I asked in the previous thread, but how likely is it they'd actually "forgive" these student loans? It's just incredible to me they would try this. Jr. Black is 25 and is incredibly financially disciplined. Because he's so responsible, he's been paying on his student loans, with our help, and adding what he can to pay them off early. This will deeply anger millions of people, not to mention all other kinds of fallout that will occur. This has me seeing red and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Incidentally, where is Chief Lizzie Warren to scream about the obscene profits of the higher education sector in all this? Talk about robber barons.

They are looking at multiple days based out of SF for day trips and including actual city tours. Is there an area I can steer them for maximum safety? I'm not sure how bad the city actually is these days. The news reports are pretty bad. Should I do my best to discourage them, or at least minimize their stay? Thanks for any advice.
