Biden Angrily Snaps at Reporter For Asking Him About Talking With Hunter Biden's "Business" Partners

Joe Biden's cover story is that previewed by the "mainstream" media and Dan "The New Adam Schiff" Goldman: Sure, he was talking with Hunter's "business" partners, or would-be partners, but not about business.

Just about the weather and "niceties!"

Note his objection to this "lousy" question is only about the content of their conversations, not about whether he had these conversations.

Karen Townsend at Hot Air points out that Devon Archer testified that the very presence of Joe Biden on the phone, and certainly at sit-down dinners, was used by Archer and Hunter to establish that they had juice and that Joe Biden was ready, willing, and eager to help out with their "business" partners' "business" troubles.

From the Daily Mail:

Archer did not claim to have ever heard Joe Biden discussing business but said Hunter would use his father as a flex -- and hearing the voice of the vice president on speed dial was enough to sell the 'brand' to foreign executives.

'I can definitively say at particular dinners or meetings, he knew there were business associates,' Archer told Fox News' Tucker Carlson last week in an interview following his testimony.

'I don't know if it was an orchestrated call in or not. It certainly was powerful, though, because, you know, if you're sitting with a foreign businessperson and you hear the vice president's voice, that's prize enough,' Archer went on.

'Sometimes it was the call was coming in and the speaker would go on,' Archer said, detailing the conversations. 'You understand D.C. right? So the power to have that access in that conversation -- it's not in a scheduled conference call and that's a part of your family. That's like the pinnacle of power in D.C.'

So you get a meeting with the prince, who offers to call the king (or the king-adjacent, at the time). Get him on the horn. Show that the prince is legit. So the prince calls him up and throws him on speakerphone.

Considering the first time I ever saw Biden I thought of a used car salesman (think Bill Paxton in True Lies- that's Joe Biden) it makes sense. You are selling influence and that is your goal. You are marketing the sale of that influence.

Unfortunately, Doocy did get a bit ahead of the evidence, so leftists are pouncing on that.

Doocy says the testimony was that Biden talked business. From Archer's testimony, that's a stretch. What Ace posted is correct. HB's big sell was being able to get the VPOTUS on the phone without any red tape.

Remember Trump having a hotel in DC was a huge scandal, where foreign leaders would stay as a bribe to Trump! (despite him losing millions ferrin ther hotel over 4 years) but Hunter working with actual adversaries is as on the up and up as it gets.

Again the number one question just needs to be, "What expertise did Hunter bring to these companies he was on the board of, or those foreign companies he partnered with?" Posted by: SH (But Prefer Clark Griswold) at August 10, 2023 01:16 PM (sX1BW)

It sure as hell matters.

The point is to get Biden to answer it.

Just like every liberal is asking every conservative "Did Trump win in 2020?" So that the candidate is on the record. You need to ask Biden so he needs to be on video stumbling around for a response.

Getting him to answer isn't about legally going after him for it, it's so that those who do care in the shifting middle ground of the electorate get to see what happens when he's put on the spot over his crime family.

Ford patents hint at EV charging while driving
https://tinyurl.com/38mvte8z

Ford is exploring patent technology that could allow EVs to charge while driving, using hardware embedded in the road.
...a Ford patent application titled “Roadway Charging Coil Alignment and Monitoring” aims to apply wireless inductive charging to vehicles in motion.
Wireless inductive charging uses coils mounted in a transmitter & a receiver mounted on the vehicle to transmit electricity wirelessly. Companies have developed wireless-charging systems based on this principle for stationary applications...Ford has filed a separate patent application for that use.
Ford discusses embedding inductive-charging coils in the road and using them to charge moving vehicles. This requires the receiver on the vehicle to be aligned with a line of coils in the road surface. Ford notes that drivers could maintain alignment by following lane markings, or be guided by a camera or other sensors designed to read lane markings.

The passengers, having seen Funt board the plane, assumed that it was all an elaborate "Candid Camera" gag, thoroughly confounding the hijackers by laughing at and, in one case, applauding their actions. After the incident, in which no one was hurt, the FAA offered to give Funt a citation for bravery. Funt turned it down, claiming that he was just a passenger like anyone else, and more nervous than anyone else because he knew the situation WASN'T a joke.

It is not the sale of access so much, it is the bribes to act against the interest of USA, and the follow through on the paid for action.

There are laws about family members of politicans taking gifts, and if it was deemed Hunter didn't bring anything to these companies, then there doesn't even need to be any bribes (which we know there was) for it to be considered a crime.

Doubly in top of that when it's foreign countries, and then actual foreign adversaries like Russia and China.

"Oh Let's Impeach Biden just because!" " Because we have nothing better to do with our tax payer salaries. Governing is too hard. " Democrats have a great message for 2024. "WE GET THINGS DONE!"

Fox had some Repub Congressman going on about Hunter's bank records and what they "must" mean about Joe. It was clear they have no proof of any wrongdoing on Joe's part. Like the song says, nothing but "hints and allegations."

