Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Claims CNN Deliberately Provoked Violence in Fergusen, MO After Michael Brown Shooting So They Would Have News to Cover

Everyone hates CNN, notes PJM's Victoria Taft.

First, Jack Dorsey responded to Tater's accusation that Tucker Carlson was selling fear.

"and you're selling hope?" he rebutted.

jackandyouresellinghope.jpg

Obviously the Permanent Crisis Media isn't selling hope. They're selling Permanent Crisis. Tune in tomorrow to find out what the latest Permanent Crisis is.

This spurred some comment:

Elizabeth Spiers
@espiers

They're selling truth, which is hope-agnostic. It's supposed to inform you, not make you feel some kind of way.

That's so dumb, but hold on.

Sarai (Sarah Idan) Miss Iraq
@RealSarahIdan

even @CNN sometimes sell false news. I know this from covering Iraq events in 2019. People need to understand every media is prone to either mistakes or deliberate corruption. Do your own investigation before believing what they’re selling you.

"Even CNN sells fake news." How adorable.

But Jack now weighs in on CNN and fake news, accusing them of deliberately stirring up "conflict" in Ferguson so they could sell ad spots:

jack
@jack

I know this from being on the streets of Ferguson during the protests and watching them try to create conflict and film it causing the protestors to chant "fuck CNN"

He also talked about the Twitter board always scheming to remove its founding members:

iHadrami_

If look into the history of Twitter board, it’s intriguing as I was a witness on its early beginnings, mired in plots and coups, and particularly amongst Twitter's founding members. I wish if it could be made into a Hollywood thriller one day.

[responding to that tweet]
jack
@jack

it's consistently been the dysfunction of the company

Dorsey has been making noise that he's regretful about his role in making the free and open internet into corporate prison that it is today. Maybe he's trying to hint that the board of directors was always pushing him in that direction. Someone speculated that he seems like someone who's hinting at something that he's not allowed to talk about due to an NDA.

Eh, I don't know.

Interesting he's talking badly about Twitter's board now, of all times. Maybe he's trying to suggest -- falsely or not -- that he was interested in keeping the site more oriented towards free speech, but the corporate shareholders were interested in imposing the same speech codes on Twitter than are present in their corporate workplaces.

Corporations increasingly want to impose corporate rules, including the stiflingly SJW and racist/homosupremacist rules of corporate HR departments, on people in all spheres of their lives, outside of work as well as on the job.

Thank God we have good Conservative, Inc. organizations like National Review to support our Corporate Overlords in their every whim and fancy.

We are not people, we are not humans, we are not citizens. We are not children of God.

We are merely Corporate Functionaries. We exist to serve the Corporate God-State. We tend it, we nurture it. We ask favor of it and when it denies us, we say, "That is good and wise."

We make babies so it may have new Corporate Functionaries in the Later Years.

To oppose our Corporate Dukes is to commit Treason.

Citizens owe a stance of libertarianism towards corporations; corporations, justifiably, must show a position of authoritarianism towards citizens, to properly guide them and lead them out of ignorance and malice.

Everything for the Corporation, nothing outside the Corporation, nothing against the Corporation.

This is Conservatism, Inc. The freedom and flourishing of corporations matters; the freedom and flourishing of the citizen does not.

12 I don't know if I believe that Dorsey was in fact a free-speech advocate who got his arm twisted by the board. That seems a bit too self-exculpatory.

BUT, him saying that is another sign that the worm is turning on this. Too many people have gotten way too alienated by this SJW corporatist bullshit, and some of the people formerly shoveling it are starting to get nervous and distance themselves.

There's a real sense that they're at risk of losing this fight, which they are not used to.

65 Having seen board intrigue at a number of companies I have no doubt that Jack is correct as far as it goes. The bigger question is who is controlling the boards at Big Tech?

Anyone think it's a coincidence how many ex-Obama and other deep state functionaries have ended up at Big Tech including the current General Counsel at Twitter James Baker who most recently was the General Counsel of the FBI under Comey?

Seriously, check out his piece by Greenwald he just published about a bunch of ex-government intel types coming to the defense of Big Tech and defending their ability to censor and control information. There's probably a reason Big Tech has never been brought under control by the government and worked overtime to help destroy Trump and anyone else who goes against the establishment.

There is not one piece of legislation that can't be frustrated and ultimately reversed if enough business interests try to oppose it. From watching "The Social Network" (Facebook), "Jobs" (Apple) and "Super Pumped" (Uber), this seems to be a running theme of these companies, where the founders are run out of their companies. That said, he is one of the most artfully dishonest individuals I've seen. Slippery as a snake. He never tells the truth, because... he never says *anything.*

There's lots of occasions where the board doesn't own much of the company. Pretty much whenever the founder or a family member of the founder is not on the board their collective ownership will be proportionally pretty low.

The operator records your thoughts and memories right up to the second they blank you out, then they play that recording back into the clone body. Your consciousness will register that you are still alive. Like being reassembled in the ST transporter. No real gap will be apparent to *you*, even if the playback is done years later.

Didn't Dorsey have input/decision making authority on his board of director appointments? He was running Twatter when it went public. So in effect, he chose the form of his destructor.

Further, the members of the board own very very little stock in the company they are supposed to be overseeing. So they have very little skin in the game.

Ten years ago I was mocking the anti-corporate Occupy Wall Street. Sure, I didn't support crony capitalism and despised mercantilism. But I wasn't spouting the anti-corporate jargon that I have no problem spewing now.

And 20 years ago, while I opposed the Iraq War, I wasn't sporting a No War For Oil sticker on the bumper a Bush Lied, People Died sticker.

And I didn't think let enforcement existed to stomp and mud hole in citizen asses, believe the court system was completely corrupt. I generally felt that if you weren't a crook, you weren't arrested.

