Horndawg Clinton's reputation ought to take a hit. Amid a long-standing conflict over whether former President Bill Clinton visited alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, a new report indicates that Clinton will be named in an upcoming release of court filings related to Epstein. Multiple reports have indicated that Clinton flew on Epstein’s private jet, which has garnered the media nickname of the “Lolita Express” due to the allegations of trafficking underage girls on it. That eventually ended up with Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell being convicted on sex trafficking charges. Epstein died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial. His death was ruled a suicide. During her trial, pilot Larry Visoski said that during the years he flew Epstein’s private jet, Bill Clinton was indeed a passenger, according to The Associated Press.I wager that friend & fellow Cob J.J. As millions head out for holiday happenings, even the most well-prepared electric vehicle (EV) operators could find themselves snagged, ensnaring other road warriors in Christmas chaos. Pushing the green agenda, President Joe Biden and others of the “build back better” fandom have readily latched onto opportunities to force the transition from reliable gas-powered vehicles to EVs ahead of establishing an infrastructure to support them. Now with the American Automobile Association predicting the second-busiest Christmas travel period since 2000, warning bells are ringing for EV owners and potential renters about what woes they might run into that traditional drivers won’t face. According to AAA, more than 115 million Americans are expected to be traveling, and roughly 104 million will be on the road between Dec. 23 and Jan. 1 driving to destinations at least 50 miles away from their homes. An EV driver herself, Axios reporter Joann Muller spoke to the challenges of “Getting over the river and through the woods” that could be faced, in particular when traveling to colder climes. Part of the fun is spotting actors (and dredging up their names, a la "Trivial Pursuit") who have appeared in other TV shows or movies of the Sixties and Seventies. "To Serve Man" features at least four actors who appeared on The Man From U.N.C.L.E., for instance. The current one, "The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street," has both Claude Akins and Jack Weston, later to be MfU guest stars. There is a nice astronomical coincidence that happens right at midnight, the start of the new year, current epoch. Sirius, Alpha Canis Majoris (the Alpha Big Dog) and brightest star in the sky, is almost exactly opposite the sun to within a couple of minutes of time anywhere on the planet. Sirius "high noon" will occur at exactly local apparent solar midnight. So, when you see Sirius directly overhead, at its highest, the sun is directly under your feet. Here that occurs at 12:33AM EST, which is just 2 minutes after true solar midnight. Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley (Mzdiz) at December 31, 2023 10:07 PM (Mzdiz) 45

LJ gave us a photo of a guy, and asked us all to take our time, and study it carefully. As LJ informed us, the guy had been following Zappa on that tour, the FBI considered him armed and dangerous, another Mark David Chapman/John Lennon situation. Off and on. Some of them are definitely better than others, but I'd say Rod Serling was a great creator of smart entertainment. He died too soon.
Posted by: Blonde Morticia's phone at December 31, 2023 *** Not all of the memorable gems of TZ's run were from his typewriter alone. He got superb scripts from people like Richard Matheson (who *really* understood how to create tension in fiction or on film), Charles Beaumont, and Earl Hamner Jr. (later the creator of The Waltons). Plus George Clayton Johnson and Jerome Bixby, who later wrote for Trek. And Serling often adapted print short stories as well -- the famous "To Serve Man" is from a story by Damon Knight. Maxwell's father was a very high level Mossad asset. He somehow managed to fall off his mega yacht in the middle of the night and drown. Sure. They are releasing the records of virtually everyone who flew to Epstein's island, including if reports are accurate Bill Clinton, so obviously killing him didn't solve that problem. The Mo Court of Appeals decision regarding the McCloskeys isn't quite as bad as it sounds.
First, the decision only related to the McCloskeys getting their firearms back, not to the convictions for which they were pardoned. Bear in mind, the McCloskeys weren't exactly the Martin Luthers of the Second Amendment: they pled GUILTY. A majority of the judges on the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District, who decided the case, were Republicans, appointed by very conservative MO GOP governors. The McCloskeys can still appeal the decision (regarding forfeiture of their firearms) to the MO Supreme Court if they want to, which is REALLY, REALLY conservative. I always thought the McCloskeys, liberal tort lawyers before they got famous, were kind of chickenzh*t imposters. Btw, the protesters were at the McCloskeys' house because they were looking for Mayor Lyda Crewson's house, but... they got the wrong address. Instead of confronting them with firearms, just telling those idiots, "You got the wrong house!" might've resolved the problem. The protesters didn't know the McCloskeys from Adam. Hey, if they had mwn whispering in their ear, they may have done just that. You weren't there, so, this is your fault. Hey, here's an extract from the Missouri code on pardons.... A pardon will restore firearms privileges. Expungement (sealing) pursuant to Mo. Rev. Stat. § 610.140, also restores firearms rights. See infra, Part II. In 2021 a phrase was added to this section purporting to confirm that “[F]or purposes of 18 U.S.C. 921(a)33(B)(ii) [loss of firearms rights on conviction of domestic violence], an order or expungement granted pursuant to this section shall be considered a complete removal of all effects of the expunged conviction.” See SB 53. Epstein ran a hedge fund, not publicly traded, & that's how he made his money. From what I've read, he was a "closet indexer" who merely invested in the S&P 500. Not exactly a great. original Wall Street innovator.
Because the S&P 500 did very well during the time that Epstein was running his hedge fund, his investors were happy as hogs in zh*t. Have in the stash a VF-2SS/SAP along with a VF-1A/S Super Strike and a VF-25F/S Messiah w/Strike package. ===== Those are some awesome kits. You have an eye for the quality! Yes, I watched it on YouTube, despite the fact I have 2 DVD copies. Yes, Windaria is on YouTube. No, I'm not watching it again. I think I'll get the basic BR for Macross II, that much will be good enough. Posted by: exdem13 at January 01, 2024 12:00 AM (W+kMI) 350

