Surprise 2: Loudoun School District Has Been Covering Up Sexual Assaults For Years

Virginia law requires public schools to report specifically named serious crimes.

R4pe is obviously a serious crime on that list.

But the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) has refused to report those. They have a clean record.

It is little wonder that they claimed they had "no reports" of sexual assaults in bathrooms. They have no reports of any sexual assaults -- it's their policy.

They've been covering up sexual assaults at least as early as 2018.

Loudoun County Public Schools did not record multiple known incidents of alleged sexual assault in schools dating back several years, despite a law that requires statistics about school safety incidents to be reported to the public and which includes provisions holding school superintendents personally liable for violations, a Daily Wire review of public records found.
After The Daily Wire raised the discrepancy with the Virginia Department of Education, VDOE spokesman Charles Pyle said that "VDOE is reviewing the discipline, crime and violence data submissions of Loudoun County Public Schools and is in communication with LCPS to determine whether the division's reporting is accurate and whether the division is in compliance with state and federal law."
The same law could have implications for a Loudoun superintendent or principal in the wake of a May 28 alleged sexual assault in a bathroom -- an incident first reported by The Daily Wire Monday. On June 22, Superintendent Scott Ziegler told the public, "To my knowledge, we don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms."
Virginia law requires that "Reports shall be made to the division superintendent and to the principal or his designee on all incidents involving... sexual assault."
The Daily Wire asked LCPS questions last week including, "Has Stone Bridge ever reported the May alleged sexual assault in any statistics or made anyone aware of it?" LCPS hid behind state law, with Director of Communications Joan Sahlgren replying that "Any information related to student information is confidential under state and federal laws regarding student privacy."

This is a lie. They're claiming that this data is protected by privacy laws.

Lie. The perp's name, and the victim's name, are protected by privacy laws. The fact that a r4pe took place is not.

In fact, the law requires this disclosure.

Instead, they covered it up, and pretended they were doing this to protect the students.

In fact, as is common in the education industry -- they're harming students in order to protect their filthy jobs.

However, state law actually requires statistics on assaults and other incidents in schools to be reported to the public, in the form of annually updated statistics available on a public database called Safe Schools Information Resource (SSIR) administered by the Virginia Department of Education. LCPS reported to the state that Stone Bridge had zero sexual assaults for the 2020-2021 school year, which includes May 28, 2021.

Didn't the Parkland school district likewise cover up assaults and gun crimes, which enabled school shooter Nikolas Cruz to murder children?

But they do this to protect the children, you understand.

It just so happens that it sweetens their numbers, gets them performance bonuses, and gets them reelected.

But that's entirely an unexpected side-benefit. The cover ups of crimes in schools are all For The Children.

And by the way, Luke Rosniak dug up a sexual assault that took place in the LCPS system in 2018. A boy was sexually violated by other boys, who inserted "objects" inside him.

Not reported! To protect the children, you understand.

You will not be shocked to discover that the entire media has joined in the cover-up.

And remember, the incident where an LGBT activist taunted the girl's father, claiming she was lying, is one of the key "incidents" the National School Board Association used to justify demanding DOJ and FBI targeting of parents.

The "targeting" of school boards the media all reported on. National news.

But the whole reason for the incident that largely started this? They refuse absolutely to report on.

Mainstream broadcast networks failed to cover a Tuesday night report that alleged a Virginia school board covered up a rape allegation against a boy who wore a skirt in the girls' bathroom, according to a media analysis.
The Loudoun County School Board kept the rape allegations quiet as it successfully pushed to adopt a policy that allows students to choose which bathroom to use based on their preferred gender, according to the Daily Wire. The alleged rapist was reportedly transferred to another school where he was later charged with sexual battery and abduction of another student. Neither ABC, CBS, nor NBC dedicated primetime coverage to the report, according to the Media Research Center....
"How can one call itself a news organization when it blacks out coverage of a story like this, which has such broad impact on the safety of our children and education?" Brent Bozell, president of the Media Research Center, tweeted.

The father of the alleged victim, Scott Smith, was arrested in June at a school board meeting on the proposed transgender bathroom policy after the meeting was deemed an "unlawful assembly" of concerned parents. Scott Ziegler, the superintendent of the school district, denied having knowledge of any arrests regarding incidents in the bathroom and said that "the predator transgender student or person simply does not exist," according to the Daily Wire report. Smith's arrest came less than a month after the alleged rape.

