'I identify as bisexual and I wanted him to know what he said was triggering,' Lee said Saturday at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles. 'I wanted him to know that next time, he should consider first running his material by people it could affect.'If convicted, Lee would only see up to 18 months in prison. Lee's attorney says he shouldn't be sentenced to too much time. He claims that while he was armed with the knife, he didn't ever "brandish" or "wield" it. Is that true? Maybe that's true. If that's true, maybe Gascon has a decent reason to not charge him with assault with a deadly weapon. But I don't know that's true. That's just Lee's attorney claiming that. The LGBT community is enraged. Or, at least the Very Online and Very Noisy and Very Complainey parts of the LGBT community. Not because one of their members committed a terroristic attack on a black comedian for jokes he didn't like. No, they're enraged, again, because the Bad Black Man told another joke they didn't like. The joke was about the knife that Chappelle's assailant terroristically attacked him with. You have probably heard it was a fake gun with a knife attached. According to attendees, Chappelle appeared as a surprise opener, and told jokes targeting the transgender community. Mulaney reportedly came onstage and hugged Chappelle at the conclusion of the opening set. Some fans in the crowd expressed their disappointment after the show on Twitter:

Only mostly. There is *one* thing that can be funny: if the target of the joke is a white dude, the joke is allowed. It isn't that jokes about white dudes can't be funny, but when you have only one option for being funny, it limits the choices. Also, contemporary "comedy" is written and performed by people who do not posses a sense of a humor (which is the much bigger problem).

He says he's happy he did the transition, but his depression and massive weight gain suggest he may not be telling the truth. After starring for years in a t.v. show about the joys of transgenderism, it would probably be difficult for him to admit that he'd been sold a bill of goods about how happy "transitioning" would make him.

I've never seen the show. Only know about it from what I've read. But I think it would probably be psychologically impossible for this guy to admit that he'd been duped by the "trans" industry.
He spent literally his entire life being celebrated for being "trans," constantly told how special that made him, even given a t.v. show to showcase it. He was also told that everything he didn't like about himself would be "fixed" once he transitioned, and he believed it (and I'm not blaming him, he was a kid and everybody he trusted told him this).
Then the big day finally comes, and he goes through the surgery and not only does the surgery itself go horribly wrong, but he doesn't experience the magical "fixing" of all his personal issues that he'd been promised for so long.
It must have been devastating for him. No wonder he became so depressed and tried to eat his pain away. I don't fault him, because he didn't know any better. But I do fault all the adults who are still pushing this insanity on vulnerable kids.

There are all sorts of problems with the fake vaginas. It could be a measurement error that is created systematically by our tools or the transmission of light over those distances. Unless it wasn't happening previously and then started happening. If "x happens more the farther away things are from our measuring position" I'm inclined to think it is our ability to measure that is at issue.

That would to me suggest more that gravity doesn't really warp space and so has limited impact on light. It'd be very difficult for us to verify a lot of how things work, as opposed to simply lining up "this theory matches what we see'.

I'd much rather waste some scientists time coming up with explanations X Y and Z that prove unnecessary then waste 30 years of of the whole of humanities time for scientific advancement verifying the data then finding out the data is real, then finding out we "should" have been testing for theory X Y and Z while we were verifying the data, but now we need to start that and it's going to take Another 30 years. Scientist theorizing time is very cheap compared to the cost of inaction even if the possibility is remote.

Doctors say that when kids who are too young to have experienced orgasm start taking puberty blockers, they are often never able to achieve orgasm as they advance into puberty and adulthood, and many also become infertile.
So there is a good possibility that not only will Jazz not be able to achieve orgasm during sex (assuming he can find somebody who wants to have sex with him), he also may not be able to father children as a "woman."
This guy is going to be both physically and mentally screwed up for life. And it didn't have to happen.

You both are pushing metaphors past the breaking point. Technically light enters the black hole (goes beyond the event horizon) time and space become interchangeable and the singularity occupies all possible futures and all future time is beyond the event horizon.

Usually the "hole" part of a black hole is the event horizon.
Anyway. You cannot accelerate light. You cannot decelerate light. Light has escape velocity so long as it is located on our side of the event horizon. Meaning if it isn't traveling straight toward the "hole" part of a black hole it will not enter the event horizon. It will have it's path radically altered but not be "pulled in".
For light that does enter the event horizon that was the direction is was traveling anyway and it didn't speed up as it got closer so saying it was "pulled in" implies a lot of stuff that doesn't happen.