>>Epstein ran a hedge fund, not publicly traded, & that's how he made his money. From what I've read, he was a "closet indexer" who merely invested in the S&P 500. Not exactly a great. original Wall Street innovator.
The hedge fund community is pretty small. They all know each other and do deals together. Try and find anyone in that community who has any memory of doing any trades with Epstein. >>Kass was well-connected on Wall Street, where he’d worked for decades, so he began to ask around. “I went to my institutional brokers, to their trading desks and asked if they ever traded with him. OK, culinary experience to follow.
Santa brought us an air fryer. Great! I can hardly wait to try it out. Something simple, like French fries. The first batch came out OK but I failed to preheat the thing, so a little soggy, still edible. Tonight I preheated the unit, then added the potatoes, sprayed with oil and salted. Within minutes it tripped my circuit breakers. Everything in the kitchen was without power. It draws 1550 watts. This is testing the limits of my 1949 electrical standards, tho' upgraded to my 20 amp circuit board. I dunno whether to send it back. I like what it does but it's possible my present wiring is inadequate. A quick trip to the circuit board reset has everything back to normal but I can't expect the same outcome every time I use the thing. So have we talked about there being no paperwork associated with the Georgia election "audits" and how the only paperwork was created when the FOIA request was filed, eight months after the audits were supposed to have been performed, and the final report was created by the CEO of the company on that date?
"Investigative journalist Kevin Moncla of the Election Oversight Group, and another individual began to send Open Records Requests from the counties that were allegedly “audited” back in 2022. While Raffensperger’s statement says there were six counties “audited,” the Pro V&V memo only listed four: Floyd County (Rome, GA), Douglas County (Douglasville, GA), Paulding County (Dallas, GA), and Cobb County (Marietta, GA). The record requests asked for communications between the Secretary of State, the State Board of Elections, and Pro V&V, among other things. The results were surprising. Not one county had records affirming, or even suggesting, that Pro V&V did an audit of their equipment." http://tinyurl.com/ynlb4g42 Posted by: Nikki Haley knows without a doubt that superpower FSU deserved to be in the playoffs at January 01, 2024 12:36 AM (kIrFD) 483

