Here a deal. During a visit with Doc last month he asked if I wanted a booster. {Phizerized last April} Nope. We talked and agreed +/- the downside of current Covid was +/- the same as common flu.
He said "I bet you still have a high anti-body count, would you like to take a BT and see?" _Sure I like medical tests.
I forget the numbers but they came up high. High enough to not warrant need of a booster.
_this tale infers that Doc, by his practical experience, believed that the anti-bodies persist much longer than the "medical community" indicates.

Last Saturday in Ohio the temperature didn't quite get down to freezing, but there were gusts of wind and sleet & snow showers, which we had to drive through to reach a family event. Reminded me of the description of the Battle of Towton, which was fought under similar weather conditions on Palm Sunday in 1461.

All Trump did was tell the opposing candidates exactly what he thought of their positions and polices, and sometimes their personalities. I have an uncle who worked for GM and can ID old cars like an archaeologist with a single bone fragment. A couple of years ago I happened to be showing him some photos I took at an antique car show earlier.
He not only identified all the cars I’d taken pictures of, he identified the cars that had just one headlight or half of a fin off to the side of the photo.
Of course, different cars looked different back then.

After working a series of gas station jockey jobs, plus my dad being a used car dealer, I could identify most rolling iron on the roads. Sometimes though, it required getting up close to a parked car to read the stamped date on the tail lights to tell the difference between adjacent model years.
Nowadays, I'm just grateful that local LEOs are mostly driving Dodge Chargers, as their tail lights are quite distinctive and give me time to slow down when I spot them.

The light rail now runs from Northgate to well south of the airport. It is well used and efficient. Surprisingly so.
Seattle is not any worse then any other big city and ten times as beautiful.

IIRC the expansion plan presented to voters was to go west towards the Galleria and north towards the big airport. Then brouhahahas commenced with the proposed rail paths and the direct experience of business and neighborhood ruination, like you mentioned. So instead, Metro expanded east (Green Line) into the historic hispanic east end and southeast (Purple Line) into the historic african-american wards.

I am on 3 acres, so there is room to park even the biggest RV's, and I could get some sort of power to a couple at one, also a little water. There is a free sanitary dump in town. One motel in town, and several decent ones in the town 10 miles further off. I have one spare bedroom at the Manor.
People en route to Prince Rupert for the ferry would pass close, too. The chief place to diverge from going to Rupert and going to the Alcan Highway is a short distance West of Edmonton.
