269 Teachers Have Been Arrested for Sex Crimes Since January of This Year

Two-hundred and sixty-nine -- 269! -- teachers, K-12, have been arrested for sex crimes since January.

What we definitely need to do is create a "safe space" for these people to have more "secret rap seshes" with kids about their sexuality.

Nearly 270 public educators were arrested on child sex-related crimes in the US in the first nine months of this year, ranging from grooming to raping underage students.
An analysis conducted by Fox News Digital found that from Jan. 1 to Sept. 30, at least 269 educators were arrested, which works out to roughly one arrest a day.
The 269 educators included four principals, two assistant principals, 226 teachers, 20 teacher's aides and 17 substitute teachers.
At least 199 of the arrests, or 74%, involved alleged crimes against students.

Nope, no groomers here!

A commenter at Instapundit tried to put this number in perspective by noting that there are 3.1 million teachers. Okay, it's not a high percentage. But it is a problem, and definitely enough of the problem that parents should demand and enforce a "No Secret Talks With My Kids About Sex" policy.

By the way, when there was a scandal about Catholic priests molesting children -- remember, many of those cases involved crimes that occurred years or decades ago. They were all exposed in a short window -- but the molestations happened over a timeframe measured in decades.

This number, 269 teachers arrested for sex crimes, is the tally since January of this year. These are not historical crimes. This is what's happening now, in only part of an unfinished year.

Parents are standing up to the groomers. Below, a parent reads from This Book is Gay, a book that provides detailed sexual instruction in a chapter called "The Ins and Outs of Gay Sex."

This book is available to 7th graders.

The adults hearing this explicit how-to guide for handjobs and blowjobs are uncomfortable.

This woman is protesting an advertisement for a Halloween "Boo Bash" featuring drag queens. It was posted on something called "PeachJar," which is a messaging board for the school district, available to children.

The ad claims the drag queen event will supposedly be "family friendly."

7 Guy I went to high school with got picked up on an enticing a child charge late last year. He was a soccer coach and apparently had been grooming this girl since she was 13 via social media. He's going up for five years. All I remember about him was that he had serious behavioral problems in grade school.

You can actually kill more birds by doing one other thing: getting rid of the lie that you need to go to an Ivy League school to succeed in life. That lie is a big reason (other than safety) behind people moving to neighborhoods with great public school systems.

When your future depends on a grade from one of them, a child will bend to their will - with enthusiastic affirmation from their parents. That lie artificially inflates real estate prices in those neighborhoods. If you could homeschool without restriction, you could potentially raise a child in a middle-class neighborhood and avoid paying inflated housing prices, like folks living in Brooklyn in the 50s and 60s could when good public schools could exist almost anywhere. That lie fuels the price of higher education rising faster than anything else, other than healthcare.

Nobody in his friend group does phone calls or even text messages to coordinate activities. They mostly use Instagram for that. One of them has to specifically remember him and send him a text so he can be included. They do that, but sometimes they forget or he doesn't get timely updates.

One of the students was a very attractive young man -- black hair and deep, dark blue eyes -- and the professor just couldn't help himself, he always called on him first when throwing out a new question. It was so obvious (even though the kid wasn't gay), everybody in the classroom -- including the favored student (whom I felt bad for) surely picked up on the pattern and the likely motive for his behavior, even if innocent and benign.

What I like to think about is why it works so well as part of the story, other than just "ooh boobies". It helps humanize the prisoners, it helps give you some sympathy for what they are going through and makes you more ready to accept their escape attempts.

That's a factor and its worth considering but the issue here isn't "look how many are taking place" but rather "look at where the focus is". Yes, it is probably true that a higher percentage of Roman Catholic Priests molested kids than school teachers molested students.

But the point is what is the focus on, the 50 samples of kids being molested by a priest or the 6000 being molested by teachers? Which deserves more attention? Or is the implication that we cannot expect any better from teachers?

Surely we should expect better from priests, but is that a position that the legacy media is reasonably expected to hold?

I think the stats are the other way around, the teachers molest a higher proportion of students and are more likely individually to be predators. Ultimately predators go where the kids are but being a priest is probably less attractive on other criteria.

Per people who were contemporary with this going through the seminaries, allegedly the big wave through the seminaries was in the 1970s with it tapering off after. Idk if there's a specific explanation of why this wave of gays happened, but the sudden emergence of a homosexual subculture was noticeable to others.

I knew of another troop member who was molested by the same rifle range instructor (troop leaders were at regular weekly meeting at the time) and tried to contact him before the deadline for filing. When he didn't respond I respected his desire to forget. I respect everyone's desire to forget, but at least 10X the number the BSA expected came forward. These pervs *actually* think they're 'helping' young boys 'transition' into homosexuality. That somehow they can't make that leap alone.
