The Morning Report - 9/14/21

totlrcllnwsm.jpg

Good morning, kids. Tuesday and I suppose the big story is today's California recall election in which a majority of citizens will once again have their votes stolen and Gavin Newsom, the sleazy, pompous, brilliantine criminal dictator of what is arguably now a third world Latin American banana republic will more than likely retain his stranglehold on what once was the Golden State. All while declaring that the people have spoken and reaffirmed his vision of socialist utopia. Why so cynical? To ask that question means you have been in a coma for almost a year now, because it looks like deja-vu all over again:

KTLA reported that staffers at the El Camino Real Charter High School polling station told some San Fernando Valley voters they already voted.

The article buried an important detail: It happened to self-identified Republicans.

Estelle Bender, 88, told KTLA she went to the high school at 10:30. She gave a woman her ballot, who scanned it. The woman then told her, "You voted." Bender replied, "No, I haven't." Bender said the woman older it "has been happening all morning." "The man next to me was arguing the same thing," stated Bender. So Bender filled out a provisional ballot, but the situation made her "really angry. . . "

. . . The lady announced the others with her identified as Republicans, too. Bender said another person she spoke to at another polling place had the same issue who just happened to be a Republican. The reporter asked Bender if the fact that they are all Republicans made her suspicious. She was more gracious than me, giving him a little "um, duh" laugh, but responded yes.

Nothing to see here, folks. Move along. Next thing you know, we'll be hearing that four cities across six states last November rigged the 2020 election via computers or good old fashioned stuffing the ballot boxes.

Seriously, the ballot initiative to recall Newsom succeeded by a pretty substantial margin, and not without serious attempts to derail it, legally and otherwise. And over the ensuing weeks since the ballot it was approved, polling showed Malig-Nancy Pelosi's nephew in serious trouble. Serious enough to warrant the alleged president and vice president to stump for him even as the Afghanistan disaster was unfolding real time.

Then again, Afghanistan has historically never voted Democrat. That is, until four weeks ago. And now we'll have an influx of new Democrats from Kabul and Kandahar just in time for '22 and '24, even as those and other cities get gerrymandered to the Baathists. So obviously, preserving Newsom is priority one.

I'm not going to get into the quagmire of arguing whether or not one should vote, whether because of this garbage or the fact that even if Newsom is ousted and Elder beats the cheat, he still faces a California legislature and four major metropolitan areas that are marginally less hostile to him than Kabul. I will leave it for my Californian brothers and sisters to decide if it's a waste of time. The whole thing is disgusting, most especially the insane, Orwellian sliming of Larry Elder. Of course Elder has to be destroyed because he escaped the Democrat/Leftist plantation. His mere existence puts paid the heinous, evil propaganda of institutional racism and white supremacy that have been the stock in trade of the Left since 1965. That more blacks, minorities and really all Americans cannot see this is tragic in the extreme, and one of the factors that put us where we are right now, facing oblivion. But that said, I think Trump opened up a lot of eyes in that regard. Were it not for the Oriental Lung Rot as the pretext to strangle the economy and destroy whatever gossamer thin election safeguards there were, the 2020 election would have been a watershed moment for black, Latino and minority voters abandoning the Left, at least in that cycle. We'll see what plays out today, or really in the weeks to follow now that election theft via mail-in ballots has all but been etched in stone.

All of that segues rather nicely into the continued tightening of the screws by the junta over forcible vaccinations. While Joey "Soft-Serve" hectors, derogates and demonizes at least half the population as carriers of disease and a threat to the public for refusing to be injected with an experimental concoction that is by now useless against a virus that has all but mutated itself out of existence and perhaps having dangerous and even lethal side effects, some on his side know full well that a sizable majority of those that are vaccine-averse are blacks. This aversion is not only because of the aforementioned but because of a rather dark history of being used as guinea pigs.

Descendants of the men involved in the tragic Tuskegee Syphilis Study shared their stories during a major public awareness event at Howard University. The event comes amid the national effort to overcome [Chinese] COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and the need to confront the sources of lingering distrust of medicine by Black Americans.

The Tuskegee Study, whose original title was "The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male," continues to have an important impact on perceptions and trust in medicine to this day, but many people do not know the full story. To shed light on the study, the event showcased "Legacy," a new short-form documentary that not only tells the story of the study but also includes messages from descended families that encourage people to get the [Chinese] COVID-19 vaccine.

According to recent data from the Kaiser Family Foundation, nearly a quarter (22 percent) of Black Americans are taking a "wait and see" approach to the [Chinese] COVID-19 vaccines. The event at Howard University featured panel discussions that included Omar Neal, a former mayor of Tuskegee, and Leo Ware, whose grandfathers were in the study.

