Rabbit high hurdles.

Mixed-species doubles judo.

From yesterday, but it fits today's theme: Red Panda Sumo.

Sweet story about a 19-year-old deaf dog who can no longer eat or walk abandoned at a shelter. Vets predict that she will die in less than a month. Some nice people decide that the dog, Annie, shouldn't spend her last month on earth languishing in a shelter, and decide to take her to give her the best last month ever. Five months later, and Annie is still alive and enjoying life.

Little baby cow.

Getting ready for Christmas.

Esher's cat.

This dog messed with the wrong tiny tiny bird.

30 Speaking of Jiu Jitsu, I hate that it's so hard to find a good Judo gym but there's Jiu Jitsu EVERYWHERE.

I have to travel 45 minutes in one direction or an 80 minutes in the other to even find a gym that does Judo. The closer location to me is a "club" that doesn't coach you. They do a warmup and a demo, then the rest of the time is randori. The other club actually does some coaching, but it's pretty far.

There are about seven places within 25 minutes of me that do BJJ, but I did Judo as a kid and I still try to practice now and again.

However, I felt badly for my friend who asked if I would speak. After I spoke he tried to get the township committee to acknowledge some criticisms he had received confidentially by people employed by the township about the leftist female Mayor who really has a problem with white males. They called a recess, left the room and wouldn't even hear him. I suggest that he write to the new township committee numbers and tell him of the complaints. You go out the upper deck hatches, and there's a lot of turbulence. It throws you around, and a lot of guys get their lines fouled up. IME a perfect example of just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be done.

You obviously know the city much better than I do but I always loved visiting the place. Boston always felt like a sister city not just because of the obvious bay areas but because of the neighborhoods so I get what you're saying.

But you have to admit SF as a whole has really gone downhill and it's a shame. Having spent a large part of my life living in a city, and getting out when Boston was heading in the same direction, I like them but they are always more susceptible to going feral and SF has gone all in.

It's a shame.

I've had cats die in the first week I owned them and after 20 years, the difference in the pain in the moment isn't all that different. But you can't let some hours or days of your pain at the end outweigh the rest of your life with them. And you've given them a good life, as they have done to you.

It's based on a true story. The main character was the first black Naval Aviator. He is in an F4U Corsair squadron on a carrier off the east coast of Korea in late 1950. The squadron is flying ground support missions for Marine and Army units retreating to the coast after the first Chinese troops were sent in mass across the Yalu River.

Hard for me to talk about this. My cat Toby was 19, and little dog Sophie 18. Taking care of both was stressful. I was never away from home for more than an hour or so during their final month or two. Meds, coaxing to eat special foods. I never resented a moment of it, but it was difficult. Lost both in the space of a month. Damned hard when you've been together that long. Shit.

1. The SC will shoot it down to keep the boat from rocking.

I lean towards take 1, but that's due to experience.

Chris Here...short mid week video. I go into the Sierra Nevada wilderness and make some Sasquatch sounds in a remote area while hiking. I try some tree knocks as well as whoops and howls! To see who is home in the forest. Good hike and fun experience! I also discover some weird large tree breaks in a set of Aspen trees!

They do tend to orient themselves to the house schedule, so likely she sleeps most of the day away. If she seems too lost a big kennel or restricting her to a single room might be the thing.

Though one time after a cat had suddenly passed away I had a talk radio recorder that for some reason just recorded the house and I heard the remaining cat calling out for her friend on the tape. Finding her a new friend became priority one for me and I got a real rage for some of the gatekeepers at the adoption shops.

Before I starting doing business in the Netherlands I really didn't understand how big farming was in the country. The Netherlands is the 2nd largest exporter of agricultural products in the world behind the US. If you drive around the countryside all you see is endless farms in every direction.

Anyone who isn't familiar with the size of the Netherlands should look at a map and see what that means. If they kill farming in the Netherlands not only will people starve but an entire way of life will die. People shop for food daily in the Netherlands instead of running to the local grocery store because fresh food is available everywhere. It's not just the farmers.

This war is just beginning.

323 As soon as I get one, I am on The List.

We're probably all on The List already.

324 I'll omit any other ideas.

326 309 Wife wants me to buy an AR. I don't want to. Why? Because the AR is the target. As soon as I get one, I am on The List. I want to get a lever action carbine. My dream is to get an M1 Garand, but them are pricey. For now, another shotgun. I'll omit any other ideas.

Bolt action 3006 deer rifle with a scope. Simple, easy to maintain, deadly.

327 You want one. You know why? Because they are fun. You will be a target no matter what you buy. Might as well have the funnest one out there.

AKs are a lot of fun too. Just pointing this out.

I do want one. My M-16 in the Army was the best weapon ever. Why? Because she was awesome. In down times I would field strip her and re-assemble her, just because there was nothing else to do. the AR design is fucking awesome.

It's the perfect drug-deal place. Joe simply orders the Secret Service to not frisk family members or open bags carried by family members. Talk about plausible deniability in front of a DC jury! (As if that would be needed.)
