Treason: Biden White House Indicates It Will Hold Disaster Relief Aid for the US States of Florida and Hawaii Hostage Until Congress Authorizes More Billions for the Foreign Country of Ukraine

Specifically, Karine Jean-Pierre refused to say that the White House would allow aid to Florida and Hawaii to be "decoupled" from a bill to send more billions to Ukraine. In other words, they have to all pass together, or all fail together.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to say whether the administration will decouple hurricane relief funds to Florida from Ukraine aid during a Wednesday briefing.
"[Republican Florida] Sen. Rubio, whose state is recovering from [Hurricane] Idalia, says the $16 billion in additional disaster relief should be decoupled from the additional funding [sic] for Ukraine. Of course, that's part of their request which seems to be opposed by many Republicans. Is the administration willing to separate these requests and seek the FEMA disaster aid independently to ensure it gets to the hurricane victims [and] Hawaii wildfire victims as quickly as possible or do you see that these things have to be grouped together for the request?" a reporter asked Jean-Pierre.
"We are not going to get into hypotheticals here about decoupling anything at this time," Jean-Pierre said. "What we believe is that these are vital, important government programs that need to be funded, that Congress should act on, that has been done in a bipartisan way, and so that is what we are going to continue to do."

The CCP isn't too thrilled with their deal. They thought they were buying a government. They weren't. They were just buying the Bidens and a handful of others.

Ukraine will learn the same if the larger Uniparty loses confidence, if factions start using it as a bargaining chip (like they do with Red China), or if they otherwise lose intra-Party unity on the Ukraine issue. That is not likely - too much money is being made right now - but if it comes up, they will learn exactly how much buying Biden was worth. It isn't much.

there was a creepy story on Hot Air about how Hawaii routinely censors the press. They just have a code of silence about anything that reflects badly on the (Democrat-controlled) Hawaiian government.

That is over now. Russia - assholes though they always are, and combative as they always are, and uncooperative as they always are - was in the Western sphere after the fall of the USSR. Not fully - they were not an ally and often had flatly opposed goals and ambitions - but they were in the Western sphere nonetheless. The economic, industrial, etc. alignment was Western.

Not anymore. That is *over.* And since Russia needs external help - it is not strong enough to go it alone as a major power - it will now get it from the East. The opportunity cost of that is going to take decades to determine.

Russia has been very clear as to why they "invaded" Ukraine. Now, are they telling the truth? No, probably not. But neither is our government. And while I consider myself a student of history, and know a good amount about what goes on around the world, I don't have the time or energy to really try to "get to the bottom" of all of this. Because it really doesnt matter to me, an American.

The US funded a revolution to overthrow the government of Ukraine because the president was seen as too friendly to the ethnic Russians stranded in Ukraine after the fall of the USSR.

Ethnic Ukranians got emboldened and spend over 5 years fucking with and killing ethnic Russians, who begged for Russia to come and help. At the same time, the EU was making moves as well. It started with "contractors" and advisors helping people defend their land, and led to... here.

All of this was set in motion (purposely, I'd say), by the US government and our European allies.

The issue is ultimately what they believe in as an individual. Do they believe in traditional liberty, and The Bills of Rights? That's the more essential question.
