The Morning Report - 9/29/21

blamevanillifag.jpg

Good morning, kids. I suppose you could sum up today's lead item, as Michael Goodwin of the New York Post has, in four words: "BIDEN LIED, THEY DIED." That doesn't merely apply to his disastrous order to drop everything, bug out of Afghanistan and grease the skids of Sino-Islamic global domination for decades if not centuries to come. There's also our non-existent border, vaccine mandates as the gateway drug for totalitarian control of the citizenry and the forcible transformation of our economy into a command and control socialist failure. And all of them are interrelated but for now, let's just stick with Afghanistan. And Mr. Goodwin pulls no punches.

Biden lied, they died.

That's no longer just an accusation. It's now a fact, with Tuesday's Senate testimony shredding [so-called quote-unquote "president"] Biden's nonsensical fictions about Afghanistan and confirming that he alone made the fateful decisions that created the chaotic and deadly withdrawal.

We now know for certain what was suspected all along -- that the [so-called quote-unquote "president"] rejected the advice of his top military aides about how to reduce the troop numbers while keeping the Taliban in check. He also falsely claimed to the public that al Qaeda was no longer in Afghanistan and declared the withdrawal a ringing success. . .

. . .As with most political lies, the truth always makes them look absurd, and so it does here. The [so-called quote-unquote "president"] had insisted to ABC News on Aug. 19, as the disaster unfolded at the Kabul airport, that no military adviser told him to keep a limited number of troops to continue the strategic stalemate.

When George Stephanopoulos said to Biden, "But your top military advisers warned against withdrawing on this timeline. They wanted you to keep about 2,500 troops," the [so-called quote-unquote "president"] answered: "No, they didn't. It was split. Tha- that wasn't true. That wasn't true.'"

Stephanopoulos was skeptical, and according to the ABC transcript, tried again. "So no one told -- your military advisers did not tell you, "No, we should just keep 2,500 troops. It's been a stable situation for the last several years. We can do that. We can continue to do that?'"

Biden repeated his denial, but added a caveat: "No. No one said that to me that I can recall."

Oh, good, he's hiding behind his declining mental faculties. The [so-called quote-unquote "president"] is either a fool or a half-wit. How comforting.

Embrace the power of "and" Mr. Goodwin. Joe Biden has built a nearly half-century career on graft and being absolutely wrong about every major foreign and domestic policy issue. And that was long before the dementia set in. But with this nonsense, he's demented like a fox. As I stated, he handed over a strategically important piece of ground not just to dark age throwbacks but to the Chi-Coms, callously and cruelly abandoning American citizens and their legitimate Afghani comrades like Coney Island whitefish washed up on the shore. As clinically impaired by dementia that Biden may be, there are enough functioning brain cells left in his cranium to understand which side of the egg roll is buttered. He's in Xi's Hillary Clinton Mao suit vest pocket. No doubt about it.

The other aspect of this disaster is the military. They - that is the brass who willingly send our brave men and women into harm's way knowing they could be maimed and killed as a result of the manifestly criminally irresponsible fool posing as commander-in-chief - are equally culpable in this and deserve to slouch shoulder to shoulder with Biden on a communal gallows.

Gen. Mark Milley, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the committee his assessment was to maintain 2500-3500 troops and "move toward a negotiated solution." On the other hand, Milley told Sen. Cotton, "I don't discuss exactly what my conversations are with a sitting president in the Oval Office.

Cotton pointed out that Kabul fell on August 15, and wondered why it took 10 days to ask about the continued presence of U.S. forces. If all this is true, Cotton said, "then why haven't you resigned?"

Milley told the committee "resigning is a really serious thing -- it's a political act -- if I'm resigning in protest. My job is to provide advice -- my statutory responsibility is to provide legal advice or best military advice to the president, and that's my legal requirement. That's what the law is." The president "doesn't have to agree with the advice," and "it would be an incredible act of political defiance for a commissioned officer to just resign because my advice is not taken." On a personal note, Milley said, "my dad didn't get a choice to resign at Iwo Jima," and that raised another issue.

Alexander Milley did serve with the Fourth Marine Division at Iwo Jima, but if the American had tipped off Japanese Gen. Tadamichi Kuribayashi about an upcoming U.S. attack, Alexander Milley would have been expected to do more than resign. According to Bob Woodward and Robert Costa's new book Peril, Gen. Milley told his Chinese counterpart Gen. Li Zuocheng that he would tip him off about a U.S. attack, despite a complete lack of evidence that President Trump planned any such thing.

