The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

punk-monkey.jpg

Yup...she looks exactly the way you suspect.

Maybe the reason she doesn't like normal men (white or otherwise) is that they don't show much interest in her!

So she overstepped just a bit by saying the quiet part out loud, and the resulting outcry was enough to push her out.

Pennsylvania school board member to resign over statement rejecting 'cis White male' for president

"I believe that Mr. D’Elia would make an excellent president," she said. "However, I feel that electing the only cis White male on this board, president of this district, sends the wrong message to our community: a message that is contrary to what we as a board have been trying to accomplish."

But nothing else has changed at Upper Moreland School District. They still focus on "nondiscrimination," whatever that means.

Wait...I think it means that they can mostly get away with penalizing prospective employees for their color and sexuality, as long as those being penalized are white and male and like chicks. They just don't talk about it!

And they can continue to brainwash the kids into believing every bit of nonsense about the evils of dead white guy society...using the technology that those dead white guys created.

All that happened is that the school district is learning how to present their progressive agenda to an unsuspecting public in a kinder, gentler way.

What's next? Maybe the outrageous groomer masquerading as a 2nd grade teacher will get the boot because of bondage photos he posted in the classroom? Sure, but the hiring practices won't change, and the overwhelming progressive bias toward deviance and racialism and judging people according to the boxes they check on their applications will continue.

This is one step forward and one step back, which is exactly what they want. Get out of the news cycle and return to the status quo. That's why school boards need to be flipped in their entirety by outraged parents. That's why local elections are vital, no matter what is going on nationally.

What fascinates me is how this comfortable progressive, ensconced in her progressive, fairy tale world was, against all odds, actually held accountable for her behavior? My guess is that it was the vagaries of the news cycle coupled with some good old revenge on the part of the loser that propelled the issue into the public consciousness. it certainly wasn't some solid philosophical belief in the equality of all on the part of the superintendent and the rest of the school board!

16 Lol...reminds me of this recent DU article complaining about white women voters in the GA runoff election.

White women did their white women shit in GA.
White men went 71-27 Walker
White women went 68-30 Walker

What is wrong with my demographic?

How can we complain about women's rights and then vote for the oppressor?

I don't get it. I see it. I believe it. I just don't understand it or how to reach them. It's like their political party is religion and can't ever be wrong.

The reality is that The White women in GA are still hard core Republicans resembling Laura Ingraham. Nothing that can be done about this, but we do appreciate White women who choose love and human rights.

it should not have been close but dems still stupidly ignore the radio advantage. we let 3 Ga unis support 14 ex limbaugh stations without complaint! rw radio is the only unique significant advantage the cons have!

CRT is gone. It's SEL now. Rebranding is easy and the philosophy is dug in like a tick. It cannot be fixed with "banning CRT" or anything like that. There are only two possibilities to fix it:
1. Total subversion (this is your local elections point). To put it in their language, seize the means of production and remake the system in your own image
2. Total destruction. Tear it down and replace it with something else.

I have doubts about door number one, because we now have a few generations of teachers who have been through ed school and teacher credentialing enshrined in law. Even with total subversion, the rank and file are still going to be the same, and their replacements will all be the same.

Another year. Okay. Possible, but doubtful. It isn't an unreasonable timeline if many or all of the following things happen: industrial realignment in Asia finds its feet (things fleeing Red China for SE Asia, India, Japan, Mexico, back here to the US, etc.), shipping stabilizes, Europe's energy crisis is handled, interest rates continue to rise in the meantime, the Fed actually starts liquidating its balance sheet in earnest, agricultural disruption (especially in fertilizers and oil crops) calms down and the central governments (ours especially, but also various others) contain their deficit spending (deficits are inflationary, too).

As always, we can watch precursors like PPI, diesel, copper, etc. None of those show any good signals yet. I think this is Yellen wishcasting, but it isn't entirely outside the realm of possibility if upstream things start turning over in the next quarter or two.

165 Obviously the elections are fixed. And GA GOPe will go ranked choice after success elsewhere to further "fortify" things. So this persons narrative is just pure false-consciousness.

Nevertheless, there is something interesting in what she said. Radio is not coincidentally the medium for "conservative" (spit) culture. There's some essential disconnect between "liberal" (spit) minds and radio. It doesn't do it for them. Idk why.

I'm tempted to say there's something going on with faces. And something going on with body language. Some nonverbal signalling they crave.

These liberals are "head on a swivel" types and do not find constantly adjusting themselves to current conditions unpleasant. They feel at home in that environment. It' a "feminine" trait obv too. I've always wondered about it. McLuhan would have a lot to say about it.

