RUPERT MURDOCH FIRED TUCKER CARLSON HIMSELF, REPORTEDLY "CONCERNED" ABOUT TUCKER'S REPORTAGE ON JANUARY 6TH HOAX
PLUS: RAY EPPS CLAIMS HE'S NOT A FED ON 60 MINUTES

It has long been suspected that Tucker Carlson was told to stop reporting on the January 6th video. He hyped up the video, covered it for one night, and then stopped without explanation.

Although the theory that Fox News threatened him to make him stop has never been proven, circumstances sure are suggestive.

Now we have evidence Fox censored Tucker's reporting on January 6th:Rupert Murdoch made the call to fire Tucker, and was also, coincidentally, "concerned" about Carlson's reportage of the J6 Insurrection, which costs millions of lives and one AOC.

Yashar Ali
@yashar

NEWS

Rupert Murdoch made the decision to fire Tucker Carlson.

Murdoch is said to be concerned over Carlson's coverage of January 6 including conspiracy theories about government agents being involved.

Here's that article that he's referencing.

A Fox News representative had no other details on Carlson's exit. People familiar with the situation who were not authorized to comment publicly said the decision to fire Carlson came straight from Fox Corp. Chairman Rupert Murdoch.

Carlson's exit is related to the discrimination lawsuit filed by Abby Grossberg, the producer fired by the network last month, the people said.

Murdoch is also said to be concerned over Carlson's coverage of the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, in which the host has promoted the conspiracy theory that it was provoked by government agents.

Here's that Abby Grossberg lawsuit, which smells fruitily of cowflop.

Goodbye, Fox. You will die alone and unloved and unremembered.

Very related: Ray Epps went on 60 Minutes to claim he's not a fed agent provocateur, and also, to not answer any of the questions about why he bragged about "orchestrating" the J6 riots.

Btw, the notion that Erick Erickson or Ben Shapiro could replace Carlson is idiotic. Erickson is wobbly at best, and always has his eyes open for the main chance (i.e., getting on board with some outfit in the mainstream media), and even if I agreed with everything Shapiro says (which I don't), I can't take him seriously as host of a news and commentary show now that Ryan Long's satirical version of the guy (from the Fresh Prince of DC series) is permanently fixed in my brain.

The "60 minutes" appearance is par for the course. It's part of the standard playbook. First, the State/Party Complex ignores a controversy or suspicion. If that fails, they deny whatever it is. If that fails, they go on "60 Minutes" to lay out the official party-line lie.

People like Carlson are a reason that they got to step three at *all* on this one.

There are a lot of rumors swirling about. Will be interesting to see if we ever get the truth. DU has all sorts of explanations:

LA Times - Carlson fired on Murdoch's orders over discrimination suit. Abby Grossberg, a producer who formerly worked on Carlson’s show, filed a suit saying that lawyers for the network “coached” and “intimidated” her into giving misleading testimony in the lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems. She also alleged a culture of sexism and misogyny at the network, and that executives tried to blame her and host Maria Bartiromo for the airing of 2020 election conspiracy theories.

93 69 So Ray Epps claims he's not a "fed." But nobody ever seriously claimed he was an actual FBI agent or an actual employee of the FBI, did they? The claim was always that he was an FBI stooge or CI. Epps seems to be making a very narrow denial on a point that's not seriously in dispute, in order to avoid having to make a statement on the real question of what his role with the FBI was. "I did not have sex with that woman."

A lot of people call him a fed. He probably is a fed. Whether literally - as in, "an FBI agent" or similar - or just de facto, it doesn't really matter. Most people aren't all that nuanced with language. A fed is a fed. Agent, stooge, informant, whatever.

Yes, I understand. But my point is that he seems to be adopting the narrow "actually an FBI agent" definition to be able to deny it. Has he ever denied accepting any money or other compensation from the FBI? Has he ever denied having a contact at the FBI?

The denial is more carefully worded than that. Ray Epps says he's not "FBI", and the FBI has said that the Epps did not work for "the FBI".

Alternatively, the FBI could have pulled a Fauci and funded Epps through some private "security firm", in order to maintain deniability.

Three-B is in a different category. Sure they're woke and stupid, but that is the least of their problems. Retail is going to have plenty of big-time failures. "Does Tucker now take the J6 tapes to his new gig, or do the tapes stay behind at Fox? Meh, they played that cycle until it petered, so maybe doesn't matter."

