American Foreign Policy Is Adrift. If There Is A Plan, It's A bad One, And if There Is No Plan, It's Just As Bad
It's hard to imagine a worse foreign policy than our current mess of reactive measures and half-measures and meaningless pontifications that emerge from the White House and the state department. We are in retreat everywhere, and have lost any sense of the simplest goals: to protect American interests throughout the world.
In fact it is difficult to see anything remotely good about our total capitulation to Iranian desires for nuclear weapons and Russia's interest in supporting Iran as a proxy to do mischief...and worse. Cui Bono? Who benefits? It's pretty clear that Iran and Russia benefit, and America and our staunch ally Israel are the losers in this charade. And to make matters worse, this author suggests that the Biden junta is selling out Ukraine just to get Russia's support of the catastrophic Iran deal! Ukraine first -- Israel next?Irina Tsukerman, a geopolitical and security analyst, suggests a more sinister linkage between Ukraine and the Iran deal. Biden could be sacrificing Ukraine in order to secure Russia’s co-operation in pushing the recalcitrant Tehran towards a deal, she argues. This may allow America to secure cheap Iranian oil, easing the squeeze on household budgets at home. Worse still, once the nuclear deal is done, Biden may seek to handcuff Israel to prevent it from taking further military action in Syria or against Iran itself. Why? With the US hooked on Iranian oil, Biden would need to “contain” the regime and prevent it from turning the financial screw by raising oil prices.
But why support Iran in the first place? What possible benefit is there, even in the fever dreams and masturbatory fantasies of Biden's handlers? How can a reconstituted Iranian nuclear weapons program help American interests in the region? How can relaxing restrictions on Iran's terror network benefit America? After all, these are the people responsible for a huge amount of terrorism (much of it directed at America) over the last 40 years. That includes the bombing of the Marine Corps barracks in Lebanon in 1983! And we will be lifting sanctions against Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan, who led IRGC forces in Lebanon and Syria when Hezbollah bombed the Marine compound in Beirut and killed 241 U.S. service members. The simplest reason for this insanity is a combination of two things: The first is the obvious dislike of Israel on the part of so many of the actors in this farce. Valerie Jarrett and John Kerry come to mind, but the traditional anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment in the U.S. State Department has been allowed to emerge. The second is a perverse desire for some sort of counterbalance to Israel's power in the Middle East. That it is benign, and is a huge positive matters not at all. These people would rather see a regional war than allow one country to have military dominance, especially a country that is unabashedly Western and Jewish. But by allowing Iran to produce nuclear weapons is a guarantee of much more instability in the region that can easily spill over to other places. An ascendant Iran will broaden its terrorist activities, including unleashing Hezbollah in Lebanon. That will provoke a response from Israel, including increasing its attacks on Hezbollah in Syria (where Iran funnels arms). Russia has so far allowed Israel to enter Syrian airspace to attack arms transiting to Lebanon, but how long will that last? Will Israel have to fight the Russians as well as the Syrians, the Iranians and Hezbollah? Of course China would never dream of taking advantage of regional unrest to further its own interests, so at least the world is safe from that complexity.

One could easily argue, at least since the collapse of the Soviet Union, American foreign policy HAS been about throwing its weight around, mostly to enrich the money men behind the politicians.
So whether it's Democrat or Republican, much of the rest of the world does have a case to be made, that a weaker U.S. (or from my perspective, a less intrusive) would be better for the world, overall. I think there's some truth to that. But at this point it's all corruption, all the way down, so there isn't anything like a coherent U.S. foreign policy anymore. Whoever is pushing Biden's buttons, they're not really American, in that none of them seem to have any loyalty to the American people.

I've gone on more liberal message boards and mentioned that if we want oil, there's nowhere in the world that processes it in a cleaner and more environmentally friendly way than North America.
And that if we get off oil, the only way we could ever possibly do it is with nuclear power, ala the way Europe originally attempted to do.

This is clearly a coordinated effort by the treasonous globalist Progresstitutes and their evil pimps Soros & Schwab to weaken America beyond repair. My prayer is that somehow there remains a greater number of sane adults willing to vote for spine-possessing Americans who can begin to dismantle the deep state. Alas, I also continue to make 2A investments. But I'm not sure I'm ready to concede that we're outnumbered. I think that's what the evil-in-charge is working overtime to make us all believe.

We have a world where the nominal elites see themselves as a class apart and have more affinity with each other than the countries that they supposedly represent. They get insider info on how messed up things actually are and it makes them focus on securing their own positions more than attempting to fix anything. And they are told what to do by the people in charge of the big corporations as that is how the elites build their personal wealth thru finances channeled to them by the corporations. And its hard to get the truth on anything as media is dependent on the corporations to live so they follow orders.

My theory is that the West simply cannot keep the plates spinning with all of the major economies in the world at multiples of debt to GDP and need someway to reorganize and restructure the debt and move the pieces around the chess board, I think whenever this deadly game of musical chairs comes to an end, there are going to be couple of countries left without a chair, The US may be one of those left standings.

You need to remember that much of our foreign aid is "tied" - it can only be used for purchasing certain things from American companies.
For example, we give foreign aid to a country to buy F-16's - it's basically a money transfer from the Federal government to General Dynamics.

I took a drive this morning. Gambling kitty was bucks up, so I decided to go play cards. Very relaxing. No clocks at an unnatural time, no Resident Biden, no Ukraine. Even as an energy and food importer China is in a pretty good position to weather some serious fuckery, here - so what we are likely seeing is the result of both the West and China prodding Putin to go all in. Western progs benefit from a war and China benefits from Putin shooting himself in the dick and jump starting certain Chinese currency initiatives out of desperation.
What I really want to know is - what is responsible for the rather extreme increase in in effectiveness of Western prog propaganda and manipulation efforts around late 2019 or so. It's like a whole different bunch of people took over operating on a different playbook, with the Floyd riots being the last hurrah of the old style.

What concerns me and has me in a total funk is the complete lack of any semblence of statemanship and the ease and rediness to shut off an entire country from world participation because you couldn't diplomatically find a solution. That's abject failure to the point it looks intentional. IMHO, not only did we poke the bear into invading Ukraine, we're conducting a war of anihilization against a target that did not attack us or any of our strategic interests. Iran is a pissant country with the GDP of Dallas-Fort Worth, almost all of which is derived by a commodity that must be exported by tanker and exposed pipeline. While I don't think it's right around the corner, Ezekiel 39 seems to point to a physical Russian attack on Israel along with other regional allies (Iran, maybe Turkey), which God himself will thwart. While I don't think it's imminent, you can see the pieces moving into place.

So yes, he doesn't want to go out like Lugar in Indiana. Taking on a president with military bona fides who is cleaning out the stables so to speak is not the best use of his considerable chits. The American public wants the military leadership cleaned out. Especially in a military state like Kentucky. Those country boys like to enlist. He'll pick a different way to screw with us. Not there.

Counter-balance against Israel. Aside from the foamy fantasy of such a need, why is Turkey not used for the counter-balance? While Obama pursued his (Jarret's) Iranian fever-dreams, it seemed that he (she) wanted a strong man in the area, but overlooked that Turkey was already an ally, and a NATO member. A touchy member, sure, but a member. Most of Turkey's anguish against the US was purely because Obama didn't choose them as recipient for his love and largess. I mean - truly: WTF?