Well, we'll see how effective this propaganda campaign is but the fear and distrust, which given the facts of this dark chapter are quite justified, runs very, very deep, and the Left knows it. Yet black or white, given the fact that we are now having calls from doctors and other medical institutions to deny medical care to the unvaccinated should raise serious alarm bells about people whose prime directive is supposed to be "first, do no harm." Given the Nazification, aka "woke," of virtually every aspect of our society, medicine and healthcare was not going to be immune forever, so to speak. In fact, as Mark Levin points out in Ameritopia, healthcare is arguably the ultimate tool of the totalitarian left in controlling the citizenry.

On a similar note, as even Bill Maher notes to his disgust with the singing of the so-called "Black National Anthem" at NFL games (boy they really do want to commit suicide, don't they?), we are racing pell-mell to once again become a segregated society. Segregated by race and now segregated by vaccine status. Well, if we're going to be separate but equal, then this government cannot ban me from flying if that is their intention (which it seems to be no matter what denials come out of their mouths). As per the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment, the airlines must provide flights or other seating arrangements for the unvaccinated. Ditto restaurants, health clubs, movie theaters, businesses and everywhere else in society.

At the very least, since abortion is now front and center, there is a perfect opportunity to even argue the spurious, but accepted-as-emmes-truth-gospel by the Left, "constitutional right to privacy" as absolutely protecting the unvaccinated. That is an even more powerful trap with which petards can be hoisted.

It would be nice if we had an actual political party and leadership that would get in Biden's face - unmasked of course - and force the rotting cabbage and/or his minions to argue the point.

Yeah, I know, I know.

Back from the local Walmart. Its website says open at 6 am. Ha. Nobody bothered to update the site to say that "since the hurricane" the opening time is 7 am.

Tell me again why I live here.

I'm going to photograph all the repairs needed in this apartment, some of which pre-date Ida, and send it to the office; and then I'm going to photograph all the trash heaps in the parking areas and send them to the Department of Sanitation and the state department of public health. I doubt anything will happen, of course.

13 Just read the funniest story, apparently everyone is pissed at Gavin Newsome for turning their states in the hellscape it is but he will easily survive the recall.

The article ends with a refrain I've heard from many quarters, Californians deserve better.

Why do Californians deserve better, they apparently voted for what they want and what are apparently their interests.

As TJM said, Newsome will probably go medieval on the state now that he's apparently "won."

That's not who they are.

On the prior thread, Warai posted this, and I think it's spot on:
And yet Liberalism as a political force is almost completely dead, at least at the federal level. The only ideologies remaining in DC are revolutionary totalitarianism in one party, and a gutless barbarism in the other.

Gutless barbarians. One of the better descriptions I've read of the GOP - if only partial. I'd say about half of them, maybe three quarters, are gutless barbarians. The rest are the same revolutionary totalitarians though claiming a different party.

22 I tuned in to the local news this morning to catch the extended forecast. That is when I learned about how it turns out that dogs are scientific instruments of virtually unthinkable precision and subtlety. In Atlanta, they're starting the use of "COVID-sniffing dogs" to find the Dread Infected. I had no idea that dogs were so precise and so accurate and had such high resolution. Given their nature, this is surprising. It is good, though, because as we all know, dogs never want to please their masters and so never read their master's will and hit on people the master wants to detain and search even if they have no contraband...

23 Duke University had a COVID outbreak of 365 people, only 8 of which are unvaccinated. So 98% of those infected were vaccinated.

Naturally, Duke's response was to mandate that all faculty and staff be vaccinated by Oct. 1 or lose their jobs (students were already mandated to get the vaccine earlier this year).

Never mind the scientific doubt, the data or any other reasonable or objective standard. Forcing young people to get the vaccines is the most immoral thing I have ever seen with my own eyes. Young people usually don't get COVID. When they do, it is exceedingly rare that it is severe. On that basis alone, vaccine mandates for the young are incredibly immoral. Never mind the data that shows increases in heart problems (men) and menstrual cycle problems (women).

The only word I can find for it is "evil."

Thus implying that 78% of black Americans have gotten the vaccine. Yet reports I've seen claim that nationwide we are at about 70-75% vaccinated. So which is it? Are blacks under-vaccinated, or vaccinated at a rate higher than the general population?

I don't see the issue as a racial divide so much as a social phenomenon similar to compressing a spring or charging a battery. Have you ever loaded a pistol magazine? At first it's easy, but the closer you get to completely full, the more resistance there is and the more effort it takes to load. Populations can behave the same way. In this case, the hard line resistance looks to be in the 20-25% range.

This has always been a given. The Party, in broad daylight stole an election. I'm sure this included senators and house reps too. That's an amusing thought when one considers, "but how would we be able to tell?" If the dog hits, you have to take a "rapid COVID test" on the spot. How accurate is the rapid screening? I don't know, but my guess is "not very."