If all that is true, the best remedy for Milley would hardly be resignation. Back in the 1980s Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger described Wojciech Jaruzelski as a "Russian general in a Polish uniform." If people saw Gen. Milley as a Chinese general in an American uniform it would be hard to blame them. . .

. . . According to I Alone Can Fix It, from Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Phillip Rucker, Gen. Milley believes Donald Trump is the moral equivalent of Adolph Hitler, Trump's followers are "brownshirts," and Trump's complaints about voter fraud were calls for genocide. For Gen. Milley, the enemy is domestic, and the same is true of Lloyd Austin.

The secretary is a "determined advocate" of Critical Race Theory and the "1619 Project" as part of Pentagon training programs. He wants to purge the ranks of "extremists," code for supporters of Donald Trump and the January 6 protest. None of this will make the United States more prepared for an adversary such as China. Indeed, such divisive indoctrination makes America weaker and more vulnerable.

Vanilli Milley, along with Austin and far too many others at the DoD and who knows how many others in the officer corps all the way down to individuals such as Bowe Bergdahl and Spenser Rapone have turned the military into a sick joke. Worse, it's become the proverbial "skin suit" worn by our nemeses posing as fellow citizens who demand respect.

Look what is happening in Australia. Not North Korea. Not China. Not Cuba. Australia. People being beaten up, maced, and sent to internment camps for merely protesting that government's demand that the citizenry comply with their demand to be vaccinated. Or else.

Dr. Kerry Chant, the Chief Health Officer of New South Wales, sent social media into a frenzy on Thursday, after she referred to a post-lockdown "new world order" during a [Chinese] Covid-19 press conference.

After State Premier Gladys Berejiklian had unveiled her administration's plan for Greater Sydney's path to freedom out of lockdown, Dr. Chant revealed the new vaccine requirements for workers and customers when the city reopens.

Both parties at reopened businesses would have to be fully vaccinated against [Chinese] Covid-19, Dr. Chant announced, and workplaces would "have some system of checking that." But it was her next comment that really stirred up a storm.

"We will be looking at what contact tracing looks like in the new world order.

New world order. Not Hitler, but his kissing cousin, the Chinese Great East Asian COVID Prosperity Sphere.

Back up from down under, you can scoff all you want at Vanilli Milley's embrace of crackpot disgrace theory, and identifying climate change as the number two national security threat. But their number one security threat remains THE CITIZENS OF THE USA. That fat, fruit-salad-festooned fraud is itching to round us up and mow us down just like Billy Ayers predicted all those years ago.

I'll bet average Aussies regret handing over their guns "for their own safety and security." I would advise us Americans not making that mistake.

This is really at the crux of the so-called worker shortage. There are some jobs that require a physical presence and they're not being filled. It may be that low paying, unskilled workers who would be picking goods to pack are making more on welfare, but in reality there are a lot of "former" workers who got a taste of working from home in PJ's and will never return to the suit and tie world.

Perhaps most hopefully, the pandemic also will help reverse the concentration of power in a few places, and corporations. A more dispersed economy is not only better for people's lives, but suggests a new hope for our battered democracy.

++++
Resigning isn't a self-abasement and humiliation in response to gross incompetence and defeat, but is rather an act of "political defiance." Somehow, however, flagrantly ignoring the president's orders and conspiring with enemy states - something the did to the prior president - is *not* an act of "political defiance." That's just BAU.

But it's that last bit that sticks in my craw. Rationalizations to avoid punishment are expected. But to compare his corrupt, hard-left, traitorous, incompetent, back-biting, desk-jockeying Washington political skulduggery to the men crawling through mud and blood, killing and dying in droves for the conquest of a G-d-forsaken if strategically important island is to spit in the face of infinitely greater men than himself. They like them porous but not open. If any idiot can just wander over the thing, there's no money for the coyotes, and those coyotes are expensive and drive much cartel revenue through long-term remittances to pay off the debt and also gives them hostages throughout Latin America (your family is held hostage until you pay the freight, which keeps you working El Norte and sending the money back home month after month). A wide-open border interferes with that.

A porous border, though, where people going it solo get caught but those on the inside - those with the coyotes, who's bosses work with the border patrol and the US government - get to play catch-and-release? Now *that* has value.