I think the tapes play a big role in this. The tape that received air time that had the crazy costume guy (who received 4 years, incidentally) walking around calmly and actually, politely thanking the police, IMHO anyway, was devastating to the narrative.

If there was more of this, and if this had perhaps been the tip of the iceberg, there was no way the junta/regime/deep state/uniparty/establishment could allow the remainder to be aired.

Hoping Tucker has the tapes and makes hay with them.

Fuck all.

All shareholders owning more than 2% of News Corp:
1. Insiders: 40.2%
2. Independent Franchise Partners: 6.47%
3. SOF:: 5.06%
4. Blackrock: 3.59%
5. Irenic Capital Management: 2.06%
6. Vanguard Group: 2.51%
7. State Street: 2.32%

That's 62.21% right there, mostly held by the Murdoch family and its cut-outs. The rest are major investment banks, including all of the usual party playthings that represent so-called "Woke Capital."

350 YouTube is working on shutting DW and other conservative outlets down.
----------------

I believe this. Throughout the Summer of 2019, coincidentally right before the Coof Op and the Fake Election Op, "news" sites practically in unison began shutting down their (often local) independent comment sections. By the hundreds and thousands. I thought it strange at the time, but looking back, way too coincidental.

Now we are gearing up for another Fake Election that will be even worse than the last Fake Election and fuck knows what other Horrifying Ops await, so it makes sense there will be another sweep of the internet that rather suddenly removes another layer of independent individual voices.

Doing it on a four year cycle like this makes a lot of sense from a strategic perspective.

Zaxby’s is great with the best sauce. The Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich is the best chicken sandwich on the market.

Bojangles is still preferable due to having bone-in chicken with a larger variety of generally good sides like the previously mention dirty rice.

The thing about CFA is it has a very limited menu and I’m sure that is half the reason they are so efficient.

Don Lemon got fired because nobody watched him.

Tucker Carlson got fired because everybody watched him.

Posted by: Citizen Cake the Red at April 24, 2023 03:16 PM (CwhoI)

357 Tucker Carlson has the name recognition and brand that could serve as the nucleus of a great online news network. Instead of joining one of the other (lame) conservative news networks like Newsman, he could easily start his own and run it his way. And instead of sharing the profits with an unappreciative and begrudging network, they'd go in his own pocket or for reinvestment. In a year or so his ratings will dwarf Fox News's.

Btw, there's a battle Royale over sponsors behind the scenes most people aren't aware of. The left has been relentlessly demonizing Fox News to big corporate advertisers because of Tucker. Now that FNC dumped him, they may be able to attract more big corporate sponsors. Fewer MyPillow ads, more Bud Light ads. This is undoubtedly one factor behind their calculation.

Considering how little time has passed since that whole thing blew up, that is huge. Bud Light sells to distributors, not retailers. Distributors would have a varying ton of stock on hand at any given moment. It's not like they all used to call Bud Light for a new massive shipment to their warehouse on a weekly basis. There are plenty of distributors whose last order took place just before the controversy that wouldn't be expected to have placed any new orders yet by the time that 17% number was calculated. Give it a few more weeks and you'll see that number climb a whole lot.

I didn't see it. It doesn't matter.

This disaster is going to nuke their DEI score no matter what. The Mulvaney operation is over within InBev. That alone will send the precious DEI score into the sub-basement. At this point, they'd probably be better off going hard in the other direction. Publicly fire everyone involved. Repudiate the entire operation. Have the CEO make a commercial apologizing for wading into the culture war and supporting the trans movement. Lay out a three or five-step plan to ensure no further wokeness ever occurs at InBev.

Yes, the Woke Capital will vanish. Who cares? The Woke Capital firms are going to punish InBev regardless, now.

Tyrus parading around with that stupid wrestling belt over his shoulder? Martha Mcallam acting like Doris Day? The early morning show three who quack about potato salad recipes and clap like seals at lame country western acts? And for the sake of the children, I'm just going to skip over Hannity.

We have a few of them here in northeastern MD. Can't argue with your assessment. The only thing I'll add is they serve everything on what I call "headache bread". It's got a tough, almost leathery exterior. Requires vise grip style jaw strength to bite into, then you have to use even more jaw strength to complete the bite. I can't eat there without getting a headache and feeling like my jaw needs the equivalent of a 4-wheel alignment!

Let's see them go down and stay down 20+% over a period of months.