The Washington Post, possibly worried that they had been caught not covering a story of obvious interest to Washington Post readers (more people reading the Post in northestern Virginia than in DC proper), now admits that there were two sexual assaults that took place in Loudoun schools -- but refuses to report that the school board tried to cover it up, or that it was a case of a "boy in a skirt" attacking a girl in a restroom.

Which is not a point made simply to denigrate trans people, but to prove what is obvious, that a woman is an extremely difficult situation when she's in an isolated area with a biological male -- which is why we had sex-segragated spaces from the beginnings of human civilization.

Not "gender" segregated. Biological sex-segregated.

But this would add nuance to a public controversy the Sexual Left wants to pretend has no nuance to it at all, so they forget to report that part.

A teen accused of sexually assaulting a fellow student at a Loudoun County high school in May is also accused in a second sexual assault less than five months later at another county high school, according to the Loudoun County commonwealth’s attorney.
The dual allegations sparked anger from parents who showed up at a school board meeting Tuesday night and blasted school officials for their handling of the incidents and the student’s enrollment in a new school after the first allegation.
Some parents who spoke at the meeting grew emotional, saying they feared for the safety of their children in Loudoun County Public Schools.

Note that they refuse to say why this particular crime has a political, policy-oriented edge to it. Just a random boy r4ping a random girl, which was allegedly "mishandled."

If you want to know the details of that, why, you must be a Racist and a Domestic Terrorist.

But would the Washington Post even be allowed to report on the perp, even if they wanted to?

YouTube, a monopoly video posting site, and a child corporation of Google, a monopoly in the two key businesses of search and ad placement, has given Steven Crowder a "hard strike" -- the last warning before a complete ban -- for daring to mention the transgender part of the story.

They're taking the position that transgenders are never to be accused of sexual crimes, ever.

Even when the transgender nature of the perp is directly relevant to a major public issue involving schoolchildren's safety.

This monopoly has decided you're simply forbidden to mention the gender expression of any perp who isn't "cis" gender.

YouTube suspended Steven Crowder's channel for one week on Wednesday, claiming the conservative pundit and comedian violated the platform’s rules against hate speech.
YouTube's counsel sent an email to Crowder’s attorney, William Richmond, informing him of the strike against Crowder’s account and explaining that a September 30 video uploaded to Crowder’s channel "targets the transgender community in an offensive manner," according to a copy of the email. YouTube has blocked Crowder from posting videos to his main and auxiliary accounts for one week. The email said in part:

YouTube has repeatedly instructed Mr. Crowder regarding its hate speech policy and warned him against continuing violations of that policy through content he uploaded to YouTube. It warned that further uploading of content that targets, insults, and/or abuses the LGBTQ+ community would result in additional penalties.

OUAT, my daughter was assaulted on a school bus by an older male. I asked her if she wanted to press charges to which she said yes. I then warned her that nothing would happen. But together, we went thru the process.
Step 1 was to force the school cop to cough up an incident report, which didn't exist until I insisted. Then off we went to juvy justice to file charges, with the report and witness statements. Then we waited... forever. They just buried it too.
It's the way The System works, and it is close to universal.

Women in general need to get it straight pretty damn quick: despite all of the mealy-mouthed posturing, political pandering, rah-rah girl power media and everything else, women aren't the most valuable group. Sure, they're still more valuable than men, but they're *not* more valuable than trans. The ability to use women as a cudgel to break up society is tapped out. Female weaponization has reached its conclusion. There are now more powerful weapons, and women are thus devalued. Women need to realize this quickly. The feminists and the trans movement are *not* your allies. They don't care about you. You are useless to them and have little value. The school administrators were claiming that policy does not present any threat of harm to the female students, THAT'S CRAZY TALK! This girl's father went to the meeting to tell them, "No, in fact there has already been a rape" and they used the cops to silence him.

This is dangerous shit. Not only do they deny the obvious point that males don't belong in private, female only spaces. But they will lie, cover up, shut down, and sic cops on you if you break their imposed silence with real world examples of exactly what normal, intelligent people feared would happen, happening.

That isn't new. Even at the height of the Catholic abuse problem, their rates were still lower than public school teachers and authority figures (rates in both domains were low in absolute terms).

This is slightly different, of course, because it was two students rather than a student and a teacher, but it's still an exploitative and politically-motivated environment with extremely perverted goals and incentives.

