4 Brought Smash down here for a competition in Tang Soo Do yesterday. She had six other ladies in her division. She took 2nd place in sparring and 3rd place in weapons as well as open hand forms. I'm proud of her.

Yeah, my writing skills are strangely slipping this morning. Big black Wolf passed away yesterday afternoon, probably acute renal failure -- he'd exhibited the symptoms. 266 Saw DUNE last night -

I liked it but didn't love it. Basically, it hit all the same scenes as David Lynch's version only at a lower key and a slower pace and ended at roughly the midpoint of that movie.

The 1984 version explained much better what Spice was and why it was important by "showing" us how it changes everything around it. In 2021, Spice ism mentioned vaguely once, and somehow uses giant elongated urinals as Star Gates.

Most of the duplicated scenes were done better in the Lynch version. Cuz they were quick, snappy, and alien feeling and looking as befits 10000 years in the future.

Better actors in 84 as well. And Baron harkkonen was a stone cold bore. BONUS! Not a lot of acting required by Zendaya.

Anywho, I'd like to see part two and hope they finish things with more vim and vigor.

I look at the mask as reducing my exposure to some PEL (permissible exposure level). I think the virus is in the air everywhere. Ponder this, if 80% of victims are overweight or obese... which group gets out of breath climbing a flight of stairs or just plain old walking around? It doesn't take a leap of faith to assume they have to take more breaths then fit people. Which equals higher exposure. As to concern or signaling to other people, I have no fvcks to give.
