokes, and other SAEs have often been wrongly ascribed to COVID-19 rather than to the COVID-19 mRNA vaccinations.
Misattribution of SAEs to COVID-19 often may be due to the amplification of adverse effects when mRNA injections are followed by SARS-CoV-2 subvariant infection. Injuries from the mRNA products overlap with both PACS and severe acute COVID-19 illness, often obscuring the vaccines’ etiologic contributions.

I went into the convenience store and there was a customer saying to the friendly cashier-"Everyday you're still walking and talking is a good day" and she responded to him, "And yes, it's a beautiful day and everyday we can thank God for something." On my way out I met a man who goes to a local church and he told me about their ministry effort to give out clothes to people who needed them.

Then I went to the market and we were buying a hyacinth for the church. The cashier there said "It smells so pretty."
It's amazing how smelling a beautiful flower or having a nice conversation and see people smiling improves one's day. Thanks, God!

I have a question for you. I have been talking to a man who's interested in Judaism. I don't know if he'd talk to a rabbi; He's not really into organized religion. Anyway, can you recommend some books by rabbis that are into celebrating God's blessings in daily life?. I thought of the Hassidic movement, but I am really not familiar with those authors.
Thanks.

Purchased a Cuisinart "Griddler' this week, mainly for breakfast meals but it makes some tasty panini (Cuban) sandwiches too. Had meatball sandwiches last night and finished by toasting the rolls to a slight crisp.

I can load it up with three eggs, two pancakes, sausage, and bacon all at once. One side grill, the other side griddle. Or both grill, or both griddle. For under a hundred bucks it's gonna get a lot of use. Cooking and clean up is a breeze with the non-stick surface.

180 >>Misattribution of SAEs to COVID-19 often may be due to the amplification of adverse effects when mRNA injections are followed by SARS-CoV-2 subvariant infection. Injuries from the mRNA products overlap with both PACS and severe acute COVID-19 illness, often obscuring the vaccines’ etiologic contribution

I highly recommend watching the Tucker interview with Bret Weinstein linked in the sidebar. IrishEi sent it to me a couple days ago and it is excellent if depressing.

It's a long interview and mainly focused on the purposeful invasion of our country which Weinstein makes a great case for but the last bit is about the vaccines. He makes a very compelling case for the real reason they were pushed so hard.

192 " But Lincon did not start tie war because of slavery and he actually said so many times." Posted by: vic

idk all the details, but Lincoln was probably influenced by those around him, and BigMoney, even in the day. Many say he was serving "BigRailroad", but certainly the monied northern interests had his ear.

Seems he could have prevented war by giving the south a better deal on tariffs and such, but that was not on the table I guess. After the war I think he also thought of sending the slaves back to Africa ... which would have changed history ... again.

I mean, not the warming, but all the efforts to change our culture and economy over the BS global warming crap ... that has destroyed a lot of lives (and made the oligarchs richer, while harming "The West")

204 Great Summary of Mills Trident:

If you are wrong, freedom of speech is essential to allow people to correct you.

If you are partially wrong, free speech and contrary viewpoints will help you get even closer to the truth.

If you are 100% correct (which is unlikely) you still need free speech for dissent, disagreement, and attempts to disprove you, both to check your arguments and to strengthen them.

SNL and the late night shows have stopped being about comedy and become the way the DNC reaches LIVs. SNL uses its cold open to interpret the latest political news for the LIVs so they know who to hate and mock. Seriously.
