F. Joe Biden, the Corrupt Leftwing Incompetent Propagandized for by NeverTrump, Is Destroying the Economy and May Plunge Us Into a New Depression

Deb Heine wrote about F. Joe Biden's bizarre "whispering press conference" in June.

In that press conference, F. Joe Biden stated that employers would have to compete against the government's welfare payments if they wanted to attract labor. We're now seeing the effects of negatively incentivizing work. Turns out, when you make work not just a cost in the worker's time but also literally charge him money to work, workers won't work.

Biden also made a specific claim about inflation, as Deb now notes:

Deb Heine, Dissident
@NiceDeb

Biden during his whisper presser on 6/24: Experts say "inflation is it's going to pop up a little bit and then go back down."

Also: "If it turns out that what I've done so far--what we've done so far--is a mistake, it's going to show." Well Joe, it's showing.

Indeed, it is showing big-time. Year-over-year inflation for some everyday goods:

Ground beef: + 10.6 percent.
Steaks: +22.1 percent.
Bacon: +19.3 percent.
Pork roasts, ribs, steaks: +19.2 percent.
Chickens: +17.1 percent.
Fresh fish: +10.7 percent.
Eggs: +12.6 percent.
Peanut Butter: +6.2 percent.
Apples: + 7.8 percent.
Ham: +7 percent.
Baby food: +4.4 percent.

Is anyone in the propaganda press interested in checking F. Joe Biden's proclamations against the factual record, or are they just clickbait hate sites now?

How about the Conservative, Inc. "Thought" Leaders who pushed for the election of F. Joe Biden? Do they have anything to say about this?

Even leftwing apparatchik Larry Summers is warning about the doom Biden is making for us.

Summers, who was Secretary of the Treasury under Clinton and then a national economic adviser under Obama, says that the Fed is pushing a highly inflationary monetary policy for politics-- out of "wokeness," and I guess to appease Alexandria Donkey-Chompers.

You can't spend limitless dollars unless the fed prints limitless dollars.

And that's what they're doing.

Former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers castigated monetary policy makers in the U.S. and elsewhere for paying too much attention to social issues and not enough to the biggest risk to inflation since the 1970s.

We have a generation of central bankers who are defining themselves by their wokeness," Summers, who is now a professor at Harvard University, said on Wednesday. "They're defining themselves by how socially concerned they are."

Speaking to a virtual conference organized by the Institute of International Finance, Summers compared the arguments by the Federal Reserve and other central banks downplaying the risk of inflation to those made by former Fed chairs Arthur Burns and G. William Miller, who presided over the central bank in the 1970s when the annual pace of price rises often topped 10%.

"We're in more danger than we've been during my career of losing control of inflation in the U.S.," the 66-year-old Summers, a paid contributor to Bloomberg, said....

Fed policy makers last year adopted a more inclusive approach toward their goal of achieving maximum employment, going well beyond the headline unemployment rate. They have pledged to keep their benchmark interest rate near zero even as inflation surges, committing to ensure greater progress in the job market.

Central bankers have also been increasingly discussing incorporating climate-change concerns into their work.

Thanks to SMOD for that.

President Ron Klain is actually happy about the inflation and shortages -- he says these are "high class problems" he's glad America has.

Peter Navarro says that Jimmy Carter called and he wants his 1970s deflation back.

Navarro notes that all the circumstances that caused stagflation in the 70s are present again.

Except this time, conditions are worse. The overprinting of fake dollars is substantially worse.

A feckless Team Biden has set America up for a new round of 1970s-style stagflation. The similarities between then and now are eerie.

Seventies stagflation resulted from profligate fiscal policy, politicized monetary policy and food and energy shocks. President Lyndon Johnson's guns-and-butter decision to simultaneously finance both the Vietnam War and his Great Society programs triggered a wave of demand-pull inflation.