Full disclosure: my favorite thing in the world is Baseball on the radio.

168 There is no fixing public schools. The people who just want to be left alone are always ultimately forced to surrender authority to the people who have a chip on their shoulder. Eliminate the Department of Ed completely. Return the money to the states as no strings attached block grants. Have stated eliminate public schools and simply provide follow-the-student funding. It really is the only credible path forward.

187 Another year.

Soon all eggs sold at Colorado grocery stores will be from cage-free hens. The Colorado general assembly passed HB20-1343 to advance animal welfare by requiring Colorado’s egg-laying hens to be housed in a cage free environment. Additionally, the act also prohibits business owners from selling or transporting for sale in Colorado egg products that are not from a cage-free farm.

The act goes into effect on January 1, 2023 but there are modified requirements for the first two years to give farm owners the time to fully transition to a cage-free environment for their egg-laying hens. By January 1, 2025, all eggs produced and sold in Colorado will need to be cage-free.

248 'zactly DB. I usually try to buy whatever 'cage free' eggs are on sale at the store because I like the principle of cage free and all the rich white liberals were free to do the same thing before and this was working. Even Wally's has carried cage free eggs for years.

But it is not enough to encourage such things through a free market, Have to make it mandatory. Thats why I don't think its about the poultry, but about squeezing people that aint rich but aren't getting gub'mint handouts.

They're in the blue carton and are a mixture of blue and brown shelled eggs.

But, that is a great example how even "reduced" inflation will get us nothing cuz it's still inflation.

And it contradicts a 42-year-long consensus among federal courts that parents do not have a constitutional right to target government programs providing contraceptive care. So there’s a reasonable chance that Kacsmaryk will be reversed on appeal, even in a federal judiciary dominated by Republican appointees.

Eh, don't know about German cars cuz i've never owned one but Japanese cars were/are noticeably superior to American cars in the 70s and beyond.

BONUS! They still last a lot longer. so, you're not buying so often. And have better warranties.

Any shmoe can build a car that last's 50K miles or so. And that was fine as long as people were buying new cars every 4-5 years like back in the pre-70s.

From what I've seen and the experience of my friends 50K still seems to be the limit of most American cars before it's multiple-repairs time.

YMMV.

Not to defend them, but the American cars being put out in the later 70's and 80's were POS compared to German and Japanese cars. The American manufacturers decided that gee, maybe we actually need to compete and build a better product?

True, but American cars are vastly better now. My Buicks have all been top notch cars, as much fun to drive as my '80s and '90s Mercedes and vastly cheaper to run, repair, feed, and insure. Yet car magazines all seem to assume that any American car will begin life with a handicap compared to ones for Germany or Japan.

407 The american solution to the '70s gas crunch was to buy a flimsy cheap shitbox of a car instead.

The european solution was to buy a bicycle.

Cheap shitbox is a relative term. Detroit wasn't exactly covering itself in glory back then.
Rust boxes with truly anemic motors you couldn't even see under all the rubber hosing, and still got lousy gas milage.

I brutalized a 1980 Civic hatch back for 80k miles and except the teeth marks on the hood where a horse sampled the paint it was pristine.

Bought and 84 Silverado (top trim that year) it was a POS. 87Suburban diesel much better, I think they ran them down a different assembly line.

411 407 My home area in Ohio was responsible for the Vega. Not only bad design in many aspects, but produced by a highly pissed off labor force. GM kept kicking up the hourly production rate, and it resulted in Playboy having an article called "Blue Collar Saboteurs". Friend of mine was featured in it.

412 EU has depleted its military stockpiles by providing weapons to Ukraine

.. just how in the hell did they ever expect to fight a real war ?
Of course, they really never believed it would happen.

SMOD, NATO ran out of munitions during Gaylord's leading from behind foray into Libya. Someone in Euroland believes in the short victorious war... and this time it ain't some jumped up Austrian corporal.

413 EU has depleted its military stockpiles by providing weapons to Ukraine

They voted another euro 2 bn in weapons for Ukraine today. Surely someone will manufacture them.

Coverage in a German tabloid today is all Ukraine is carrying out precision strikes while Russia is bombing the rubble of destroyed cities with thermobaric bombs.

There's drone video of a Ukrainian T-64 acquiring and destroying a Russian T-72 with a first shot while moving toward it on a road.

418 Since it hasn't been stated enough, look to today's TWO MINUTE HATE of President Trump by RedState's own Mike Miller on the polling concerning Hunter Biden's laptop and the 2020 election.
Miller is such a total, festering NeverTrump asshole that he apparently doesn't care how Twitter and the media's supression of the laptop influenced some people's decision. WHAT A DICK!