The 80s are ringing you and want your understanding of finance - +1 I don't think there was the same level of bot-driven algorithm trading and crashing the market for normal people back then. It was done the old fashioned way, which is crude and vulgar. "Traders soured on tech stocks" a few years ago my foot. Not one normal person didn't want tech stocks to succeed. Some robot made a decision and set off the other robots, and normal people lost a whole lot of money. See you all later, I'm getting in a very Auld Lang Syne state of mind. I just carried my 93 yr old mother back home up the driveway. She heard my going on about Sirius being directly overhead (well, transit, highest point in the sky) and wanted to see it. I had to carefully hold her so she could look up without falling. And then I got to remembering Auld Lang Syne.... My father didn't make it quite this last lap around Sol. There are memories I have that now exist only in my own mind. There are memories I have that now exist only in my own mind. Everyone else is gone who experienced them with me. This is something of which I have become increasingly aware, or things similar to it. I posted a couple of photos from the late 60s and early 70s on social media this past year. In one case, I had written down the names of those in the photograph and the events in which they competed for junior high school track and field. Folks were impressed by my recall. I said that, had I not written down the information back in the day, I'd not have known but five or six of those pictured, and not a thing about in which events they had competed. My niece was once on a tour of haunted houses in NOLA; she'll never do it again. All she remembers was at one house (where I think the owners did horrible experiments to their slaves) was one moment standing on one side of the street, the next on the grass in front of the house. Other folks there told her she slowely walked across the roadway... Huddled up and formulated Our Plan to meet up @ designated spot at (I don't remember) particular time, for trip back to Pensacola. 2 of the guys didn't make the meetup time, but we waited an extra hour. Still no-show. We took off, got lost somehow, ended up in a fleabag hotel. Middle of the night, some a-hole(s) opened our room's door with a (likely stolen) key and we all bolted upright, yelling. LOL, would-be thieves/druggies or whatever took off... and we packed up quickly & hit the road for home right then. Ugh. Somehow-- our 2 lost dudes hitch-hiked back, in time for muster. The Chinese zodiac marks the start of a new cycle with the Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival, when one animal gives way to another. On February 10, 2024, the Year of the Dragon begins.
The Dragon is a powerful and auspicious creature in Chinese mythology, representing courage, creativity, and innovation. 2024 promises to be a year full of possibilities and opportunities. 710: probably wouldn't get that far. Death from radiation exposure, starvation, lack of water, etc. would kill them first. But, you'd get a shot to bang Elizabeth Montgomery, so a win.

Japan
Enter the Dragon A fire-breather takes center stage in 2024, which will be the Year of the Dragon according to the 12-year cycle of zodiacal animals, known in Japanese as eto. The only imaginary creature in the zodiac dozen, it will be a regular sight on themed displays, nengajō cards, and calendars that are common sights across the country from December into the new year. ... it looks like archive is has been bought by FOX which means no joy from search the Japanese are more religious about the dragon than the Chinese not so much hocus pokus Posted by: Braenyard at January 01, 2024 03:23 AM (HO/bY) 716

Oh, and forgot to mention - you've got the wrong date too. This is Year 4722. Or it will be in what you call February.

For the record, I was born in the Year of the Dog. Check out what my boy Mencius says about it.

Okay, now I'm reading up on the Chinese luni-solar calendar system. New year begins on the date of the second new moon after the winter solstice. Unless it's an extra leap month added, which begins on the 3rd new moo -- still looking that up. I was looking at some things about that, and said that can't be right, then realized I was think in full moons, not new moons.... Anyway, astronomical observation determines this, I see. It's not a calculated formula that will drift over time. Posted by: publius, Rascally Mr. Miley (Mzdiz) at January 01, 2024 03:32 AM (Mzdiz) 721
m, that's a classic, most singers don't do the intro chorus to songs anymore and most new songs don't have them.

My take is that Tucker's a snake who makes false equivocations under the guise of 'principled isolationism' whilst happily visiting Spain and Hungary to get involved in local politics.
His position doesn't stand up to the mildest scrutiny and would clearly lead to a much worse future not just for America but the entire world. On top of that, he giggles like a lunatic girl. Shapiro, to my knowledge hasn't asked any Americans to die for Israel. Unlike what the Black Narcissus said, he hasn't been over-the-top with his position. It isn't unreasonable to believe that the moral position is to support Israel. Personally, I don't think that it's unreasonable for America, who expect a lot and have extracted a lot from their allies, to support valuable friends with weapons, intelligence and relatively low-risk policing operations.