After President Richard Nixon appointed Arthur Burns as Federal Reserve chair, Burns cranked up the Fed printing press in support of Nixon's re-election efforts. The resulting currency debasement forced Nixon to abandon the US dollar standard, the linchpin of the global monetary system; the dollar cratered, driving up import prices and further stoking inflation.

This May 4, 2021, file photo shows the Federal Reserve building in Washington.
Yet another Biden claim -- that inflation is 'temporary' -- proves wrong
The US economy also suffered two crippling supply-side crises. Food prices soared as a result of bad weather, Soviet grain purchases and cropland mismanagement. Energy prices skyrocketed, thanks to the Arab oil embargo.

Say, aren't energy prices skyrocketing right now, not due to an Arab oil embargo, but an American embargo on the production of oil imposed by Biden himself?

Policies that have reduced US energy production by fifteen percent? Nearly one sixth?

Winter heating prices set to explode upwards by 54%.

- Get ready to pay sharply higher bills for heating this winter, along with seemingly everything else.

With prices surging worldwide for heating oil, natural gas and other fuels, the U.S. government said Wednesday it expects households to see their heating bills jump as much as 54% compared to last winter.

Nearly half the homes in the U.S. use natural gas for heat, and they could pay an average $746 this winter, 30% more than a year ago. Those in the Midwest could get particularly pinched, with bills up an estimated 49%, and this could be the most expensive winter for natural-gas heated homes since 2008-2009.

This thread documents the War on Energy F. Joe Biden has been waging since day one of his fake presidency.

Rather than undoing his anti-energy executive actions, Biden is instead merely pleading with energy producers to lower their prices and eat a loss in order to bail F. Joe Biden out for the midterms.

He's also begging foreign suppliers -- OPEC and Russia -- to produce more oil to offset the huge price increases he himself has mandated through executive actions.

Say, what did F. Joe Biden say about food shortages and presidential responsibility for same, back in the early days of covid?

Politico finally notices that alleged "Secretary of Transportation" Pete Bootyjudge has been MIA even as cargo ships and trucks -- you know, transportation -- are snarled and unable to deliver goods.

He's been playing house with the other gay dad. He's been out for two months -- two months of paternity leave.

For a guy.

Who also has a critical job. During a crisis involving his job.

To spend time with his two Future Presidential Campaign Props.

While U.S. ports faced anchor-to-anchor traffic and Congress nearly melted down over the president’s infrastructure bill in recent weeks, the usually omnipresent Transportation secretary was lying low.

One of the White House’s go-to communicators didn't appear on TV. He was absent on Capitol Hill during the negotiations over the bill he had been previously helping sell to different members of Congress. Conservative critics tried (unsuccessfully) to get #WheresPete to trend and Fox News ran a story on October 4 with the headline: "Buttigieg quiet on growing port congestion as shipping concerns build ahead of holidays."

They didn't previously announce it, but Buttigieg's office told West Wing Playbook that the secretary has actually been on paid leave since mid-August to spend time with his husband, Chasten, and their two newborn babies.

They covered up that a cabinet member had taken two months off. They're only admitting it now to make excuses for his absence.

"For the first four weeks, he was mostly offline except for major agency decisions and matters that could not be delegated," said a spokesperson for the Department of Transportation. "He has been ramping up activities since then." As he does that, Buttigieg will "continue to take some time over the coming weeks to support his husband and take care of his new children," the spokesperson added.

Stop acting like he was a SEAL. https://twitter.com/walshfreedom/status/1448992087375065090

Say, if Pete Bootyjudge secretly skips out on work for two months and no one notices, what does that say about what Pete Bootyjudge brings to the table?

And what does it say about most cabinet positions generally?

Buy a carton or two of milk to go with it, or if I was really rich that day, splurge on the chocolate shake and a bag of Planter's peanuts to mix in.

I never, NEVER thought of school as a source of good food. Because it wasn't. One thing I will do though to get ahead of the upcoming shortages. I've never felt the need to buy a breadmaker, 'cause it's not the Atkins or Keto thing to do. But sometimes, breads are necessary. And if they're not on the shelf, then I'll make my own.