Someone in my congregation had her 94th birthday on Wednesday. She is in rehab after breaking her leg. The place did allow people to sit outside at a table to celebrate her birthday-but her oldest friend whom she's known for about 87 years, the 93 year old who plays the organ at the church couldn't get there, and when she calls to get an appointment to see her friend she's told only one person can visit a day, so if she visits a family member can't. They both have had Covid shots, but because of regulations that seem to change from day to day- no visit.This is distinctly lacking in compassion. The organist made up a lovely gift bag of a magazine and word search puzzles, a card and cookies but I had to deliver it and they wouldn't even let me in to bring it to her. I had to leave it at the desk

This "let's keep people 'safe" but deny them some of the things that make life living (such as a visit from a lifelong friend) just stinks!!

The article I read the other day said that the rapist, who is 15 years old, is not currently in jail. He has been arrested and charged for the rape, but he was being "detained" in his mommy's townhouse, not a juvy facility.

The article also said that the prosecutor was trying to work out a plea deal. My guess (and it's just a guess) is that they were planning to offer him a plea deal to some kind of low-level assault or unauthorized touching charges, so that they could then give him community service or more home detention -- anything to keep him from doing time in a juvy facility. But now that the case has blown up in the public, it's going to be much harder politically for them to do this.

Yes, that's why I was glad to see that article last week by the two prominent "trans" surgeons, saying that puberty blockers should not be given to young kids.

Both the surgeons perform "transition" surgeries (one did the surgery on that reality t.v. person called Jazz), and they are both trannies themselves. So these are not "conservatives" or "right wing" or any of that other bullshit the left flings about when they want to discredit someone.

But, the team was very nearly all fit fine girls my age. I was the only guy. It seemed like a good plan on paper. Hard fail. To my surprise, they were interested in playing soccer and not attracted to an uncoordinated spaz hitting on them during practice. But I stuck with it for a season.

I am not sure about public schools, but at universities the police departments exist to cover things up. Students don't like the campus cops, but they are there to keep students *out* of jail. They're real police with real police powers. They may write tickets but they only very very rarely arrest someone or hand a case off for prosecution. The campus police structure is there to keep students out of the can and extract some revenue in return. Coverups are, essentially, their jobs.

Eventually, yes I do. And for the reason I mentioned above: the county will not be willing to risk having the civil trial discovery, in which they will be required to produce all sorts of documents related to what crimes occurred in the schools, and how and why they hid the info from the public and failed to take adequate measures to protect students.

Not only would the release of that info be a public relations nightmare for the county, it could very well open the floodgate to even more lawsuits, depending on what's in the documents. And if it's as bad as we're hearing, it's very bad.

So yes, they will likely settle. And probably for a lot.

2 big hospital systems in Tyler - one is Christus/Schumpert/Mother Frances, affiliated with the Catholics, and the other is UT Health Center, which took over the old independent Medical Center Hospital. UT also has a large facility a few miles north of town which is rumored to become the site of the next medical school that Texas authorizes.

Tyler has a very large and vibrant medical community - although the city has a population just over 100K, it's said to have medical facilities for over 300K people, because this serves as a medical center for all of the surrounding counties in East Texas.

364 I remember Ren and Stimpy, at least the first season (apparently the creator sold it out and it lost the nuttiness after that) as being really warped absurdist deadpan humor with stunningly gross artwork. Certainly not healthy and not for everyone but funny. Often the artist can be a disgusting individual but still create good art. It's one of those weird things that just are. It's actually more rare that a respectable individual creates good art for some reason.

379 I know this is a little late, but it's not just the school that should get in trouble - everyone one of those school officials and every teacher who knew about these incidents is a Mandate Reporter. They are required by law to report any suspicion of assault or they can be fined for every incident they failed to report.

While you might get arrested and convicted for the school official (if you let them know you did that one), I would bet a great deal that no jury would convict you for shooting the boy who raped your daughter, and was allowed to get away with it

383 I spent 16 years and 200 grand in the family and probate courts defending myself against a mentally ill (as diagnosed by court appointed psychologists and social workers) former spouse who claimed that I was raping my special needs daughter on weekends which I had visitation. As a special gift to my family, she also insisted that my mother was in on the crime.

The cops called her a liar and had videotape to prove it. The CAST physicians said no evidence. The court appointed custody evaluators said pretty much the same thing, including the polygraph I took after fighting with my then-feckless attorney to take it for two years. I beat her lying ass every time that we went to court, but I STILL occasionally run into visitation problems, despite her sorry record in the courts against me, as well as the fact that my daughter is now an adult and has testified that she wants visitation and contact with me.

The ugly fact of our court system is that politically correct liars that further the Left's narrative of oppression get special treatment, especially when they are women. Letting men disguised as trannies steal women's sports trophies is merely a cynical carve-out.
