104 From a Chicago Trib article:
Name: Edith Vonnegut

Background: She painted angels in the subways of New York City, idyllic cherubs right down there with the graffiti and the dregs of subterranean civilization. She lived the gritty life of a starving artist in the urban jungle for 15 years. Then Edith Vonnegut made the move she was convinced would wipe out her career: She got married, hauled off to Cape Cod and had babies.

"Girls with children aren't REAL artists," she told herself, though she held onto that paintbrush through her first pregnancy.

She was in for the surprise of her lifetime.

"There I was scrubbing diapers," says the 49-year-old mother of two, "but I really found my true inspiration for painting. In my estimation, I didn't really come alive 'til I became a mother. Suddenly the lights went on. My fodder is my children."

For the last 12 years, all the while raising her boys, Will, 12, and Buck, 9, she has been painting what she calls her "domestic goddesses," real women -- often mothers -- heroically depicted doing the dirty work of the homefront.

There has been very little science involved with the whole plandemic.

This has been the case since at least, oh, March of 2020.

I was listening to Dr. Scott Seagall who is a FOX contributor talking about Omicron and how viruses mutate and differentiate as they circulate through populations and we will have to how bad this variant is.

I was like, ok ummm, this has been an established scientific fact for decades and left out is that as viruses circulate through populations they tend to attenuate in virility not amplify.

And he was saying this as if this was some new revelation. As has been said, Virology and epidemiology are no longer a thing.

311 182 the difference between legit saran wrap and the knock off stuff you get at dollar tree is night an day. That is nto always the case, but with this one I am sure. There is little more frustrating that trying to use knock off saran wrap. A. it doesn't cling, and B. it is near impossible to get it to come off right.

There is some good stuff at Dollar Tree and other discount stuff. But unless you enjoy severe aggravation, go for the legit plastic wrap.

Best bets are good scrubbing with a striping product to remove all wax and dirt. Plenty of rinse water. A clean even moderate application of a good floor wax. Followed with regular cleaning and applications of a buffing product. Perferably this happens at night after hours so you can work normal day shifts after you are done. Unless it is a berthing area then daytime floor work keeps the night shift guys awake for the excitement of a clean floor.

379 Like her father and her grandfather, Edith Vonnegut has talent. If you look at her body of work, you'll see she's also inherited her father Kurt's pessimism regarding the human condition.

Kurt Vonnegut's father, Kurt Vonnegut, Sr., was an amazing architect, truly extraordinary. I'm from Indianapolis and was once invited to an art function in a mansion the senior Vonnegut had designed for a prominent Indianapolis businessman, and everything about that house was beautiful and just right, somehow. The spiral staircase flowed, for lack of a better word. I doubt he was a pessimist.

I thought the same thing, but that story was accurate enough.

The SA had a long document (50+ pages) with instructions for having anti-racism meetings. It was CRT fuckery with a Christian veneer from beginning to end, and listed Kendi and "White Fragility" as resources.

It used to be here:

They say now that they were misunderstood, but there really was a section asking white people to "repent" for the church's history of racist acts, even if they don't feel that they personally did anything wrong.

- Many informants were authorized to commit "crimes" with the permission of their federal handlers. In a four-year period, there were 22,800 crime authorizations (2011-2014).

This is why I originally supported Jeff Sessions' working in the administration. He brought up the H1B visa situation on the floor of the Senate. It's a two-fer: hire foreigners at a lower salary than American programmers, and keep them as virtual indentured servants because their employment is tied to their corporate visa. They can't easily ask for raises, and no other company will take on the legal expense of sponsoring them. Bad all around, and it's the tech companies - not manufacturing - that are at the forefront of this development.

Abraham, Moses, the people of Israel, Jesus, the early church, and many other notables were all refugees. In response, Scripture is forcefully replete with the admonition to care for the alien and foreigner in your midst.
___________

I'm so tired of all this "refugee" bullshit. None of these people are coming here because they're being persecuted. All of them are coming here for one reason: because they want more stuff.

"I want a better paying job," "I want a better standard of living," "I want an education so I can get a better job," etc. All of them are saying the same thing: they want more money, so they can get more stuff. That doesn't make them refugees, that makes them economic opportunists. And there is no reason why the U.S., or western Europe for that matter, should be indulging these stuff-seeking foreigners at the expense of their own populations.

in my six years of posting and fifteen years of reading and once getting hat tipped by Ace a good fifteen years ago, I never give stock picks or predict such things. I have always said that and pretty much still agree with myself lol.

But i have to say I have never seen a more consistent and possibly manipulated market than the one since Biden. No one wants the market to go down unless they are short or betting against America. But I have never seen a market before that is so consistent in showing it never wants to go down, for "some reason".

I don't want to get into economics, market predictions etc. Sure, inflation can cause the market to go up, it is logical. But when the market goes up during Repub admins, the Dems trash it, say it doesn't matter, it doesn't reflect the economy, etc.

Posted by: Quint at November 29, 2021 11:26 AM (e1mwr)

546 I thought there was a big upswing based on the commentary, not so much. One thing about crashes, is that they often follow massive market moves to the upside and the downside.
