The San Mateo DA after further review of the evidence, ie TV channel 7 scrutiny, has decided to drop the hearing of the case between the millionaire California developer and the Illinois builder of the car.

Meanwhile dear Bat fans, the Sheriff who sent FOUR LEOs off to Illinois now has to face the county board over the matter. I hope they Spatchcock him.

31 And in yesterday's farm news, my son who has been working at a farm picking crops in the field and in the greenhouse got chewed out by his boss (he and the two other young men working there) who was upset that they weren't going fast enough and instead of taking the basket with them to pick eggplants walked back to the basket to put them in. He said "You're going to f'ing slowly and you'll never get a "fing job after this if you're so slow." One of the other young men said-after the farmer left, "He's an a-hole" but my son took the comment and heart and said to me, "I guess I should have thought of that way of doing it." My response was "You've never worked on farm before and now you know how to do things." The other young men hadn't either.

We both know that the farmer must be under a lot of stress with so many things to be worried about, and he has these eruptions on pay day. Also, he's understaffed. I told my son to pray for him and for the farm. Oh, well only a week to go before he gets ready to transfer to college.

Okay short version. California millionaire puts down payment to the only DC Comics licensed builder of Batmobiles. He then bobbles and misses a $20k payment so builder puts car to the back of the queue.

Millionaire files complaints and suits in California and they are tossed out. Outgoing Sheriff of San Mateo suddenly sends four officers for three days to Illinois to seize the car builder's records and emails.

He asked her if she'd been vaxxed and she said that she hadn't. He said "You really should."

I spoke up and asked him what the potential side effects are and he said "they are very mild." I doubled down and said "No, can you list for her the full range of possible side effects from clinical trials? We are here for a consult on the gamma knife surgery to discuss how the procedure will work, the potential benefits and possible side effects from the procedure. If you are recommending another medical procedure, shouldn't you discuss with us what the potential benefits and side effects are?"

89 Buying almond or any nut milk is for suckaz.

Step one: Pour water into high powered blender like a Vita-Mix.

Step Two: Pour nuts into high powered blender

Step Three: Blend at high power

Step Four: Strain milky looking nut water through cheese cloth.

Step Five: Drink or whatever. Same process the companies use without the preservatives and emulsifiers. Cheaper too.

Step Six: Decide nut milk of any kind is some lame-ass shit.

Take it from one who knows - fake milks should never be offered as stand-alone beverages. They exist to enable those who can't or won't partake of milk the option to have sweetness, dilution, and creaminess in their coffee and to have a substiution for same in cooking recipes. You couldn't pay me to drink any of the subs I can drink straight.

But any boss that doesn't teach employees how to be productive, even while taking a break, ain't no boss.

Example... pulling brush out of a yard can be tiring, especially for youngsters with no muscle mass yet. When they need a little break, they can pick up a rake and start that process. Needs to be done anyway, and let's them use different muscles. Point is, they are still being productive.

193 I watched the video on the sidebar of the thug attempting a theft get himself stabbed, and I'm conflicted about it. Multiple perpetrators wearing ski masks, and one jumps the counter and changed the dynamics of the incident.

The first few stabs were justified, but I think that the clerk is in legal jeopardy due to holding the thug and continuing to stab him after the thug turned to flee. However, law-abiding citizens are frustrated and angry at the State for allowing criminals to steal, burn and murder at will. I think the clerk just snapped.

Politicians have been violating the social contract for years and most people are tired of it. The Lefties need to realize that THIS is what happens when you de-fund the police and let hooligans roam free to prey on citizens. People will tolerate only so much bull$h!t. We are an RCH from Vigilance Committees.

That video from Brazil with people in cars running-over and killing robbers on motorcycles demonstrates the next step in the process.

ABQ should be a gem in the SW that it is a complete hot mess right now sort sums of the complete takeover of the place by the Democrats. NM State government is more of a mafia that does is level best to keep everyone ill educated decade after decade, a stagnant to dying economy while making sure the established politicians reap all the benefits. The SW in general is a vibrant part of the nation. NM is more a 2.5 to 3.0 world nation and that it doesn't change directly tied to the Democrats who run the place.

264 If the clerk had stabbed the guy(s) just for snatching items from the shelf, that would be a big problem. I think he can argue the dynamic changed considerably when the dude in all black jumped the counter. Personally, I'd figure things had escalated way beyond a shoplift at that point, and I was now looking at an armed robbery even if I didn't see a weapon at the moment. Anybody who dresses like an Antifa goon is suspect as hell, and at that point the little thief would've been admiring the muzzle of my pistol. Hopefully the clerk lawyered up fast and shut the hell up.

266 Police here in ABQ think we might have a serial killer offing muslim men.
Posted by: Tinfoilbaby at August 06, 2022 08:02 AM (sRUs0)

The way these kinds of things usually shake out:

1) The victims are gay muslim men looking for action with the wrong guy - killer probably muslim though may not be.
2) Victims are gay muslim men, killer is a muslim outraged by gay muslim men and enforcing the koran on them
3)Rivalry between the two sects of muslims Shia VS Sunni
4) killer is muslim outraged by "loose" behavior of fellow muslims
5) killer is not a muslim but really hates muslims - I put this in the lowest probability section
6) Statistical weirdness of nut job working muslim section of town.