But now I am, in some regards, a leftist. I think that corporations are evil entities that abuse us, we are cock-curious for a global conflict in Russia for business interests of the wealthy, and I believe the cops are oppressive, jack-boot thugs and the court system is rotten to the core.

243 Buckleyite conservatism was designed for the cold war era.

One of the real failures of the American right is that collectively we bought into the end of history with the fall of the Soviet Union and just sort of gave ourselves a pat on the back and laughed at that Clinton guy.

The left learned from losing their utopia though and rebuilt their strategies using the remains of the Soviet attack on freedom and combining it with Chinese style autocracy.

Looking back on it the biggest individual mistake we made is failing to remove Bush 41 from the top of the ticket in 92.

252 I don't think there's any evidence that Rasputin was having an affair with Empress Alexandra, although he certainly was a randy fellow and may have had affairs with other members of the nobility. Alexandra just thought he was a very holy man and was desperate to have healing for her son and so he gained control over she and Nicholas.
Posted by: FenelonSpoke at April 20, 2022 04:14 PM (fF2aM)

Pretty sure it was strictly about his supposed ability to cure Alexandra's son. I don't think Rasputin had any affairs with the high nobility, though he did come on to a few of them on occasion. It was more the case that they were jealous of his influence over Nicholas and Alexandra (especially after WWI started).

And they can't store everything indefinitely. The question is how much can they store. How many years worth before they have to erase the old to make room from the new. And anything they think interested can be flagged for permanent storage.

It's sad, he wants to rehabilitate his reputation - but, given all these revelations in the trial, what does this gain Depp? A "Google like" algorithm(s) would be a really, really cool tool to use on that metadata. If perchance someone back in the 80's or 90's thought to fund such an endeavor. With the caveat that turning it loose on the public would be part of the plan. Then the public can do some of the sifting and classification for the feds. For free.

If so, she hasn't yet reached that stage where the lips are overblown parodies of themselves. Ever see the way Mary Tyler Moore looked in her last years? Nicole still looks great by comparison.

And Nicole also is smart in that she is not still trying to play 19-year-olds or even 39-year-olds, but plays characters who are close to her age (55). Kubrick told her during Eyes Wide Shut always to look for the interesting characters (in other words, don't try to stay a young 29, be an *actress*). And she has.

And that storage is valuable if you're trying to break ciphers. Having a lot of examples of stuff lets you do things like look for patterns that shouldn't be there. A cipher suite that is impossible to crack with a handful of examples might reveal a heretofore unknown weakness when you have billions of samples. It would not surprise me at all if cryptanalysis is a big reason they siphon off so much data that are likely unreadable.

I believe that, because that's what he created, and until 2016, that's what he ran.

Never the less, I will agree on this - Depp loses the case. Too much there to determine someone willfully lied to damage him - but that's not the point of this. He wants to get his story out so he can work again - that insurance coverage will come back on suggested projects.

Urban isn't my favorite country singer by a long shot, but he seems like a very down-to-earth guy. Word is that Adele canceled her Vegas appearance because she wasn't getting the diva treatment (sparkling water wasn't the right temperature, or whatever). The casino or whoever it was hosting her called Urban to see if he would be willing to do a performance there instead, and he answered, "Give me a microphone and I'll be there."

I mean... some of them, maybe? But the bulk of people had to wait a while to buy a house, like now. Its a myth today that our ancestors were able to buy a house, have two cars, and raise 4 kids right out of high school. That's bullcrap.

Some could, because they were already wealthy, but everyone else had to establish themselves and work hard to get that car, get that house, etc. Young people want it all right now, right away, thinking they "paid their dues" by going to class for 4 years. Get out of here with that crap. Talk to dad or grand dad or great grand dad who paid his dues by working 20 years before they could get the family farm.

Look up the "Intel Management Engine". Bob pw0ns that, you can be sure.

Unbeknwost to most people, Intel has been putting a little computer inside a computer inside the chipsets for better than a decade. It's is own little 32-bit x86 CPU. It even has its own MAC address on the Ethernet channels.

And it's all proprietary. Look that up. Freak you out.

445 That said, if someone had video of some of my behind-the-scenes marital behavior, I would not come off well. I suspect that's true for a great many of us. Our worst moments generally don't make it into the obituary for a reason. We should be skeptical when a disgruntled ex shows up with a video and says this is representative of the whole.

Remember the book about 20 or 25 years ago, "What's the Matter with Kansas?" It was about how the rubes in Fly-Over Country were voting against their own economic interests by voting Republican.

Someone else on the Left needs to write a series of books about how Blue city and state voters keep voting against their own economic, quality of life, and other interests by continuing to vote Democrat.

Why are all the Tech Lords so weird looking?

-------

They start out weird, it's why they're in the computer biz. It's an industry for weirdos (no offense to the good weirdos in that field).

But they are surrounded by weirdos, and don't realize that they're weird, and just getting weirder by the day. The ones who rise to the top can only do so by also being horrendously evil, like anywhere else, because this is 21st century America and that's the way it works.

So you take concentrated weirdness, with the soupcon of unbridled wickedness, and it makes for some really strange-looking people. Like Eric Schmidt in his mirrored-jacket and tophat. Freakish.

You can be sure that if Bob got interested in you, very interested, he dispatch a little white van to get in range of all you electronics. That white van would send out a little "hello, daddy is calling" ping, probably via some direct RF method.

That would then activate all the special, undocumented features in the chip, probably open up a backdoor over any internet or cell connections you have active, all unbeknownst to you, and most likely the OS itself.

I am more and more sympathetic to that idea.

That whole time i said the media should be held liable for the death and destruction too, as they were the ones cheering it on for money and ratings, so they should be stripped of all that money.
