HI!!!

Another monkeypox outbreak.

Baby elephant on a walk.

Cerberus Security System.

Kitten Ninja Stealth Pounce.

He may be a pussy, but he's our pussy.

Dog does not like being made fun of. It's pretty funny that he knows he's being imitated and mocked.

I iz innocent!

This baby penguin has got some beak with the cameraman.

Sweet bike tricking.

I'm not saying it's aliens, but it's definitely aliens.

Also an alien.

Ginger roller-skating tricking.

Okay so that was fake, but...

16 This got willowed so here goes again

Why the writers of Star Drek: Woke New Worlds are incompetent hacks.

Episode 3: "Ghosts of Ilyria."

It is revealed that Number One, Una, is actually an Ilyrian and she lied to get into Star Fleet.

The Ilyrians were banned from joining the Federation because they gene tinkered on themselves.

So let me get this straight. Standard genetic screening on intake of new recruits failed to spot that Una was not Homo Sapiens. And Star Fleet did not do a background check on Una before admitting her to Star Fleet Academy?

What the actual feldergarp?

120 So, there was a peddle by shooting this morning outside of my office building.... yep, dude was on a bicycle. Shot one guy twice, the target, and some random older lady waiting for the bus. Response time from APD was around 10 minutes...in downtown Austin. On the same block as a Federal courthouse and catty corner from a state office building. First on scene were the State police from office building. This was before 8 am. Was talking to my manager and heard the shots, asked her if that was gunfire, she said it sure sounded like it. Then we watched everything unfold from the balcony on our floor. They caught the suspect a few hours later. Black on black shooting.
Then at lunch, we got to see a photo shoot of Austin's finest, posing on horses on the rainbow crosswalk, with two officers on foot waving rainbow flags, and another in a kilt. Could be they're too busy posing for photo ops to actually respond in a timely manner. To be fair it was several hours later but still not what I want to see so soon after a shooting a few blocks away. I have the picture if anyone needs proof.

Mr. Black works for State Farm. He got the internal memo as well, and what the word is is that it was more an alliance with the agency side of State Farm, who are independent employees with this tranny org. Some agents(?) put this together and it didn't come from Corporate. But of course, the State Farm name gets attached. There were a lot of concerned complaints going into Corporate from other agents, who were likely getting an earful from their policyholders. Sounds a little fishy, but I know when I showed the original story to Mr. Black, he didn't recognize any name quoted in that story. And he's very familiar with department heads and big names within the company. He was skeptical from the beginning when I first showed it to him.

He walked across a 4 lane street yelling, then walked back across before laying down. The State Police officer got a tourniquet around his right leg but we still never saw any blood on him or the ground. Found out he was hit twice. So probably not hollow points and a .380 maybe.
Posted by: Lady in Black at May 23, 2022 08:02 PM

But the corporate higher ups could have killed it at anytime. They were the ones writing the checks in co-op dollars to the agents. This has corporate wokism all over it. They are basically contract employees and SF allowing them to put their name and or promote any of this is wokist bullshit. SF still had to approve it, so they can't blame a bunch or rogue agents doing this alone. Nope.

202 Better writing and moar action than Picard

*

Full disclosure: All I've seen of Picard has been from the Red Letter Media reviews. That said...

It looks incredibly bad. Picard waxing poetic and making emotional statements and decisions in between kung fu fights. The RLM guys played some clips of TNG Picard to show the contrast.

I really wonder if anyone on staff ever watched the show or did any research. Heck, I wonder if the bald guy ever understood his character.

Which character? Picard as a character has gone through more transitions than 'Adm' Levine.

-first season, boring, boring dishrag.
-from second season on, they tried to liven him up with more insight and verve.
-First Contact, he is an action hero.
-I can see Picard Picard as a lot like his first season incarnation.

I have never had a problem with the 30 to 75lber's. We roasted 3 at the MoMe before last and they were great. They are even better if you can trap them and feed them up for 90 days before you process them
Commercial hogs have to supply a lot of meat and that growth gives you those lovely 10lb pork loins.

426 FUN FACT

I've read that due to anthropogenic climate change and Trump, the area around Mont Saint-Michel regularly floods now at high tide!
Posted by: Zettai at May 23, 2022 08:31 PM (ww7wn)

What's interesting was that some time in the 6th and 7th centuries that area was all above the tides and that site was just a hill. Then almost at once, for some reason, the seas flooded that area over a period of days and created the tidal salt flats there now.

One SCOTUS opinion I'm waiting for is challenge to NY's concealed carry law. Will originalists define "firearm" as it was in 1791, a musket with a single ball? Or will they ignore hypocrisy and say gun rights evolve to include handguns & assault weapons?

I thought the ending was excellent. Ben Affleck lets his childishness ruin a near perfect relationship because it turned out the girl was a waaaaaaaay more experienced sexually instead of the semi-virginal lezzie he thought he scored. It's about how a man's ego can take something wonderful and smash it because of pure jealousy.

It really is the best thing Kevin Smith ever did.

No. Unless you are not counting the ones that were starved to death in the work camps and in the country, and killed out of hand for stealing food, having education, wore glasses, or for not having calloused hands.

Pol Pot invented a new kind of atrocity - he decided that the corrupt city dwellers needed a taste of country life and ordered them all out to the country. On foot.

In a hospital? March. If you don't march, you die. If you march, you get out to the countryside where the peasants have no extra food and you die.

436 Here in SC, we are paying for a nuclear plant that was never built. Huge scandal, but we still have to pay for it.
---
In AL we have Bellfonte. TVA halted construction about halfway through, then paid to maintain it for over 20 years, then decided to sell it. A company bought it for $200 million with the understanding that they could finish it and operate it. Then TVA changed its mind and said the sale was for salvage only, so now there's a big lawsuit about it.
I just love paying for shit like this.

Here in MS, they built a power plant that would utilize shitty MS based peatbog coal to run 'carbon free'; after 7 years of of FAILED engineering, they switched the plant to run on NatGas. The cost of a new natgas plant of similar megawattage -- $250 million. The total sunk cost of the failed carbon-free plant?

Over $7 BILLION. Yes, MS electric consumers are covering many of those boondoggle costs.

Fed govt needs a mile of road built. Guy in charge of awarding contracts get a bid from a TN contractor for $10M. Then he Gets a second bid for a bid for $20M from someone in CA. Finally a guy from Illinois submits a bid for $50M. Dude in charge says $50M? This is outrageous, and 5x more than our lowest bid how can you justify it?. Guy from Illinois says “easy. $20M for me, $20M for you and we hire the guy from TN to build the road for $10M”.