1-4 get my bet.

267 Re-watching the justified defensive stabbing I noticed when the tall punk hauls ass and the short punk is getting dragged to his new chalk lines, a third little punk holding the front door dashes off.

It looks like there were 3 democrat voters involved in the attack on the helpless store owner.

269 Bobotie part 4 and final
Mix eggs with 1/4 cup milk and pour over top of mixture.
Bake at 375 about 30 minutes, or until top custard is set and mixture is heated through.
Sprinkle remaining almonds when baking is done and let sit for 10 minutes.
(Whew!)

Here in SC I had some college professor clients a few months ago, emigres from Washington State. The wife was complaining about how her best voting efforts liberals to enlighten her backward adopted state kept failing. SC wasn't morphing fast enough into the shithole she left. In a perfect world, yes that happens. We don't now, nor have we ever lived in a perfect world with perfect bosses. It's a lesson in life, better learned in a part time summer job, as opposed to some day when a wife and family and livelihood is on the line.

279 Re: the farmer getting profane. Yeah, that's a big thing with 'old-school' type guys. In those kinds of jobs it's really not worth it to have any kind of training. A lot won't get it anyway, and it's seasonal so it's a pain to train everyone over and over. I've worked with guys like that: they really are terrible bosses, but it's all they know. Generally it's how they were treated when young. People from poor farming backgrounds are the worst. Everyone's stupid, everyone's lazy. They're from lives where there's just no room for empathy or support. Employees just have to figure it out for themselves. Is what it is.

286 Automakers say 70% of EV models don't qualify for tax credit under Senate bill

https://tinyurl.com/39sca74e

From the article: President Biden has a target of having half of all new vehicles sold be electric or plug-in hybrid models by 2030.

From Google search: The U.S. auto industry sold a little over 3.34 million cars in 2021. That year, total car and light truck sales were approximately 15 million in the United States.

(Half of 3.34 million is ~1.67 million. Half of 15 million is 7.5 million. Let's make an assumption that half of all car sales were new car sales. That would be ~850,000.)

From the article: An analysis by the Congressional Budget Office on Wednesday suggested just 11,000 new EVs would use the credit in 2023.

To get from 11,000 to 850,000 in 8 years, that would be an increase of ~7600% in 8 years. Nevermind the infrastructure to support that will never be ready within those 8 years either.

287 I was just reading an AP article on the extraordinary job growth. Man, the gaslighting is getting even more blatant:
The U.S. economy shrank in the first two quarters of 2022 – an informal definition of recession. But most economists believe the strong jobs market has kept the economy from slipping into a downturn.

Two down quarters used to be a recession; then it became a "technical definition" of a recession. Now it's an "informal definition". And two sentences after writing "economy shrank" we learn that we haven't slipped into a downturn. They don't even know what they wrote two sentences ago.

These are profoundly stupid people.

288 Boys support abortion more than girls do. They just don't go out there publicly and rant. So, let's call it bad parenting for both sexes...

Posted by: Nova local at August 06, 2022 07:11 AM

My guess is that most boys today who "support abortion" only do so to impress girls who support abortion. How many things have boys/men done or how many opinions have boys/men agreed with girls/women simply to get in good with girls/women.

Just look at the 2000 movie High Fidelity with John Cusack. In that he explains to the audience that he initially had a "rant of self righteousness" when finding out his girlfriend had an abortion, telling her "how could you do that, it's my child too". Then he explains to the audience that he was wrong to feel that way.

My guess... completely a guess... is that is the default for most boys/men. If girls/women support abortion, they will support it too.

289 These are profoundly stupid people.

Posted by: LCMS Rulz! at August 06, 2022 09:47 AM

They are a reflection of the American public as a whole.

The Left has been indoctrinating the last two generations. Remember that "Ok, Boomer..." phrase? That was done for a reason. The millennial and zoomer generations are completely leftist indoctrinated. And also taught to treat anything said by logical boomers and gen-x-ers as radical extremist or wrong.

So while most of we informed, logical-thinking people (I am GenX) see the media's redefinition of terms as profoundly stupid, the younger generations -- which are the future of the country -- see it as their normal. Just like "climate change" is their normal, wokeness is their normal, numerous genders is their normal.

290 The first few stabs were justified, but I think that the clerk is in legal jeopardy due to holding the thug and continuing to stab him after the thug turned to flee. However, law-abiding citizens are frustrated and angry at the State for allowing criminals to steal, burn and murder at will. I think the clerk just snapped.

Posted by: Retired Buckeye Cop is now an engineer at August 06, 2022 08:20 AM

Sounds like the clerk went Ender's Game on those thugs. And good on him for it. He wanted to stop not just that particular thug that particular time, but was sending a message to make sure no one ever even thinks of trying to rob his store ever again.

Major Gwen Anderson: Why did you keep kicking him? You had already won the fight. Did you enjoy it?
Ender Wiggin: No... knocking him down was the first fight. I wanted to win all the next ones too, so that he'd leave me alone.
