Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report — 12/26/22![]() Readers who might be worrying about what could go wrong with dimming the sun or mimicking a cataclysmic volcanic eruption should recall that Schwab and Malleret wrote their Great Reset book months before Joe Biden publicly acknowledged that the coronavirus epidemic might have originated in a Chinese lab. When one recalls that the 1977 H1N1 pandemic that killed seven hundred thousand people in Central Asia probably resulted from another Chinese lab accident, there exists the possibility that science itself might be a source of a catastrophe. If scientists who meant well accidentally killed seven hundred thousand people, then our confidence in science cannot be absolute because when it comes to complex systems—as Schwab and Malleret themselves have noted—minor errors can have huge consequences. Our ability to predict what viruses and dimming the sun will do is limited. . . . . . Most people are familiar with the philosophical distinction between ends and means. Because extreme ends impel extreme means, communities are usually careful about declaring the equivalent of war. War justifies actions that would never be countenanced in peace. If you are really out to save the planet, then dimming the sun is a reasonable risk. Can we get such imperative ends from science? It may come as a shock to a generation taught to equate science with progress that it is silent on intrinsic values. Science will equally make an electric toaster or an electric chair. Science itself doesn’t care whether humanity survives or not. It concerns itself with anticipating the outcomes consequent to certain physical arrangements. The moral values of those outcomes must be supplied from elsewhere.Do the leaders of the Global Reset Axis of Evil actually believe their own press releases or is it just the greatest swindle of all time? Does it really matter? In the end, it's the nearly eight billion of us who will be forced to endure brutish existences only to wind up in an early grave. If we're lucky. Yet, for every Al Gore rubbing his hands in glee as he anticipates potential billions in carbon offsets, there is some Earth Liberation Front psycho drooling at the prospect of crashing birth rates and the starvation of billions of people, dreaming of a humanity-free planet. Some just can't wait; ergo the vandalized power stations and quite possibly the food processing plants. On a not necessarily unrelated note, there is pushback. Whatever rigged outcomes happened with the elections, people are voting with their feet. A "reset" of sorts, if you will. The destruction and uncertainty we are enduring now, and will likely have to endure for some time into the future may very well have unintended consequences that redound on our oppressors and tormenters in ways that they had not fully anticipated. As Steve Miller once sang, "You've got to go through Hell before you get to Heaven." Of course, as Winston Churchill is thought to have stated, "If you're going through Hell, keep going."

That prof died, but Gore said that guy had gone senile, that is why he rejected it. Pure fraud from the moment Gore stole it. But as with so much, it had some "real science" at the start, but did not go through the Scientific Method. Now AGW (in effect and practice) is law. Congress can pass all the laws it wants to in December. The IRS needs time to enact methods and procedures to enforce them. The Christmas holiday is hardly the time to start.
Posted by: Divide by Zero -------------- The law was passed in 2021. It was Biden's "America Rescue (ha) Act" They've had well over a year, and it's nothing more than changing the number from $20K to $600. That's it. Literally all there is to it. The point being the IRS is a legislative branch as well. Posted by: Press Juan - Want to see Pfizer tell you there will be another bioweapon release? at December 26, 2022 08:15 AM (YUvzq) 108
You know, I was just thinking about the logic of eating bugs and I came up with a few things:
1) WHY were bugs not used as a calorie source in the past? My guess would be ease (you have to catch them) and caloric density (you have to eat a LOT of them) to equal an equivalent amount of standard 'food' and the trouble of eating them. Plus there is the whole issue of the instinctual revulsion of eating bugs. 2) The whole scheme reminds me of 'recycling' in general, to wit: It seems like you are putting far more energy into the system than the benefit you get out of it. Recycling makes sense for things that are hard to get the raw materials from, but if you are doing it with cheap and easily attained things, it seems stupid. 'Finally, the delay gives Congress yet another chance to change the law, which was part of the 2021 American Rescue Plan Act and was intended to help close the tax gap. That law instituted the new lower 1099-K reporting requirement for revenue received during the 2022 year' And the IRS decides what is law and what isn't. Most food makes sense in that you get a LOT of benefit for society for the amount of work you put in. The farmer invests a TON of time, but if done well, he can feed an MANY more people than just himself and then he is in turn paid for his trouble because it gives the rest of society TIME to do other things besides worry about gathering or hunting food.

Yesterday I spent some time talking to my uncle about Covid, supply chain issues and other things before Christmas dinner. One thing I pointed out about Technocracy in general is that it makes your system rigid. Rigidity in a system makes it unable to react to threats very well. It is the headline issue with a planned economy and technocracy in general. Freedom is not just useful in how people are allowed to do as they please, it also gives your society agility in meeting various threats. It also changes the mindset of the people in how they react to stress in that they feel like they CAN do something without Diocletian having to instead tell everyone what to do. It allows a society to react organically and use the entire brainpower of the society to react to changing circumstance and gets around the problem of how humans react to problem solving: falling in love with a solution- and then pursuing that solution even when it has been proven not to work.

