An FBI Whistleblower Confirms the Allegations from IRS Whistleblower Gary Shapley That David Weiss and Merrick Garland Covered-Up For Hunter Biden

You know everything you thought was true? Well, turns out, it was in fact true.

The former FBI supervisory agent in charge of the criminal investigation into first son Hunter Biden confirmed key details Monday of an alleged coverup described by IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley, the House Oversight Committee said.

The panel, led by chairman James Comer (R-Ky.), announced the deposition ahead of a Wednesday hearing at which Shapley and a yet-to-be-identified IRS subordinate will allege special treatment of the younger Biden in the investigation, which concluded last month in a probation-only plea deal.

"Today, our committee staff conducted a transcribed interview with a former FBI supervisory special agent assigned to the FBI's Wilmington office and the Biden criminal investigation," the Oversight Committee tweeted.

"The agent confirmed key portions of the IRS whistleblowers' testimony, including that both Secret Service headquarters and the Biden transition team were tipped off about the planned Hunter Biden interview. In fact, on the day of the Hunter Biden interview, federal agents were told to stand by and to not approach Hunter Biden -- they had to wait for his call."

"As a result of the change in plans, IRS and FBI criminal investigators never got to interview Hunter Biden as part of the investigation," the committee said.

Shapley already had confirmation of some of his allegations from an IRS subordinate.

Comer also says that the Bidens opened 20 shell corporations in order to launder and hide foreign money from the federal government.

The Biden family opened more than 20 shell companies to hide payments and launder money, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) said Sunday.

After reviewing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) at the Treasury and subpoenaing banks and individuals, Comer posted on Twitter that the Biden family created more than 20 entities to accept, forward, and collect payment from a wide range of business associates.

"We found all these shell companies that make absolutely no sense," Comer told Fox News. "I don't believe they have paid a penny of revenue, a penny of taxes on most of the millions of dollars they received from our adversaries around the world."

...

"How did they list this on their taxes?" Comer questioned. "Is it a service they provided?"

but the disruption in a 4th Turning usually redounds to the detriment of the power elite.

In terms of how elections will play out, only one of those is tied to it, the 2021 VA governor's election, and we've had ample evidence since that any advancement there was not indicative of much beyond the borders of VA. The "fortification" continued in AZ, PA, MI, and GA. How does Youngkin winning in VA mean that any Republican has a chance in any other state with massive electoral problems that have arguably all gotten worse, not better, since 2020?

Also, I definitely grant the SCOTUS decisions, but until elections are fixed, there's a deadline on how long those will last. If SCOTUS continues to ignore election cases, the people are denied their suffrage and refuse to do anything about it, then there is a date ahead of us where SCOTUS turns on us hard.

2024 is fucked. Anyone denying that is a fool. I don't know what will come after that. Maybe the people will demand change after ANOTHER stolen election. We'll see. But 2024? Nothing has happened to any of the mechanisms to make it more reflective of the will of the people.

Well, let's face it, Glenn Youngkin and Twitter as rays of Hope isn't going to inspire any ballads or fill stadiums. Investigations showing "real results" is a subjective measure. A lot of us would consider a result to be some sort of actual punishment or even change in the status quo. But at least there seems to be some discussion. Tucker's been Tucker for a while now. He's in between jobs still.

I'm talking about disillusion with the DEM pols by DEM voters.

DEMs always said GOP voters were too dumb to see through the obvious con the GOP pols were running on them. I thought they were right. But they weren't.

So, I expect DEM voters are just 5yrs behind us. Which sets their crack up about a year from now.

You're holding out for worse than Steiner, it's true. You're holding out for someone to come in the next 16 months to save America with the hoary cliche that it's an eternity in politics.

Sure. Oliver Cromwell could come and wipe away the stink of corruption in Parliament, but that stink lasted for a very long time before that happened.

I'm just talking about the next 16 months. Maybe SMOD will come, but odds are that all the changes to voting in key states in 2020, that were retrenched in 2022, will still be in place in 2024.

your definition of a police state is a lot different than mine then.

case in point: during the plandemic I never got arrested for going to churrch when the churrches were closed. I didn't get locked up or even charged with a misdemeanor when I refused the jabb at the same time the pResdient was calling me a killer...

I didn't even lose my job. My neighbors had a freaking block party during the lockdown and no SWAT team showed up to shut it down. (I'm in the Phillymetro, not Pennsyltucky)

A police state is more like Chynna, where people were welded into their homes.

Back in the Before Times, when SNL could be funny, they had a President Carter skit staged in the Oval Office. Lillian Carter, Jimmah's mom, was in it and wanted to find Billy. So she pulled a can of Billy Beer out of her big purse and popped the top. Billy came running in to the Oval Office. Billy was played by Gary Busey IIRC.

each turning lasts a generation, approx 20-23 years. The turnings do not obviate the existence of corruption, because human corruption is a fact of life , As is everything on earth, since everything eventually dies.

Mostly agree. But deciding it was a good idea to blame Trump while he is being indicted, again, over a made up crime by the corrupt Biden DOJ is really, really stupid.

He's in SC in front of a Republican primary crowd and he gets a hanging curve right over the middle and he pops out to the catcher.

Let me throw in the coming fiscal collapse. It's approaching like a slow moving freight train and it can't be stopped.

What happens on the other side cannot be predicted.

479 In defense of dimocraps -- They can't win fair and square. They HAVE to cheat. And lie. And steal. And lie some more. And steal.

It's the only way for them to acquire power.

What I don't understand, never have, never will is -- How incredibly stoopid do you have to be to vote for one?

Sure, I can see it in your 20's. And for the mentally retarded, maybe as late as mid-thirties. But after that?

There's just something terribly wrong with people that vote for democraps.

480 I took a sabbatical from reading "conservative" sites for the last year or so. It was all just too depressing and seemed like there was no possibility of rule of law returning to America.

But, I've been doing some reading lately. I'm left with a question - does anyone here consider HotAir a conservative site? I note that most of what I read there is the kind of generic "we're all friends here", and "support the GOP when it engages in failure theater" type of deep-state loving nonsense. Is that just me? To me, Ed Morissey is the worst kind of fake conservative, always trying to sell conservatives on accepting leftists gains and pushing people like Romney as "great" conservatives.
