EDGEFIELD COUNTY, S.C. – Law enforcement authorities in South Carolina believe a man suffered a fatal heart attack while digging a grave and burying a woman he had just killed by strangulation.

A Democrat County Supervisor in Buchanan County, Virginia has been indicted on 82 felony counts stemming from an alleged election fraud and corruption scheme following a 2-year state police investigation. Included in the charges filed against Trey Adkins, of the county’s Knox District, are 34 counts of false statements related to election fraud and 11 counts of absentee voting violations.
A grand jury handed down the indictments and the case will be prosecuted by the Commonwealth’s Attorney from nearby Russell County, Zack Stoots. According to the grand jury’s report, Adkins has relied on an illegal absentee vote harvesting scheme since he was first elected to public office in 2011, repeating the process in his 2015 and 2019 bids for re-election. All told, Trey Adkins will face 34 counts of False Statement – Election Fraud, 11 counts of Absentee Voting Procedure Violation, 8 counts of Public Embezzlement, 11 counts of Forgery of Public Record, 15 counts of Uttering Public Record, and 3 counts of Conspiracy to Make a False Statement – Election Fraud.

Funny thing is, I'm on the wife's side on this one. I've followed this saga on Blindgossip.com (don't judge), and Albert has acted like a cad throughout the marriage. He should just divorce her so he can live his life, but for some odd reason he doesn't want to do that. He's fathered at least one child outside the marriage, and the mistress is very much in the picture.

Its a german immigrant descendent thing especially those that became farmers. I believe it reminds people of strudel and danishes. You'll see it all up and down the midwest in rural places. My family did it even though we're solidly hillbilly scotch-irish. I like the taste a lot, savory cheese and tart apple works really good.

It does it in increments, leaving the engine running, by taking over control of the throttle, and using the ABS computer to control the brakes. This way, it's not a sudden loss of power or control, but the chase is soon OVER. Oh, and it unlocks the doors when a full stop is achieved.
Moral of the story? Don't own a GM product, as they all have OnStar as standard equipment.

You can sneer, but my wife like barley tea, and I will drink it too, though I like to add dried apples and ginger in it. I love coffee, but in the evenings (or after my fifth or so cup in the morning) I drink it or Lemon Balm.
My wife will drink coffee if it is diluted with hot water, about a teaspoon of brewed coffee to a cup of hot water I am afraid. At least it is cheap to take her to Starbucks

I bought my wife an overnight iced tea infuser, a glass pitcher with a long stainless steel basket with small holes you put the tea leaves in to cold brew over night. Well I found it makes real good cold brewed coffee too. Just use a bunch of course ground coffee instead of tea.

Driving through that area I enjoy listening to U2's Joshua Tree album. Red Mill Town, Bullet the Blue Sky. Yeah their later stuff sucked but it seems like that album was written for that area.

It's too bad he hurt his knee in the NCAA tourney after the game was already decided and he should've been relaxing on the bench. Knee surgeries were much more primitive then than now. He did fine with that, it's all his other issues with seeing traffic and communicating with the tower. I heard through the rumor mill that the FAA let him keep his license if he stayed out of congested airspace. That was a few years back, it's tough for pilots to admit they probably shouldn't be flying anymore.

For melon, at least cantaloupe, the Mexican street vendor thing (sprinkle chile flakes on it) is super. I would think by now even in the east you can buy the stuff you sprinkle like this, I saw Trader Joe's now has their own house version (it's got mild chile and a few other flavors, forget what they are).
Best summer fruit salad ever, chunks of cantaloupe with lime juice, fresh mint, and hot chile flakes. If the cantaloupe's good it literally is the best fruit salad ever.

Ha, I don't like hot coffee. Some years back I replaced drinking Coke with black coffee from a jug I keep in the fridge. Works for me. And the kill switch thing is yet another reason I only drive full-size V8 RWD from 20 years ago, beyond the reliability, cheap parts and ease of repair. Right about then is when cars went over the edge as far as being disposable transport units. I don't need 5-10 more MPG and road race handling or a monthly car payment.

A simple idea is to put a red in the fridge for 20 minutes before you serve it. Take a white out of the fridge for 20 minutes before serving. Obviously there was is no set rule but that general idea is sound.

In a brief search, I have not yet found any online "index" where one might type a VIN, and discover if the car is so equipped. Opportunity there for you who know how to code.

I'm in the last quarter of my life and I now live within a cash flow world. If you read up on his planning, it was pretty unbelievable and why the killings would never have been traced to him. He didn't have a kill kit in his car, he had kill kits buried all over the country in plastic screw-top buckets, just waiting to be used. No one knows how many of those buried buckets are out there, either.
I don't even think the crew of Criminal Minds would have found him if he hadn't fucked up.

They'll end up benefitting NEW buyers, not just grandfathered in owners. And this, as far into the future as can be guarded against a new Tx State Constiutional Amendment. Which ain't likely, even with a solidy (D) statehouse. People of Texas would never vote it in.

HOAs were made for Kens and Karens. I do not understand why anyone would willingly join such a totalitarian group where they measure your lawn to make sure it's cut to the 'right' height. HOAs are so un-American. You own, and can do what you want with, your property -- sort of. Because only if Karen and Ken approve.
I knew a co-worker who bought a house in an HOA way back in the early '80s. We've been building those big subliminal messaging 'OBEY' signs* for a long time now. COVID-1984 put 'OBEY' over the top, along with mask and 'vaccine' mandates.

Mountain biking downa ski slope is an inherently dangerous activity. A 43 year old man ought to know this. He also ought to know not to ride outside of his abilities. Where is his responsibility for choosing to perform a hazardous activity outside of his abilities? What was the basis of the verdict? That the ski slope was responsible for a 43 year old man making a decision to perform a risky activity, and not stopping him? The fuck? Now, because this guy wants to argue that he needed to be protected from himself, and that the ski slope had that duty to protect him from himself, nobody gets to ride anymore.
I'm sorry he got hurt, but fuck this guy.
