Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Daily Wire and Federalist Join Texas' Lawsuit Against the Federal Government, Alleging They Fund Illegal Agencies Whose Goals Are to Bankrupt Conservative Media CompaniesYeah, so, a lot of us are going bankrupt thanks to these bastards. They have created an official government-sanctioned advertiser blacklist. The Deep State and the left-wing legacy media have decided that the only outlets advertisers will be approved to pay money to are, get this, left-wing legacy media outlets that support the Deep State.Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro opened his show Wednesday morning by announcing a lawsuit filed by his company along with The Federalist and the state of Texas against the U.S. State Department over its censorship effort. The Daily Wire, conservative news outlet The Federalist, and the state of Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday night against Biden's State Department alleging that the government agency funded censorship technology designed to bankrupt conservative media outlets. The lawsuit says the case is "one of the most audacious, manipulative, secretive, and gravest abuses of power and infringements of First Amendment rights by the federal government in American history." "The U.S. State Department is funding the development, testing, and marketing of censorship technology used to suppress First Amendment-protected activity by American media outlets like The Daily Wire," Shapiro said on his show. "The State Department uses its Global Engagement Center (GEC) to finance the development and promotion of censorship technology and enterprises, including organizations like NewsGuard and the Global Disinformation Index." Founded in 2011 as the Center for Strategic Counterterrorism Communications, the GEC focused on countering foreign terrorist propaganda from groups such as Al Qaeda. It was renamed to the GEC in 2016 but continued to defend against terrorist propaganda. Congress even made clear that "none of the funds authorized" for the entity "shall be used for purposes other than countering foreign propaganda." Nonetheless, GEC turned its focus on Americans, the complaint alleges, using taxpayer funds to finance the development and promotion of censorship organizations such as NewsGuard and the Global Disinformation Index (GDI), which regularly target conservative media outlets such as The Daily Wire and The Federalist with the stated goal of limiting ad revenue. "Their goal is to paint us as unreliable and therefore to push advertisers away from advertising on programs like this one, websites like The Daily Wire, websites like the Federalist," Shapiro added. "That is being pushed by the State Department. That is an ongoing problem."

Well if you didn't want to get black listed by the government you should have just done what they wanted you to do.
Yet another day for Floyd Ferris: Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted -- and you create a nation of law-breakers -- and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with. Posted by: blaster at December 07, 2023 12:13 PM (dWjpk) 33

This is all tied to Obama's January 2017 action. This JUST came out. It's worth learning about, especially since no one is talking about it even though it's probably the most important thing that's happened to America since Pearl Harbor.
(how timely btw) "Another explains that while such activities overseas are "typically" done by "the CIA and NSA and the Department of Defense," censorship efforts "against Americans" have to be done using private partners because the government doesn't have the "legal authority." The whistleblower alleges that a leader of CTI League, a “former” British intelligence analyst, was “in the room” at the Obama White House in 2017 when she received the instructions to create a counter-disinformation project to stop a "repeat of 2016." https://tinyurl.com/ywry4xcl Posted by: Nikki Haley - No R candidates will discuss voter fraud because Trump said pussy at December 07, 2023 12:16 PM (+zy2u) Posted by: BignJames at December 07, 2023 12:16 PM (AwYPR) 53