At what point can Joe Biden sue for libel and/or slander? Congress has right to investigate, but spinning no facts or saying what Hunter did was a broader "Biden family" grift seems to be crossing a line. I have no issue if Hunter broke laws charge him and they have and he has owned it but this two mile wide brush of slander sucking in Joe has to be stopped.

Money creation in our fiat system is via loans issued by the banks. They loan it, take a profit from it via interest, and you sweat and work to make it mean something. if you can't you go Banko and what you can't cover by selling everything is written off the books.

interest rates is the only way to control the issuance since it controls the willingness for people and companies to enter into debt. You really gotta be sure you are going to make it if you go in for 15% loans, for example, and you have to be sure that you are going to pay off soon.
Under our system of money creation it is the only way to control and clear out after a business cycle collapse.

Honest answer? They don't want information getting out. It's really that simple. The propaganda war over there started from the start. There have never not been lies coming out of Ukraine. You might even say the propaganda war has been as vital to the Deep State's interest over there as all the billions of dollars and weapons we've been sending.

A lot of really bad things are going to have to happen to get even the best outcome. But your kids are probably screwed.

I'm not sure what you mean. What's causing the wheels to turn?

Electric cars currently have regenerative braking. Regenerative braking is clawing back a bit of that kinetic energy you're burning off when you hit the brakes. It still takes energy to come up to speed and maintain speed. Braking in this system is an inefficiency. Regenerative braking reduces that inefficiency slightly, but you don't get more energy out than you put in.

Security is the main reason the Ukrainian command does not embed reporters and does not allow video crews in the front lines or the army's rear areas, air bases, and naval facilities. This also enables the Ukrainian command to tell the press only what the command wants the press Media to know.

There's so much wrong there I don't know where to start. There's no such thing as a perfectly safe vaccine. IF there were such a thing, people would mostly get it. People would vaccinate their kids voluntarily in this case. For the vulnerable population, you could isolate them until they can be vaccinated.

514 I'm not sure what you mean.

Posted by: bonhomme at August 10, 2023 01:51 PM (0N1h0)

I know that much. And I am not talking about perpetual motion etc. But if there is no battery and the charge is drawn from the road, wouldn't that make it possible to extract energy from the wheels? Enough to reduce the draw from the ground? Once it is moving of course?

Not saying other problems aren't insurmountable. But the lack of a battery seems sig here.

I personally think the actual efficiency of regen braking is drastically over-rated. It's more of a virtue-signal for EV cult drones. A few extra micro-volts of charge ain't gonna move the needle when it takes 8+ hours to charge even at 220.

Posted by: Elric Blade at August 10, 2023 02:16 PM (iFTx/)

566 > if there is no battery and the charge is drawn from the road, wouldn't that make it possible to extract energy from the wheels? Enough to reduce the draw from the ground? Once it is moving of course?

No. Once the charge drawn from the road is converted to kinetic energy, that's the purest form of energy in the system, and the most efficient. Drawing from that kinetic energy to create a charge steals some of that energy.

On top of that, whatever system doing the conversion from kinetic to electric will have waste heat, waste e-mag energy, etc. So any system downstream of the energy transfer from the road to the ground is a tax on that road energy transfer. You could claw back a bit on a downhill or braking, but it costs more than you gather to go back uphill or speed up.

596 578 The topic of body count of potential partners comes up a lot on the Whatever podcast.

Generally the female guests - both THOTs and normal women - don't care.

Mostly the male guests do.

So the question of "can men have too much mileage as well" seems to be "no" from the female perspective. In this same context sometimes the THOTs will get in an argument that the men shouldn't care or even be allowed to care but...its never a winning argument TBH

Ironically, to many women a guy who has had many sex partners is seen as more desirable, especially if there is evidence that the other partners were themselves highly desirable. The quickest and easiest way to get a girl interested in you is when another girl is interested in you.

There are some other sources but all have to be counterchecked with other sources including 4chan/pol. Right now, pretty much stalemate but Russia is like Germany in WWI, they pretty much have the territory they want and Ukraine faces a very uphill battle to get it back that would essentially destroy Ukraine's army. So Ukraine is looking to hook in other countries because DC won't let Zelinsky quit and by now, the losses in Ukraine are large enough that Zelinsky won't survive deciding to quit himself.

The war has settled into a war of attrition and the politics of both countries have always been a bit opaque just like the Biden junta decisionmaking is here at home.

Always take casualty reports with a grain of salt. The truth is we simply don't know what Ukrainian casualties are and no one has tried to duplicate what the Brit newspapers did to get some estimate of Russian casualties.

The question is how much more casualties will the Russians have if they try to take the rest of Ukraine. A rule of thumb is about 3:1 ratio of assault to defense casualties. In the case of defense lines like in WWI, often it was up to 10:1.

Russia is simply holding pat right now and probably waiting for the West to decide the game is not worth it. But it is not a win by any means for Russia as the long term consequences of this outweigh the few benefits. No one wants to invest or build in disputed territories and most likely, you will get a ceasefire instead of a formal peace treaty.
