The thing is, it's not even interesting anymore.
I look back at 80s movies and wow, it was shocking! Now it's basically a uniform. All of my daughters did some radical hair coloring, but they did it in middle school or high school, which is when such juvenile things should happen.
Sort of like going with the "all black" look. Perfect for Freshman year. After that, a sign of emotional retardation.

Dad was a Korea era veteran (Army National Guard,) race car driver for Fiat in the 50s and early 60s, superintendent of public works, civil disaster planning expert, seafood restaurant manager, Formula One Grand Prix track manager, car repair expert, and greatest Dad. He taught me to shoot and to put a new engine in a car. After he retired he "just" volunteered with the Jeep posse search and rescue, restored an antique fire engine, and had a parking lot striping business. I'm sure he crammed at least 5 amazing lifetimes into years. I can't imagine how the sun will come up once he's gone.

I think most of the sensor codes pop up on the key test output whatchacallit, where you turn the ignition between accessory and off five or six times, and it spits out some of the codes in the odometer. That thing. I forget what it's actually called. But 90's-'00s jeeps i think all have that feature.

Some lifts, they do change the pinion angle. On these Jeeps with full-time 4-wheel drive, apparently the CV joint on the axle end of the front driveshaft can develop a vibration if the vehicle is lifted. And sometimes, not. If it does, the fix is to use a shaft with two Cardan joints.

I suspect it's something unique or it was misheard and is SARPat.
Which would be Sea, Air, Rescue Path or pattern.
This is when you know the area someone is in but it's large so a couple ships are assigned a path that will cover a large area quickly rather than just randomly.
You're sometimes given a base line course to work from to coordinate with other vessels you may not be able to see visually.

I have a little Autel code reader at home in Alberta. A scan tool is a different beast. You can use it to reset major systems in the vehicle, and can read the bus data stream.

Turns out it was 3 and 1/2. The half was while in a tight turn leaning way over the bike lost traction and the side pipes and crankcase contacted the pavement and spun me out sitting on top of the other side of the engine. I had quick reflexes and used to do tumbling in HS so I knew/know how to take a fall. Many people do not and they tighten up and try to stop which causes more damage. When tossed, try to relax and tuck and roll in the direction you're going. This will lessen the damage as it spreads the force over more of your body. Worst I ever got was I hurt my knee in landing or as I went over the handlebars. Still bothers me to this day.

Ergo, Purgatory. Sin is like pounding a nail into a board. You pull out the nail with forgiveness, i.e. confession and sacramental reconciliation, but the hole is still in the board. That gets filled in by penance, and if the holes are still there at death, well, you get to finish your penance, since nothing sinful or dirty gets into heaven.
If it weren't for Purgatory, a lot more folks would end up in hell. No matter how awful the suffering might be in Purgatory, you know you made it. Do the time, erase the crime.

300% increase in miscarriages over previous 5 year base line.
269% increase in MI (heart attacks). 291% increase in Bell's Palsy. 156% increase in congenital defects (for children born). 471% in female infertility. 467% in pulmonary embolism. 300% in cancer diagnoses. 1000% increase in neurological disorders.
Again, that is hard data from the military medical system.

Sure. Read Maccabees 12:39-46, wherein prayers are said for the dead to purify them for heaven. But since Protestants chucked out a bunch of books, try Revelations 21:27, which states that nothing unclean will enter heaven. Matthew 5:25-26 also addresses atonement for sin, which the Church Fathers (particularly Tertullian) explained as discussing purification after death.
1 COR 3:11-15 is probably the clearest explanation. Paul explains purification by fire, testing the works of those who have passed. This describes Purgatory plainly.
NOT trying to proselytize or convert anybody here, just stating what the Catholic Church has always understood, from Scripture and then from the Church Fathers.

I've read a lot about VAERS since all this mess started. The trashing of VAERS started when, after the Coof vax rollout, you saw a massive spike in VAERS reports. I mean you had to rescale the screen, making all the previous years look like nothing. So, they started this "oh, ignore that, it's self-reporting".
But truth is, every analysis has shown that VAERS actually under counts. It doesn't catch all of them. The only question is how much. Conservative estimates were a factor of 10. High estimates are 50, even higher. And of course, it will vary by the severity of the AE. Minor events would be more likely to be under-reported than major ones.
Jessica Rose, comparing VAERS miscarriage data to that leaked military data found a 47x under-reporting factor for miscarriages.

Problem is I never broke the nicotine part, just the smoking.

well...I closed on the old house dec 8. After that miserable move from hell I vowed to party the entire holidays. Not crazy, but maybe a couple shots worth every night, although I did get slightly ripped up a few nights when people came over. Then new years came, and I still had a small supply left, so it's the weekend. Once it's gone I'll go back to my social drinking habits.

Yeah. I found one of the things since I have been trying to step back from vaping: more goes in to smoking than just the nicotine. It is also the pausing, breathing deep and not doing anything but thinking or something idle.

It never happened, ever. I had a 100% perfect record until the morning I heard about OM passing. I grabbed a shot to toast him while the coffee was still brewing. Well I was never much of a drinker. I CAN drink, but I don't crave alcohol, I don't have the gene, so it was always a social thing. Yeah, sometimes it was every night, but never a lot. Very rare I get smashed. So it was a kind of inside joke that I never drink before 12 noon, because I never did. On vacation I'm all about the breakfast. I hit that buffet, pile the plate and put a bacon roof on that bad boy. Then I go out for a smoke and see people drinking at 10 am by the pool..in the hot sun... and I would think dammm I don't like it enough for that. lol

If you believe that God lives outside of our timeframe, that He knows our past, present, and yes future, that He is All-Powerful and All-Knowing, to say that we, as Christians, can catch Him off-guard and He says, "My bad, you aren't saved after all since you committed this heinous sin, so you're not saved anymore", this goes against Him being All-knowing.

I played ball into college but that's where my talent, as it was, ended. But I was around a lot of guys who were far better and what most of them had in common was that they were morons. Not the good kind. That was their underlying trait not an addiction issue.
The worst thing about the cigarette vs weed argument is that most people who argue about it have zero experience with either.
You give young guys from largely poor to middle class backgrounds gazillions of dollars and they are going to young guy stuff, particularly when they are rock stars. Drugs and girls and rock and roll is a by product not the cause.
Can you imagine going from the projects to making millions a year and being treated as a rock star in 5 minutes? The addiction is the lifestyle not weed.

A friend of mine who was on chemo felt better almost immediately - like within 5 minutes - after getting high. The drugs they gave him to counteract the chemo took hours and had other nasty side effects.

Made the mistake of doing laundry while tripping. Laundromat. Got the washers filled and started, then The Storm began to brew. Oh, sh.t oh dear...could barely wait for the washers to finish and took all my wet clothes home to dry over the shower bar, backs of chairs, wherever. It was. so. fking. hilarious.
NO WAY was I gonna stick around to use the dryers!
