Actually, I think that is consistent with other recent SC rulings on vaccine mandates. And I say Good. Because what one state can declare mandatory, others can declare verboten.

Which is kinda already going on. TX needs to fix their weak kneesauce mandate ban, as it has no teeth.

And the exodus from blue to red will continue. I take some heart from the fact that south TX (heavily hispanic) is rapidly turning R, as they see what unlimited illegal immigrants are doing to destroy their lifestyle. McAllen TX just elected a R mayor.

We don't have to win hearts and minds, just minds.

It details the planet Krypton, Jor-El sending the infant Kal-El off in a rocket to Earth, the baby's rescue (a la Moses) by the Kents, all the classic stuff -- and then introduces Perry White, Jimmy Olsen, and Lois Lane as Clark joins the Daily Planet staff (and Superman debuts). The Mario Puzo/Richard Donner version with Christopher Reeve did almost the exact same story, just in color and with more epic detail. This little script was a good example of how you set up a series. Low budget, but they play it straight.

93 On the other hand, I cannot watch the Adam West Batman. I didn't like its camp approach when I was 12, though I was a big Batman fan, and I don't like it now. The only saving grace of the series was the great casting of the villains -- Julie Newmar as Catwoman, Burgess Meredith as the Penguin, etc. Recently I've gotten to see some of the Green Hornet shows from the same time period, which I liked back then. They play it straight, and it's much more effective.

139 BLITZER:
The FBI has refused all comment. The Trump Organization and the Alfa Bank have denied any contact. The allegation originally as you well remember came up during the presidential campaign in an article in Slate magazine. It was widely dismissed at the time, at the time when you were working for the Clinton campaign. You issued a statement calling it a secret hotline between Trump and Russia and asking that it be investigated.

How surprised were you to hear last week that this investigation is still ongoing?

Jake SULLIVAN: (United States National Security Advisor to President Joe Biden. )
I wasn't surprised, because what we learned during the campaign was that very serious computer science experts, people who work closely with the United States government, had uncovered this secret hotline between the Alfa Bank, the Russian bank, and the Trump Organization.

FBI had determined by February 2017 that there was not a secret link between Alfa Bank and the Trump Organization.

This interview was on March 17th, 2017.

149 There's a crackpot pdf floating around that has a couple of really, really good points that get lost in the kookiness.

Why don't Americans have a schedule for parasite treatment? It's a good question. Yes, we're a fairly clean, fairly sanitary nation, but a five cent dose of ivermectin every month or so would guarantee a lot of success. Moreso if it also worked as an anti-viral.

It's anecdotal, but I've never felt better since I started taking it. It makes one wonder.

There is a new statement going around that is something to the effect:
Conservatives do not believe in the Constitution. Conservative believe that the Rights are natural and God given.

So the converse of this is that the Rights are given by the Constitution. This is a very scary proposition as it would mean that through legislative actions and amendments that an individual Right could be restricted or removed.

178 There is a YT video of a electric pickup truck traveling on some really crappy off roads in Colorado. It does well as the underside is flat, no differential. What I don't like is the odd headlights and the design of the truck itself. Not much about battery life, but I guess if there is a charging station on top of a mountain you would enjoy the quiet ride up the trail.

Posted by: Colin at October 02, 2021 06:06 AM (sUl9n)

Probably the Rivian.

It's badass. It has a 314 mile range, which would basically rival an off-road vehicle with a 20 gallon gas tank. Also with the regen, it recharges your batteries under braking as you go downhill, so you'd never really get stuck at the top of a hill.

But then again, I think it costs about $75k, so I'll pass on it.

Many drugs are reverses and mirrors of a working drug. There is also a drug called a pro drug. It has zero effect until processed in liver or kidneys and the metabolite is the effective drug. There are also methods to release drugs in the small intestine were the PH is different from the stomach so this makes the drug either more or less effective.

Yep. More than one checkout station was set to card only...I just didn't notice until after I'd rang up my purchases. I suppose I could have started over, but that might have looked suspicious.

At the end, I was given the option of rating my shopping experience. "0 stars" was not an option, but 1 star certainly was.

251 The constitution is not scripture. Nothing in it is inherently "True". It's an instruction manual. It's a cookbook. You can throw out the manual and wing it because you already know what you're doing, and your storage cabinet or chocolate babka may turn out just fine. But in that case, there is no external pressure to alter the process in baking a cake that can instead yield you uncontested domination over a large swath of humanity.

The US Constitution, other than being an organizational document, included the Bill of Rights which was an articulation of some of the more valuable "self-evident truths" that they knew would instantly be disregarded the moment the expected tyrant would emerge.

265 Biden literally, directly, unequivocally told Americans to blindly blast through their front door with a shotgun if they feel unsafe about what might be on the other side.

In my youth, six or so years ago at age 23 or thereabouts, a copper told me something similar. We were robbed at night while sleeping and he said to keep my shotgun near my bed and use it to clear the hallway, if broken into again. I decided I was done with Philly, hearing that advice.

Anna, sorry, I took off to do the weekly grocery list for a bit!

My understanding is that it has shown to be beneficial to healthy lung function. Because I understand The Coof to be a danger to the lungs, I thought it fairly prudent to incorporate it into our pill popping, at least until this madness passes. Besides, if our malevolent betters weren't hellbent on denying it to me, I just may question whether it's helpful. That they do, solidifies it enough for me.

Way back when Front Line doctors were putting out their initial videos on preventative methods, NAC was top of the list with them, along with Vitamins D3 and C, selenium, zinc, and melatonin. That's when I started taking it, early summer 2020.

I just checked their preventative protocols page and am surprised to see zero mention of NAC (especially since the video I watched back then by one of the FLCCC doc really pushed hard on adding NAC to your preventative protocol.)