81 Yet astonishingly, it is those oh, so tolerant Progressives who favor the draconian government vaccine and mask mandates,

while the supposedly anti civil rights conservatives come down unequivocally on the side of individual freedom and "my body, my choice."

That's a contradiction that no Progressive even tries to reconcile.

Progressives have never been about freedom and liberty. Every law and rule include a jot and tittle to allow harsh rule over people and property.

They'll start the narrative this year, but it will be an early act of the next Congress, not this one, if I had to guess. There are only two reasonable ways forward for our medical system. One is single-payer, and the other is a multi-pronged and massive deregulation and a whole lot of antitrust action to restore competition.

One of those is easy and consistent with the Prog worldview. The other is difficult and inconsistent with the Prog worldview. Therefore, we will get single-payer.

Posted by: squid_hunt at September 29, 2021 07:12 AM (B0mGw)

Hospitals created their own self-fulfilling prophesy. Remember back in 2020 during the height of this, hospitals were laying off staff because they weren't doing anything elective? My bet is a lot of them decided staying home with the kids or grandkids was better than work. Then if you do go back to work, you have the admin panicking over masks and vaccinations. Throw in a vax mandate. Double the work of the remaining staff. Now you're on a staffing death spiral.

A contributing factor has to be all the feminist encouragement of anger -- just peruse their books and social media ("Good and Mad by Rebecca Traister, etc.).

This is part of an overall popular culture/activist culture that encourages and praises uncontrolled emotions:

I wonder the same about my region. We get little snow here (a dusting a couple of times a year), but Winter is our rainy season. This year, Winter was normal but Spring was cold, wet and long. It won't be long before the pull a card from Russia's playbook. Not against the masters of the state, of course, but against everyone else.

Remember the Kursk disaster? As that was ongoing, they held a press conference for the family members of those trapped on board. A woman stood up and started screaming and the speaker (an Admiral, I think, but my memory is hazy) about his and the Navy's gross irresponsibility and the deplorable conditions of the Russian Navy. As she was laying into him, a burly nurse walked over from the wall, got behind her, gave her a shot of something (likely a sedative), caught her on the way down, and dragged her off into the wings.

We're very nearly there.

When actively training in Krav Maga, I was calling on the strike pads with a Level V (I guess that would be black belt in other disciplines) woman. Your model would describe the situation.

She hit harder than the knuckle dragging cops (students) who came in with their swinging dicks thinking that they would show the rest of us how it is done.

There is a lot to be said for technique and training. The LEOs thought that they could brute force a punch, not using their entire body to throw a punch, furthermore they tended to hang their punches out there which creates more problems if fighting a trained opponent.

Their punches were more Thud with a push while hers was more of a Crack with a shock wave. In the end though, either one could have beaten her up, but there would be damage.

It's not theirs to decide. Period. We don't need their permission. Of course, that doesn't smooth out any kinks in the ability to make it happen, but they don't get any say in whether half of this country wants to start anew and be rid of them. Wail, gnash teeth, riot, hold your breath until you turn blue. We're leaving. With our guns. With our pride. With our full intent to reestablish our original founding. They're human shackles and we have to thrown them off and let their half sink into a morass of servitude, serfitude and destitution. We'll be enjoying freedom.

There's a lot of truth in what he wrote, but I'm far less sure the entire thing is true. A lot of what he said about the mechanism of the disease is accurate and appears reasonably well sourced.

His estimations of the motivations of our political class are guesses. It may be that they intend to present some "cure" and pretend to be the saviors of mankind, for fame and glory.

That this is an engineered disease, created through abused "gain-of-function" research, is pretty much beyond doubt. It is still possible that the release was an accident, born of sloppiness and hubris, rather than intent. Regardless, it has been opportunistically abused to advance the cause of totalitarianism.

99.999% of American guns will sit in their closet as the police run the same enforcement campaigns in the streets, beating and imprisoning innocents who dare ask for freedom.

There's more than enough citizens with guns in Australia.

Real war-- the last war we won-- means ambushing and murdering completely innocent men, women and children.

Alternate theory:

Dominion doesn't do much. The Democratic electorate rejected the crazies in favor of the myth of "moderate Joe Biden". That didn't stop the crazies from still being in control of the party apparatus, ensuring a preferred VP candidate and being able to fill the new administration (after thousands of people ballot box stuffed for literally months to get Biden the bare minimum win he got) with crazies.