62 F. Joe Biden, the Corrupt Leftwing Incompetent Propagandized for by NeverTrump, Is Destroying the Economy and May Plunge Us Into a New Depression
++++
We've been teetering on the edge for a while. The 2008 disaster *should* have been a depression. We'd be better off it had been. Trump, with his huge and revolutionary energy, trade and economic policies were the first light punching through the clouds in a decade. Even then interest rates were still too low, too much money was being printed and the government spending was too high - but there was at least something of an offset.

But even the Trump boom was more fragile than it looked. Then COVID happened and strained a lot of things, but didn't quite break them. Not immediately. Then Biden and his maladministration ended those titanic trade, energy and economic policies that were holding - barely - the monster at bay.

The monster broke through. Unless the maladministration throws the brakes on everything they've done, re-institutes most of Trump's policies, backs off of destructive COVID policies and cracks down hard on CA/etc. policies that compound the problem, etc., a depression if not outright collapse is coming.

sorry I missed last thread, but here is LCPS superintendant's press conference statement, where he blames high growth in the county (for the last 30 years) making "informal protocols and school-based autonomy" no longer practical.
That's kind of buried in there (wait, we actually have informal school based autonomy on rape?) with a general whine about Title IX, which they had three months to deal with between conclusion of LCSO criminal investigation and the second assault.
The local Dem social media flying monkeys are all over it, whatabouting Trump because it's really all Betsy DeVos' fault.

And when their friends, whom they can trust and share very similar cultural experiences with, tell them something that is against the media narrative, they're still going to believe the media.

Therefore, when these shortages are reported, along with inflation, they'll believe whatever bullshit is reported and not think for one second that it has anything to do with communists taking over our country. We are boned.

It will be worse than the 70s if they keep this up. In the 70s we had really insane monetary and fiscal policy, but we also had an economy. A real one, that made stuff. Our industrial base now has been hollowed out in favor of the "information economy." We don't do enough of the rest of the stuff to keep people employed, and a whole lot of that stuff that we *do* still have is being done by illegal aliens under the table. It isn't hopeless, but it's bad. It's worse than it was in the 70s and if someone makes a mistake and causes an accident to happen, it will collapse. That wasn't true in the 70s, where it was seriously fucked up but robust. We're now serious fucked up and fragile.

- - -

And this is totally driven by the schools -- they want this. Way back when my kid was in public elementary school they would send home applications for the free lunch program, encouraging everyone to do it regardless of need. Then they piloted a free breakfast programm for the district. Weekly they sent fkyers reminding kids to use it, inviting paents to join in -- we need lots to take part to prov it;s needed at all schools! Since then I;ve heard they started sending home backpacks full of food with kids on Friday to eat over the weekend, and also a summer food truck to serve lunches when school is out.

This is driven by "educators" and bureaucrats and the teachers unions for some reason.

Not an argument - you make a good point. I saw American Industry leaving America firsthand - it was happening long before NAFTA. They didn't use the word "exploit", but it was almost implicit that before the black people started in the main seeing the free markets as a system that works, it was important to keep blacks seeing themselves as victims, and exploit them as the "have nots".

199 Lizzy, the lunch policy was grossly expanded under Michelle Obama's interest in kids and food.
To participate in what school lunches became, fed dollars were contingent on EVERYONE doing it, i/e making it available to everyone in the jurisdiction regardless of need.
So yeah, breakfast lunch snack and dinner, and in Loudoun, it kept all the food service workers and busdrivers working through the pandemic, delivering meals to also-paid fed workers in their large lot half-million and up homes.
And the fed workers who never missed a paycheck LOVED it, because it was so convenient with both of them teleworking, and anyway, it's freeeeeee.
To stop it means to give up significant fed dollars, and lots of counties around the country have to really budget (ours SHOULD really budget. really.) to cut that cord

We had a backpack program sponsored by a "charity" run by former owner of a hockey team (Penguins?) Huge annoyance for office staff, teachers because of paperwork. It was supposed to be discrete, but wasn't. Some families were pissed because their kids got reduced lunch but they used public assistance the right way and their kids didn't go hungry.