Nobody but a beggar chuses to depend chiefly upon the benevolence of his fellow-citizens. Even a beggar does not depend upon it entirely. The charity of well-disposed people, indeed, supplies him with the whole fund of his subsistence. But though this principle ultimately provides him with all the necessaries of life which he has occasion for, it neither does nor can provide him with them as he has occasion for them. How can Science, with all of the sophisticated and sensitive instruments of today, examine the nature of God? Be some interesting experiments, but I doubt funding agencies would help.
That can be the premise of a story of today. Someone who looks for physical evidence in the Universe of God. And gets results published in a reputable journal. Who am I kidding. Will not happen. The closest I've seen is the SF book Calculating God by Canadian writer Robert J. Sawyer. Posted by: NaCly Dog (u82oZ) at December 26, 2022 08:45 AM (u82oZ) 182
J6 Report:
At least 28,000 supporters of President Donald Trump flocked to the nation’s capital on Jan. 6, 2021 — many of them carrying weapons ranging from firearms to brass knuckles and screwdrivers, the House select committee investigating the events of that day revealed in its final report. According to CNN: So far, with the investigation still ongoing, three individuals have been charged for allegedly bringing a gun onto Capitol grounds on January 6. At least two other individuals have also been charged with gun crimes in relation to the events of that day, though they are not accused of carrying on Capitol grounds. 'The whole thing stinks' -- a feature film about The Great Global Warming Swindle. It's everything I say it is & more -- more lies, trickery, blackmail & self-interest day-after-day. It's astounding how this UN swindle keeps going in the face of reality. he world warmed by only 0.3 of a degree in the past 43 years -- less than the margin of error. There's no global warming crisis & this makes it clear, the noisy UN campaign about a climate crisis is fake. The actual crisis is the staggering damage to western energy & society. The oceans hold 97% of all the world's retained heat energy & cover 71% of the earth's surface. Oceans hold 260 times the mass of atmosphere & respond only to actions of the sun, moon & surface winds. How can a trace gas -- only 400 parts per million in air -- change world climate? Using feelings to validate gender, which are susceptible to peer pressure, rather than the DNA inside each cell, is a tool of evil. Being evil has been good to a small subset of people. But we know from history that this is a tad short-sighted. For example, the wealthy Romans on their autonomous estates allowed barbarians to take over to reduce their taxes and regulatory burdens. Two generations later, those wealthy families were no more, and their genetic lines were mostly truncated. They chose ... poorly. Part of the problem was that the colonists didn't prioritize the planting of food. They were more interested in searching for gold. ------ TBF, in Jonestown, the communists *did* prioritize crops and construction, etc. But, they had some other priorities that ruined all that. They did, in the end, bring a US politician to justice, though. For that alone, I'll say the failed colony had a bright spot here and there. Some parents at TJHS were recently shocked to learn that, once their children enter the school, the school instantly loses its commitment to having students who are “above average.” Instead, the school is aligned with the district’s commitment to making sure no students stand out above any other students. That’s not an inference. It’s an explicit policy coming straight from the school superintendent: “equal outcomes for every student, without exception”:
The only way to achieve that goal, of course, is to lower standards. You cannot make people who were born with lower brain wattage or with admirable skill sets that trend in a non-academic direction suddenly earn As in school. However, you can assure that academically gifted students never get As. Girls and women seem to be more susceptible to peer pressure than boys and men. But why? Is it an evolutionary thing? Some mechanism that drives them to be part of the group for the purpose of safety? I don't pretend to understand this reaction. I'm just a female who refuses to follow the herd. I don't have any interest in leading it either. Actually, how about just leave me outta that herd all together. Herds are stupid and boring. If we didn't have 30 years of global warming propaganda and failed predictions to prop up, the current hysteria would be global cooling.
Again. And, it would be likely more accurate. At no time in the multi-billion year history of the Earth has there been temperatures too hot for life. But, there has been several ice ages and even the whole planet iced over. A few cows farting and a 1 degree increase is infinitely preferable to that. There will be two more arctic blasts like this one in the next two months. Compared to just one last winter and one the year before. Posted by: Madamemayhem (uppity wench) at December 26, 2022 09:23 AM (Wy1BU) ======================= Modernity afforded us the luxury of not needing to herd. Males and females, each, have a drive to continue the species. I believe part of that with the female is being more adaptable to new situations. Going with the flow as it were. I opened up a Facebook account for one single purpose, to make friends with this one certain individual. I donated to his charity, made a friend request and was in. I read him daily, as he was on the conservative side, and we made comments back and forth. This continued for months. I knew who his other friends were, and the regular commenters. One day he put up a link on the trans issue. Within minutes some nobody I had ever seen before was ripping into him and making some crazy insane declaration about XX and XY chromosomes. I'm only mentioning this because eventually I'm sure the Twitter Files will at some point get into this area and start spilling the truth. I just want to share a non political happy thing. We had the Lord's Supper in church yesterday. We normally have it the first Sunday of the month, but since Christmas fell on a Sunday this year I felt that I wanted to have us celebrate it. The husband of the treasurer (He is very nice man-a retired machinist- and very helpful doing stuff around the church, but not a member- and whom I only see at Christmas ) came up for Holy Communion. His wife was helping distribute the cups. It was such a blessing to see him at the altar rail and I'm thankful to God for that!

He has a large color print of one of his photos in his dining room, and the same photo on his video screen now looks like that expensive, color corrected, print.

The interpretations of my statement are interesting. But inaccurate.
I am neither a fibbie nor a disgruntled spouse. I am an observer of history and of current events, and I cannot find many examples in the past 100 years of histrionic responses to imagined threats except as hatched by female brains. Stupid treaties, foolish trade policies, un-ending wars, corrupt political systems, certainly are follies and primarily born of the male brain and the associated testosterone poisoning. But those are self-correcting (though often with a huge debt) and do not customize the social fundamentals in the way recent acts have. Silent Spring scare, gender confusion, the embrace of open national borders, the loss of citizenship are all examples of customizing social fundamentals to fit a fairy tale narrative. All sprung from the boy/female mind. Sorry to offend but not sorry for pointing it out. Would ANY of that nonsense occur in 1950? Why now, then?