There'd be no way to confirm whether the dog is more accurate than PCR or other testing regimes unless there's an actually effective (even if expensive and slow) method against which to compare it to determine a statistically-sound accuracy level.

The question is actually unanswerable.

It's the key problem with dogs, even when they can be trained to effectively detect things like drugs and bombs. They *also* will react to their handlers. It's the nature of dogs. Dogs want to please their masters. So even a well-trained drug-sniffing dog will hit on drugs or read the handler and hit on people the handler wants them to hit on. Handlers have to be tremendously careful to not give signals to the dog and thus corrupt their behavior.

I don't trust drug/bomb/COVID/etc.-sniffing dogs. Even when they can actually do the job, they are still dogs and they still live to please their masters.

Please, not this overblown story again. A doctor did a write-up a few years ago explaining what was done, why, and how at worst a couple of things were questionable by today's (former) medical standards.

High level view: Treatment of syphilis was painful, dangerous, and of questionable use in the 30's. By the time antibiotics were available, all of the study patients were at the point where the disease was dormant, non-contagious, and considered benign (i.e. antibiotics would do nothing). I know this will be shocking, but blacks were used because the presence of syphilis in the black community was multiples of that in white communities. This wasn't some evil white plan.

Poorly and inadequately trained dogs for the most part. The quality of American police dogs -- both for scent and patrol work (bite and hold) -- is something of a scandal. The Europeans' are far better. The false positives arise from dogs who have not been trained to high enough standards and are opting out for the reward. In some cases the cop (maybe corrupt) is calling an ambivalent or false read signal from the dog as a confirmed scent. The dog is then rewarded for a non-drug detection.

If you ever watch the Top Dog competition on A&E, you can see the difference. The good ones will give a strong signal like sitting and looking at the object, or nudging. The mediocre give some slight movement that could be interpreted however you want it.

There were several articles about "how dare you say MDs can't differentiate between covid and RSV!!!" Also, several claimed tests could differentiate, which I don't understand how, due to them being PCR. But I'm not a physician.

236 Let me give you a real world example of how covid is counted.

A surrogate for a friend got covid 6 weeks ago. She was fine, then 3 weeks later got nauseous and started contractions. No big deal, everything was under control. 2 weeks after that she got pneumonia and had to have a c section. After the c section she got a blood clot in the lung and possibly one in the heart.

Baby was born early...will be ok.

She's now in some sort of medially induced coma and on a medial device like a ventilator to let her lungs heal so she can absorb O2 better.

This is being called covid by everyone that knows her.

We face a machine gun barrage of lies from within the fortified position of the federal government, on any narrative they want for any given news cycle.

imo Powell and Lindell have good evidence, so they get fired at first as they charge the hill. (and undermined in every other way, including justice system corruption). Maricopa will provide some good evidence, but the subpoenas were ignored, and no one will (take the machine gun fire) and enforce them. Routers have evidence (of external intrusion of machines) but they are hidden and/or overwritten.

WAR, they are fighting and have all the high ground. We are divided on where to attack.

Nope, unless it's freedom from the oppression of not being able to follow sharia in the country they come to colonize and desire to conquer.

Freedom means different things to different groups. For Islam it's the freedom to ram your rules through other people's legal systems.

Why so many groups are defining muslims as poor misunderstood babies is beyond comprehension and demonstrates stunning ignorance. Trump sounds like he's running again, and maybe there will be enough shoring up of election integrity in the three or four states he needs to (be credited with the) win, but I don't know what plan there even could be to fix the federal workforce aside from helicopter rides.

It comes down to the FDA authorized a new brand name and gave it EUA.

The trick, and with the Biden Administration there is always a trick, is that they "full approved" the new name, but since there isn't any available under that name, the EUA still holds for Pfizer and the others.
If the Pfizer vaccine had been actually "fully authorized" the EUA status would end for all the vaccines.

"If you are unbelted in a car that is involved in a wreck, you will not be held into your seat. This is bad for you and raises your risk of injuries, which you have said you're comfortable with. If this happens with other people in the vehicle, however, you can be ejected from your seat and launched into the other occupants. This can increase their injuries and reduce their safety even though they took reasonable measures like wearing their seat belts. You should buckle up at all times for your own safety, but it is even more important when you share a vehicle with others, since your motion can worsen their injuries."

323 Children's Health Defense Sues FDA Over Approval of Pfizer Comirnaty Vaccine

The lawsuit, filed Aug. 31, alleges the U.S. Food and Drug Administration violated federal law when the agency simultaneously licensed Pfizer's Comirnaty COVID vaccine and extended Emergency Use Authorization for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

Children's Health Defense (CHD) on Aug. 31 filed suit in U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Tennessee against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and its acting director, Dr. Janet Woodcock, for their allegedly deceptive, rushed licensure of Pfizer's Comirnaty vaccine.