Also, kids were throwing all but the cereal and processed fruit snacks into the garbage on their way to the bus, so the custodians took it upon themselves to rescue the food and bring it to the church-run pantries.

Our new superintendent got rid of that and the summer "feeding station" that wasn't getting any local kids.

You wanna know who inflation hurts most if wages don't keep up (and they aren't)? The poor. Why? Because the poor spend all of their money.

This isn't some great revelation or discovery, nor is it a judgement. It is merely a fact. If you're poor, it takes everything you've got just to get by. As you earn a little more, that all gets spent, too, until you get to the middle class. Only then can you have the breathing space to save. So when prices go up and wages don't, the people with breathing space will be better able to weather the storm. It will knock some of the middle class down into being poor, but even then they're better off than the people who were poor to begin with.

All of this hurts the poor most. More members of protected Democrat identity groups tend to be poor, but it isn't that they're in those classes that they suffer. They suffer because they're poor, and they're being destroyed by this.

Posted by: Joe Mannix (Not a cop!) at October 15, 2021 01:36 PM (DU+/6)

207 The Left's policies are all based on the fallacy that we, as a wealthy nation, have a limitless supply of money. We can simply print what we need do any whim. It's disconnected from economic reality and issues such as prices, inflation and currency value.

That's exactly what an administration would do that doesn't believe in such ideas.

And that's what I believe the Obama Wing subscribes to as far as economics. They believe in a command and control economy. A Soviet style economy. In such an arrangement, currency doesn't have intrinsic value. So print as little or as much as you like.

That's what we're watching. An administration implementing a command and control economy. Don't act surprised that they're destroying the currency. They don't give a fvck about the currency - it's just a simple expedient. Easier than writing every citizen an order of the day.

223 A major red flag as a parent is seeing other parents who refuse to take the very minimum of 10 minutes to whip up their kids some bacon and eggs and a glass of whole milk for breakfast. Hell, have the oldest or older sibling do it if you can't or a grandparent or whomever is watching the kids while you are busy or at work.
The laziness involved in pumping kids up with easy grains and sugar and HFCS in the morning or making them go hungry expecting the schools to provide garbage for breakfast is rage inducing.

Don't @me, I'm busy as fuck and have always cooked my kids breakfast, prepared hot lunches, and dinners. I also make delicious protein smoothies for them if in a rush or as a treat.

For currency, I'll call it Cloward-Piven, despite that (I believe it was) Adorno at the founding of the Frankfort School wrote about "collapsing the system".

But the Cloward-Piven strategy does not require them to *believe* that there is an endless supply of money, just fool the constituency to demand that their leaders *act* as if there was an endless supply of money. And, as typical you can sell other people on things that you've already sold yourself on.

This is misreading the situation: it's not about his sexuality or about paternity leave per se, but calling people homophobic for being critical of Pete is so easy and satisfying, eh?

Pete took a critical role in the current admin and his sector is experiencing a crisis. It would be one thing if Pete were physically incapacitated/recovering from giving birth. He's not, his paternity leave is taking time to adjust to fatherhood. People expect him to recognize that his cabinet job requires him to put family second during a crisis. This is expected of cabinet members in general, regardless of gender or sexual preference.

As far as bloodline components to nobility go, you can basically disregard that. The way ancestry works everyone has a bunch of noble ancestors so it's a matter of rediscovery when sufficient status and wealth is had by a present generation. For that matter degrees are actually titles. In many countries a baron is a guy with a house. You'll note he considers himself distinct from the bourgeoisie(who we could consider rich people today, they're basically nouveau riche).

Being a top executive - public sector or private - means you're going to need to work constantly. You have to travel a lot. Your phone is always ready to ring, and you're always ready to answer it. You work around the clock. You don't keep normal "office hours." It's the way those gigs work.