The Democratic Party electorate didn't sign up for craziness. They signed up for moderate normalcy. This is why Biden's numbers are cratering.

"former United States" to refer to the nation as it is Right Now. "The Party" referring to what some might euphemistically call "the government". "The Beast" referring to the ideology of The Party in a Devos/NWO sense. "The Party Military" to refer to what once was the US Military.

We aren't really a nation since a nation has a discernable demographic, borders, culture, body of laws etc. We have none of that. "The States" is a candidate (dropping "United") and "this land", but the "this" is rather subjective.

I increasingly believe that Dominion does very little at the time of the event. Not that there isn't cheating, and not that it doesn't happen in their system, but that they actually do it or orchestrate it.

What Dominion does is deliver porous, insecure systems to elections agencies. Those systems are porous and insecure by design. This allows those agencies to cheat and then purge the records to cover their tracks. The AZ audit has revealed a lot.

If Dominion did this directly by modifying the databases or similar, why double-count ballots, stuff the box or purge the router and login records? It doesn't make sense. But exploiting a hugely (and likely deliberately) exploitable system with known, documented methods that are likely supported by the manufacturer, though ...

299 Saints of the Day: The Archangels St. Gabriel, St. Michael, and St. Raphael share a feast day on September 29th. These are the only three angels mentioned by name in Sacred Scripture.

St. Gabriel means "Power of God." He is the messenger or herald angel most famous for appearing to the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Annunciation (Luke 1:11-3.

St. Michael means "Who is like God?" He is the warrior angel, the famous foe of Satan, who is the champion of God's people and guardian and protector of the Church (Rev. 12:7-9).

St. Raphael means "God has healed." He is a companion and healing angel, most famous for curing a man's blindness and for traveling with Tobiah in the book of Tobit (Tob. 12).

We could really use them now.

Like sports franchises, there is a parallel in politics. You have the farm program, colleges as training grounds, minor leagues, practice squads before being allowed into the majors a/o become a Legend.

With the disruption of the farm system in 2016, there became a backlog of people who were working their way up the ranks to get their turn at the table dividing up the country's wealth, property and power into their own spoils system. In 2020, The Party had to make up for four years of lost ground and hence the multi-trillion dollar spending above the usual multi-trillion dollar spending.

People were missing out on the graft and corruption after working through the system for so many years. It was their turn and it was being held up by Trumpers.

1. When someone moves but they still get mail at the old address after the forwarding period expires, it makes it all the way to the local PO before being discarded. I get pictures of mail to the previous owner every day, but it never shows up in my mailbox.
2. The ACLU Is a joke. The previous owner was a member and I see the envelopes for all the stuff that doesn't actually get delivered. Today's reads "Escalating state attacks on civil liberties!"

Even for the government, that makes so sense. That's insane from a cost/benefit standpoint and since it's a government number, it's optimistic.

What that tells me is what I thought the first moment I heard about the scheme but before any dollar values were applied to it: this is not about money. This is about information. They are couching it as a revenue thing, but this is about wildly expanding their panopticon and nothing more.

Right. I paid for it for one cycle. I am just surprised that they send it all the way to the destination PO before it gets shunted off to a dead letter bin. They take the pictures of the mail to optimize routing, and it happens on ingest in most places. So given that you can be certain that they're running OCR on the pieces to read names and numbers off the envelope, their system will know with a high degree of accuracy - especially for printed material - that the recipient is no longer present and the letter is bound for a dead letter bin. It strikes me as odd that they don't dump it at the start, before the costs to route it through the system (and if the confidence on the OCR is low, they route it to the endpoint and let a human make the call).

I have serious problems with the final section. There is nothing approaching meaningful evidence and there is a lot of wild speculation and assumptions being made, especially around the viability of the ideas being promoted and a deliberate ignoring of the costs such a scheme would engender. Anything is possible and I trust no one in power, but it seems like it is hanging out *way* too far over the edge.

The rest of it, though, is certainly worth digesting and extremely interesting and well-documented.

Regarding the lack of viability of some of the tech ideas: I think this could be either the psychos making sh*t up to intimidate people, or they really think they can do what they propose, or (of course) a little of both. Regarding cost: why should they care, they're SMAHHHRRT, they can raise taxes and print more money and everything will work fine!

