Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | In The Country Of The Blind, The ONT Is KingHidely-ho Morons! Welcome to the Thursday ONT! Letter From A Moron As a doctor, here’s my message to anyone who thinks it’s OK to deny medical treatment to those unvaccinated against Covid That's by Moron, children's book author and doctor (listed in order of importance) R.M. Huffman. Boys, I think he's been compromised, it was published in RT! Comrade Huffman assures me that he is as much of a Yankee imperialist warmonger as always, and he says that his handler at RT assures him that it has received great acclaim from the exploited proletariat in Amerika, but I'm not so sure. Seriously, it's a good article, you should read it. Wiggly, Squiggly, Gold By The Basterfull! Anti-Vaxxers are Hoping to Make A Killing Off Their Sperm Does anyone remember a SNL skit from 1988 presidential campaign? Dana Carvey's George Bush is debating in catchphrases - “Not gonna do it. Thousand points of light” and Jon Lovitz's Dukakis' rebuttal is an amazed “I can't believe I'm losing to this guy”. I feel like the Dukakis character more and more these days. The way the progressive left and especially the media (birm) responds to the most blatant and obvious trolling attempts from the fevered autists at places like 4-chan. actually boggles my mind. No, there is not a black market for sperm from an unvaccinated man, and nobody outside of the bucktoothed swamps of southern Louisiana thinks that there is. No, women are not pissing their pants in support of I-forget-what-cause-now (that one may have come from the fevered autists of PornHub (but who am I to criticize? Let those of you with a free hand throw the first stone)). Both of these have been covered as actual “news” by real, live “journalists”. I swear to Og that all my life I always figured there would come a point at which common sense would break out, but every day my doubts increase. Breaking Point US troops’ rage at their leaders will grow unless there’s deep reform Someone once said that the left runs around wearing the hollowed out skins of institutions that it has killed, demanding the respect that those institutions earned before their demise. Many thought the military immune to such a thing, I doubt many think that anymore. Generally speaking, a nation where the civilian leadership fears its citizens and has lost the nation’s confidence, and where the senior military leadership has lost the confidence of those down the chain of command, is a nation in trouble. Elsewhere, such circumstances would supply the dry tinder for a military coup. Fortunately, the United States is a bit more resistant. With so much of our government, and even our domestic military force, divided up among the states, a coup is much harder to pull off. And with our institutions, weakened as they are, still comparatively strong, we aren’t likely to see a “Seven Days in May” scenario in the near future. But while unlikely, that scenario is now more likely than it used to be. And that’s because the people responsible for our great institutions, civilian and military, aren’t doing their jobs. In particular, they aren’t keeping faith with the people they are supposed to serve. So, question of the night: Many of you Morons proudly served in the armed forces of the United States. If your 18 year old child came to you and said that he or she was thinking of joining the military, would you encourage them, or discourage them? The Quigley Shoot The Matthew Quigley Buffalo Rifle Match, an annual event named after Tom Selleck's character in Quigley Down Under, which is a rather good 1990 western (hey, I said I didn't have much use for Hollywood movies. I never said I didn't enjoy a good one). Every year on Father's Day weekend, hundreds of people gather in Montana for a weekend of shooting 1870s era rifles and reproductions at targets out to 1200 yards. Has anyone here ever gone? It looks like it would be a hell of a lot of fun. Anyone know where I can get an 1874 Sharps for a good price? Related: This is neat. Wheee! Clickbait! At the present time I would have to discourage them. Too much racial division being preached from the top down is going to lead to infighting in the ranks. Among people who have access to firearms and edged weapons, this is more than just not a good thing. Posted by: Blanco Basura - moronhorde.com. RE: Young people joining the military...I have a couple of students in the military. They come from a long line of proud patriotic Americans, so I really don't want to dissuade them from serving honorably. However, the modern U.S. military senior leadership is undeserving of the respect and admiration of the men serving under them. Respect always goes both ways. Lose the respect of your men and you lose the authority of command.

