During closing arguments, either Littlefinger or Fatlock complained of some blogger "who doesn't like the Kenosha DA's office."

What did that mean?

Well, Rekieta thinks he know the answer, and it's about this article.

From the Kenosha Eye:

Kenosha's DA, Michael Graveley (D) made the decision to charge Rittenhouse with a large plethora of felonies. Usually Graveley takes high profile cases, but in this case, he didn’t want to. Most of the legal community believes that the State will be unable to obtain a conviction against Rittenhouse. Instead of a possible "L" Graveley tasked two of his most liberal prosecutors to prosecute Rittenhouse -- Jason Zapf, son of the embattled former Kenosha DA, Robert Zapf and T. Clair Binger, a Racine man who unsuccessfully ran for Racine DA and was involved in at least one physical domestic disturbance with a girlfriend.

We were also tipped off that T. Clair Binger has been living, at least in small lengths at a time, with one of his best friends, Kenosha Judge Chad Kerkman (D). We aren't able to tell you if they are still living together or for how long. We reached T. Clair by email and during a fiery exchange, he refused to answer our questions about his living arrangements, instead calling this publication cowardly. We also reached out to Judge Kerkman who didn't wish to comment. Kerkman was recently elected for another 6 years.

Rekieta says -- he says this cannot be fully confirmed, but he says this is alleged -- that a prior email address of T. Clair Binger's was "flufferboy2004" or something like that.

He'll also be talking about the motion for mistrial with prejudice, published by the Daily Mail.

I am really wondering if this is an inflection point in the history of anglo style law. Making allowances for the shambolic state of the rest of the anglosphere, of course - we've sorta been holdouts, to an extent.

We've had worse trials, but this has to be a new high water mark for transparently absurd, disgusting, and dishonest prosecution. It's the video, the circumstances, and the larger picture of what is going on in the country. Will we have rule of law, or is the legal profession cool with shredding the most basic social contracts?

I mean, it doesn't even matter what the *verdict* is. If the prosecution can get away with behaving like this - then what is the fucking point? Where is the value in not hoisting the black flag if the rule of the day becomes that THEY are allowed to, and we're not allowed to fight back?

What moral argument is there for pretending that this is all working out? Do lawyers and judges really not understand where this is going?

Czarist Russia and later the USSR could have vanished off the face of the earth with significantly less economic dislocation than we saw in 2008, let alone the last year or two.

But if the US bites it, we're taking a large (if smaller every year) chunk of the rest of the world with us.

I am optimistic about what we consider "us" carving out some sort of nation but think we're looking at a generation or two before we regain the standard of living that was lost. Economic recovery would go faster if it wasn't on the far side of the coming Thunderdome.

Consider that the former USSR still hasn't fully recovered and it's been about 30 friggin' years.