The state tells them to censor, and they censor. (They also censor of their own accord, of course, but when Uncle Sam calls, they do as they're told). The penalty for this non-crime is that Trump may lose his entire business empire. I bet all of the NeverTrumpers would jizz all over themselves at the prospect of Trump being evicted from Mara Largo. The US government is funding censorship technology and encouraging its development within the enterprises that it then instructs to engage in censorship.
The former is immoral. The latter is illegal. There is plenty of evidence - the MO case is a good example - that the US government treats Big Tech as an adjunct. The state tells them to censor, and they censor. (They also censor of their own accord, of course, but when Uncle Sam calls, they do as they're told). The US government is not allowed to contract with (or even merely order) a private person or enterprise to do what it's forbidden to do itself. 24000+ Immigrants have been shipped to Chicago unannounced. Seven more unannounced busloads arrived today....journalists never disclose the causes of the problem, or that Chicago is being targeted while other cities are immigrant free...money has been appropriated for border states to handle immigrants.
Good, most of them want to go to Canada anyway. The U.S. is just in the way. Thanks for the ride. immigrants are being sent to sanctuary cities so they are not deported. These cities want the immigrants. This is a win win. The cities don't "want" the immigrants. Sanctuary cities simply mean they don't work with the INS. It doesn't mean they want 28,000 immigrants. That's a huge financial cost, and there has been a lot of pushback from Chicago-landers as a result. (Examples attached) The lawsuit claims META was showing s*xually explicit content to minors, child s*xual coercion, and the sale of child s*xual abuse material according to New Mexico attorney general Raúl Torrez. "Their goal is to paint us as unreliable and therefore to push advertisers away from advertising on programs like this one, websites like The Daily Wire, websites like the Federalist," Shapiro added. "That is being pushed by the State Department. That is an ongoing problem."
Back to basics. What's the cost to advertisers if they ignore NewsGuard and GDI metrics? It seems to me that the lawsuit is targeting the DoS - private-sector "disinformation monitoring" organizations, not the DoS itself. The lawsuit will likely depend on discovering documentation and whistleblowers to establish that the DoS knowingly supplied the tech for the purpose of censoring US companies. It comes down to advertisers evaluating whether it's more profitable to market products to disenfranchised market sectors or to go with the fascist flow. Advertising revenue is in the toilet Internet-wide. It's obviously worse for sites that aren't in leftist lockstep, but it's bad even for YouTube. 80 I'm not sure I understand what this case is about. It seems to be about the government "funding the development, testing, and marketing of censorship technology." But I don't see allegations where the government is actually itself censoring anyone. The claims seem to be that the government is funding the development of tech that is then being used by others (private companies?) to censor. That's a harder claim to make than if the gov't itself was censoring. A leftwing judge wouldn't give this case the time of day.

One of the reasons tungsten is a bad countertop material is that it is toxic. Tungsten countertops have to be sealed, and the sealant renewed periodically.
There was once a Frenchman who was prodded by his comrades into drinking wine through a gun barrel. He chugged down some wine through it, then started having seizures. He became the first known case of tungsten poisoning, and his case presented a serious challenge for diagnosis. Per the Lancet: During a party to celebrate his initiation into an artillery regiment, in September, 1994, a healthy 19-year-old white man drank 250 mL of wine which had flowed through the barrel of a 155 mm gun after several shots had been fired, as was the regimental custom. 15 min later he began to have seizures which lasted for 25 min until they were stopped by intravenous diazepam. ... I’m pretty sure that the leftist online advertising companies stop associating with conservative media. That media then has to go to other online advertising companies which are also leftists but only put up disgusting fake ads to get people to avoid conservative sites because nobody wants to see some chick scratching her butt or some “weird technique” involving smearing your body with sauerkraut.
Posted by: MAGA_Ken at December 07, 2023 01:00 PM (SLYB/) Yeah, but leftist advertising agencies and the leftist corporatists that hire them have only to look at AB and P'n'G 'n Target to see that the traditional wink-wink doesn't play well when informed citizens can raise holy hell on the bottom line. > Why is "DINK" becoming a thing again?
Toxic people on the internet have been calling themselves "ChildFree" for several years now. They go well beyond simply not having or wanting to have kids. They complain bitterly if they're inconvenienced in the slightest by anyone else's kids. They complain bitterly if anyone asks them if they want to have kids. They come up with all sorts of vile names for children like "crotch fruit." They are as bad as vegans when it comes to telling everyone how much amazing free time, extra money, and how great their child free life is. Some people online decided not to use their preferred nomenclature of ChildFree and instead resurrected the term, "DINK." Lots of people commented. That's why you're seeing "DINK" again.
