Bizarrely, Biden was right. War on Poverty and Voting Rights were passed while MLK was alive. His assassination burned out Watts, Harlem and Newark, but that's about it; he was largely successful in his goals during his lifetime. Floyd's death made many more big cities into hellscapes, and LIVs were cowed into thinking if Biden were elected then the violence would stop. Multinational corporations embraced the BLM agenda, and it supercharged the ESG and DEI movements. Unfortunately, Biden is right on this one.

Well, that's the entire agenda. The entire agenda had four prongs: the economy (fail), COVID (fail), BBB (hated, will probably fail), Afghanistan withdrawal (fail). King's death did not really affect the 1968 election the way Floyd's death affected the 2020 election. That is mostly because there was already so much upheaval in society in 68. The biggest difference to me is how big city Dem mayors handled the rioting in each year. In June 68 Mayor Daley sent thousands of cops to beat the sh!t out of the hippies during the Dem convention riots. In 2020 they just watched it all burn.

I don't mean economically, although that was true, I mean that when FDR took over the Republican Party just stopped being an opposition party and even trying to do anything to prevent his enormous wave of activity.
FDR just started doing stuff and the Republicans went along in congress because they were scared or figured that's what America wanted, or they wanted to be seen as DOING SOMETHING.
No matter how outrageous or extreme left, no matter how ridiculously socialist and radical, it just went through until a few things were stopped by the Supreme Court. FDR whined that he couldn't do things like every other world leader... at a time when Moussolini, Hitler, and Stalin were prominent world leaders.

in 2021 you could get chicken wings in bulk. He would go to a wings place and put his usual order in to cater a lunch at a plumbing supply house, and the owner told him that it was a months supply and he couldn't sell it to him.
Basically, we used to get 60% of our food from out of house - restaraunts etc. In 2020 that whole supply chain shut down, which had effects on its infrastructure what was left of the supply chain vis a vis grocery stores.
The world is a lot more delicately balanced than the masters of the universe would have you believe.

Better, different companies are using different bands, especially for the lower parts of 5G (it actually uses three different freq bands, part of which used to be the 3G band).
With sidebands, heterodyning freqs, multiple freq ranges used, this could be a REAL mess.

That is one of the problems with long service in office. A politician can become jaded and despise everyone because people comes to them with their problems and a lot of them have their hands out. Similarly, the typical politician has to grub for money and votes by jollying these people up. Well the cdc is going to stop reporting the number of covid deaths at the beginning of February, so that part of the plan is already in the mix.

Part of the problem for the 1930s GOP was that Hoover was already doing a lot of the things that FDR would continue between 1929 and 1932. The image of Hoover taking a hands-off attitude towards the Great Depression is a Democrat fabrication. I should point out that I'm not saying what he did worked or would have worked (it didn't when FDR tried it, either) but that the GOP didn't oppose what FDR was doing because they agreed those things should be done. They only started to oppose when it came to some of his more obviously socialist and almost outright fascist schemes.