Posted by: blaster at September 29, 2021 07:55 AM (mbFEM)

I don't think they're unicorns, rather cannon fodder for Dem liberals.

Because of redistricting, liberals in ultra-blue districts are guaranteed indefinite tenure, leading to leadership positions within the party. They can't get anything done on their own however; they need to trick the rubes into electing 'moderates' in battleground districts to give them the numbers to put forth their legislative agenda. The 'moderates' that get elected are the ones that need to then get paid off, to induce them to bite the bullet and vote for legislation that will ultimately get them kicked out of office. This, but not before Obamacare, and now the Green New Deal get passed.

Fight like heck to keep Dem moderates out of national office, and the liberals will have no means to get anything done.

The middle class seems to be the target of the elites. They want to tax us by the mile, tax our "carbon footprint", stop our travel, tax our homes.

Many of us did/do make some money in the markets. But that is not really the heart of "capitalism", especially now as we see BigCorp take so much control of the nation, becoming the rope that hangs lady liberty.

Did they ask their shareholders if they want that? .. or did the leveraged oligarch owner class get so mega-rich over the years, that they are majority shareholders and middle America just gets a few crumbs? A local company has a stake in the community, but BigCorp does not ... why they went so Woke though? Oligarch globalists in charge of that, is my guess.

408 Comparing January-June averages (most recent data available for 2021) in thousands of barrels per day oil production:
2016: 8955
2020: 11745
2021: 10973

So no, Kurt. Trump increased average crude oil production during his administration by 2790 thousand barrels per day, or about 31.2%. This uses 2020 as the end year, and production did fall from 2019 into 2020 due to economic slowdown and COVID response. Even with that decline (which was about 2%), Biden's first year is *still* on track to decline further. The decline since 2020 will be about 6.6% if the trend holds. That's a collapse, and erases gains since 2017.

Also, Cocksucker, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) has public data and it's trivial to retrieve it and do some averaging. So in other words, fuck off with this.

Interesting. I'm sitting right here looking at live and historical commodities data, in particular a chart reaching back to 1920s w/r/t to domestic crude oil production.

In Trump's last year, crude oil production was at its historically highest point of over 400,000,000 barrels. I'm not sure how closing off oil producing land, shutting down ANWAR, reducing leases in the Gulf and criminalizing certain efficiencies in crude oil production is going to double particularly when production is clearly falling out of bed and is down to around 330,000,000 barrel levels.

419 100% higher US oil production in 1 year?

You'd have to be a complete idiot who knows nothing about oil production to make that claim.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Kurt.

Agreed. Plus the Steve Buscemi character was just like someone I knew in real life.

424 So what happens when blood pressure medication can no longer be prescribed because the pharmacists and doctors insist it doesn't play well with the vaxxine?

Yeah, I'm not seeing that level of increase in ordering of pipe, hiring workers, refinery expansion, commodity future pricing, delivery contracts, construction loans.

One would think that a country that was to eclipse the world in oil production would at least show a simple sign of infrastructure growth.

That was health are two years ago. Now for an untested medicine that literally injects a toxin into you, we don't bother with discovering if there are contraindications. Just get the shot and we will see if you die or are permanently maimed.

428 On Tuesday's broadcast of MSNBC's "The Last Word," Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said that her takeaway on the evacuation of Afghanistan from the Senate's hearing earlier in the day was that the evacuation "was actually an amazing undertaking" where "our military was able to get about 124,000 people out. They left no American-owned equipment behind." And "We should be proud of President Biden and proud of our military."

Now I don't know about where you live, but here in S.C. I can lookout the DHEC hospital bed occupancy rate. And it never agrees with the anticdotal stories that our medical folk are sharing in conversation.

So yeh....somebody is lying to us.

I took a tour of one of the larger hospitals in my area when I went to visit a friend. Lots of empty beds, even a whole wing shut down despite the local news breathlessly reporting on the critical bed shortage in hospitals.

433 Great Morning Rant today on why the left will never stop, with urgency, moral certainty, virtue signaling, etc. rationalizing their grift. No offense to Mr. Sowell, but Willie Sutton had it right that they leech on the government 'cuz that's where the money is. My answer to Captain Hate is more arrows in the quiver to overcome the RINOs. Change the electoral balance by allying with the Black Church in shifting funding from big government to measures that will build the individual capacity now missing in the underclass due to destruction of the family.