CHD argues that the licensure was a classic "bait and switch," allowing Pfizer, the Biden administration, the U.S. military and employers to exhort people to take "licensed" vaccines when in fact the vaccines available and being administered continued to be the Pfizer-BioNTech Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) vaccines.

The French did some work in this space, too, but it is mostly an Anglo-American party.

Wanna save the world? Clean up the shit, clean up the drinking water and throw away the trash. Nothing on earth provides so much benefit for so little cost.

I was at that point a long time ago, over a decade, as I saw how the best physicians our area had to offer caused my mother illness to progress instead of slowing it. A cocktail of pharmaceuticals, lousy nutritional advice...

I went to the same internist as my mom, and anytime I went in with any complaint at all (sleep, achy joints, whatever) this doctor hauled out the Rx script pad. I eventually fired her. I got myself off of all the meds. I took back control of my health.

377 I want to order a custom made musical instrument. This instrument is made in several countries but the one I want is made in Brazil. It will cost me at least $3500. Generally, when you order an instrument, you pay say $1000 down and the balance when the instrument is ready to ship. This would be ok if Biden wasn't reintroducing runaway inflation. I'm afraid that in a year (the waiting time) Inflation will have driven the cost of my instrument up another $1000. So the smart move might well be to pay the entire cost up front upon ordering.
Any thoughts or counter to my logic?

379 I think JJ touched on something essential to why the Democrats are so hot to bring in as many foreigners as possible, legal or otherwise.

Those are their reinforcements. Without them, the blue states would be hemorrhaging population and losing congressional seats left and right.

By keeping their population numbers artificially swollen, they can attempt to flip other states via colonization without losing ground.

380 So how does someone who doesn't wear their seatbelt by not getting "vaxxed" threaten the seatbelt wearers?
_____________

The non-seatbelt wearers are flaunting their self-determination in the faces of the vaxxed, and giving them constant, uncomfortable reminders that they, too, were once free men, with the God-given right to choose for themselves how to live their lives.

Obviously we can't allow that!

If seatbelts randomly came with hidden spikes built into them aimed at your brain, your heart, and apparently your balls.

But don't worry as long as the driver doesn't crash the car it doesn't matter. Of course it also doesn't matter if you don't wear a seatbelt at all in that case.

390 An easy example of how little sense you make, "...the sleazy, pompous, brilliantine criminal dictator of what is arguably now a third world Latin American banana republic will more than likely retain his stranglehold on what once was the Golden State."

If California were an independent country it would be the fifth-largest economy in the world, by definition a 1st world country. OTOH, West Virginia would be the 110th economy between Guatemala and Syria(!).

391 One of the arguments against Obamacare was that individuals are in control of their own health choices. They said that everyone still gets to decide what goes in and what gets done to their body and that everyone NEEDS Healthcare. We need Healthcare so bad that we will be fined for not having it. Now, in more liberal hypocrisy, they are going to force you to get vaccinated and or deny you Healthcare.

393 What's funny is the whole deal with Tuskegee was that the men were denied a new treatment for syphilis. They were simply watched and not given treatment which existed.

By refusing to be vaccinated, people are Tuskegeeing themselves. They are refusing the new medical prevention method and putting their faith in their immune systems. Notice how the smartest and richest are all vaccinated? It's the poorest, least educated of both parties largely avoiding the vaccines.

We don't need a nefarious government to deny treatment to our populations. We have Facebook filled with misinformation doing that for us.

You make the assumption that a) the vaccine is even necessary and that b) no dangerous side effects exist. Also, c) that this a "vaccine" in the first place when it is in fact an experimental gene-altering compound that acts upon the immune system in toto.

We had an experimental shot like this that was developed in haste to combat SARS or MERS or one of the other viruses about 10-12 years ago.

When 40 - FORTY - people died, it was pulled by the FDA. There are confirmed reports of at least 15,000 deaths worldwide as well as many adverse and damaging side effects and the Junta and its boosters are still demanding full compliance.

Thanks for your comment.

WAS the 6th largest economy. Importing third world replacement serfs while the tax base flees is not a recipe for long term growth. And comparing what WAS the Golden State to W VA is apples and oranges. California is on the road to ruin. When a handful of wealthy residents lord over a nearly vanished middle class and a majority of people at or near the poverty line, that is a third world banana republic by any definition of the term.

Want a real comparison? Here: California and Venezuela. Look at the history of the latter especially everything since the installation of Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro. You are heading there at warp speed, and dragging us down with it.

And thank you too for the comment.