There's a reason, as well, that these gigs pay so much. You work all the time, you're away from home a lot and you can't say "no." There are always exceptions, but in general, that's the way it is. Even if Pete were straight and took paternity leave when his wife had a baby, staying off duty without putting an interim replacement in place is irresponsible and unacceptable.

Every week they will have something new that breaks things and demoralizes you in new ways. The pain and misery of last week will be covered up by the current week and people will be left numb and isolated. Fixing things would only slow the destruction down. There will be no solutions.

Remember Afghanistan? Remember the invasion across the border? They're not going to do jack to help. They want the world to burn and will delight in seeing a large portion of the peasantry roast in the flames.

He's surprised like why wouldn't you marry me!!!??? So full of himself he can't even understand he is personally unbearable, and his political views infantile and detestable, and that a woman of any merit would steer well clear of him no matter the titles he carried as a matter of his birth. 375 Buses for schools got a boost when they started making the schools become desegregated and students needed to be bused in. I didn't ride a school bus until we moved 3 miles out of town. No sidewalks, no bus lines or trains.

Now everyone gets to ride cause so many don't live in the area where they go to school. Used to be every month or so the old media would do a story about some kid had an hour bus ride when he lived across the street from a different school.

And as all things that make money once the government got involved the costs went up and they took those costs from the taxes and the school boards and principals got more control and power and of course the teachers got more money. Soon there were kids who were sent to school with no lunch so gotta fix that and there you have it. We spend most of the money for schools on stuff that isn't education and what education gets done is limited and contorted by making sure some kid doesn't have his self esteem crushed.

$300 per month for the nine months of the school year is $2,700 per year. Philly per-pupil spending around $24,500. So the transportation giveaway is about 11%. That's a big chunk, but likely small enough for them to rationalize it - especially as it will likely lead to even more funding.

427 I have serious questions about voting for Trump in 2024. If I thought he could get the job done It wouldn't bother me but we've seen that the bureaucracy will work against him at every step if not out right sabotage and refusal to do as ordered. How will that help things? I know they shouldn't get rewarded for their bad behavior but what can be done when they're the ones who control the government where the rubber meets the road and the guy at the top is just for guidance. If they don't allow the guidance then we're screwed from day one.

Fact is I don't believe any President will be allowed to run the government ever again. We know Biden isn't running this one. Afghanistan was such a mess because too many factions had their fingers in and were going to make the others look bad. Turned out only the country looked bad. We no longer have a government. We no longer have many into one. We have one or two or so divvied up into satrapies and a loose cooperative agreement. That's no way to run a government for a nation as large as this one.

449 If they're talking about this, it must mean they want Biden to resign citing his mental retardation--and he's refusing.

451 The biggest unanswered question: did the Loudoun County Schools participant in Obama era
PROMISE (Preventing Recidivism Through Opportunities, Mentoring, Interventions, Support and Education.) program, like Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School ?

Our major stupidity didn't start until Dem majority BoS (elected in response to 2016) got our stunning and brave end-the-school-to-prison-pipeline black mental health worker chair a voting majority, and she started networking with her equity buddies.
(and yes, delta sigma theta. HER DST board office aide had to resign after charged with embezzlement from the sorority)

452 Any suggestions from the Horde as to what's a good machine to buy?

I’m a big fan of the West Bend model 47413. See link in nic for me going on and on about it. It’s very similar to the Black and Decker B6000C which is no longer made.

454 How long before the Buttigieg's can have sex again?

Two men by definition cannot have sex. The most they can do is masturbate using each other's genitals and/or GI tract for friction.

459 Is there anything that Democrats can do without lying, cheating, or stealing?

460 Another conservative making a literal sodomite into superman which I guess is perfect now since superman is now shirt lifter. I do not understand how anyone can continue to be conservative when this is what it comes down to, lionizing blacks, browns, women, ass bandits, and trannies over the people that actually vote for you. Weak! Stupid ! Pathetic!