Watched the Quigley shoot - man, the tee-pee help? Not fair!
Typically, in the military anyway, you shot by wrapping the sling around your forward aiming arm to steady yourself, and then were required to lay out in the prone position or was given the option of the one knee kneel - I took the one knee kneel because the prone position negated flex or movement to adjust to a minimum...and that is how we shot in the field at home. I'd love to do this competition though! When you get over 1000 yards its getting pretty fucking hard, given the number of adjustment shots you are allowed. Companies aren't being forced to impose vaccine mandates.
The government is giving cover for your company to do what it has always wanted to do, which is treat you like a serf and impose its will on you under the guise it is complying with the government. If your company gave a f*ck about you, they'd say "I'm not doing that to my employees, they have rights". But your company doesn't care about you. It f*cking hates you and thinks it owns you: And yet you will do as it says because your greatest fear is not being owned by your company. This is because you are weak and cowardly and demand comfort and security above freedom. And so you get what you deserve. Posted by: Bitter Clinger at September 09, 2021 09:58 PM (5We2S) 292

International Baccalaureate. Yes, I did get the diploma. I'm honestly more proud of that than I am of my BS or master's. The coursework for my higher degrees was of course harder in absolute terms, but it was much harder for a 17yo to put in the work to earn that diploma than it was for a 25yo to get the master's. I routinely had 30+ hours of homework each week on top of school and sports. Used to get up on Saturday and do homework from 9 am to 7 pm, then I got up on Sunday, started at 9, and generally finished by 5. College was a breeze compared to that.

I am so weary of the stupid. Let's recap. We have a government official telling us we can't hold jobs unless we get a vaccine that doesn't seem to prevent people getting the illness it is supposed to protect against. The reason? It endangers those who have already gotten it if we don't. There is no reliable information as to how dangerous the illness actually is, and numerous examples of the media flat out lying about indicators. The medical industry refuses many forms of treatment that seem to work, and instead works hard at convincing people that drugs that have been used for decades and have even gotten Nobel Prizes are extremely dangerous and lifethreatening. The government is alienating large numbers of potential voters by using anything they can get away with to force people. And yet most people seem to question nothing when what should be on everyone's mind is "how dangerous is this virus really?" and " why is the government so desperate for you to get a shot? What's in it? "

I think since Allen's death they have lost focus.
The Fw 190A-5 was a top notch full restoration. Very authentic with the BMW801 engine and flyable. They acquired Ed Maloney's Me 262 and spent the money and engineering to build the Jumo 004Bs with better materials but then instead of staying true to FE-4012 origins as a reconnaissance plane they made it just another fighter 262. Tonight EMS showed up and transported one of the young ladies a short ways down the road to be picked up by Lifebird air ambulance. One of my wife's coworkers husband ,an EMT, was on the call. The young lady, 14 or 15, had gotten the vaccine this morning. She went into respiratory failure tonight. Prognosis for her survival was grim. Pray for the young lady if so inclined.

I've lived in a few markets and actually listen to morning radio inasmuch as a) my alarm clock needs to do something to get me awake and b) radio jocks are probably more trusthworthy news sources than Big Media these days.
The reason why Howard Stern is so dominant is that, in most places, morning radio is an absolute dumpster fire. A farting baboon could probably have pushed out the local yokels with a syndicated program. Posted by: CppThis at September 09, 2021 11:21 PM (UewuT) 517

Had a very frustrating day today. Took on a job to replace brake pads and front brake hydraulic hoses on an '01 Chevy silverado 1500 4X4. How could it not be easy?
Well, the bolts that hold the caliper bracket to the steering knuckle were so damned tight that I had to put a scissors jack under the end of a breaker bar to break them free. Air impact wouldn't touch it. Ditto for the caliper slider pins; broke a Torx T55 bit trying to bust one free. Finally got it all disassembled; decided to buy new caliper slide pins. NAPA gave me the wrong ones. I discovered that inboard brake pads were different left to right, and differed from the outboard pads. If they dumb fucks at GM had ground about .040" off the caliper bridge, they could have used all outboard pads, on both sides, and reduced their parts stocking requirement by 2/3. Idiots. And the brake hydraulic hose was weirdly complicated, too. GM must have gotten into some bad drugs after they built the '99 models. "You buy furniture. You tell yourself, this is the last sofa I will ever need in my life. Buy the sofa, then for a couple years you're satisfied that no matter what goes wrong, at least you've got your sofa issue handled. Then the right set of dishes. Then the perfect bed. The drapes. "409 I think making you wear the mask is the real point, and in far too many cases making people WANT to wear the mask even when they don't need to. That's what it's all about.
Posted by: Caesar North of the Rubicon at September 09, 2021 10:35 PM (BMmaB)" No, the point of the mask mandates was twofold: Lighting rod - people spent a year and a half bitching about silly face coverings rather than focusing on important shit, especially when conned into repeating retarded talking points planted by shills. Visible indicator of noncompliance/othering - like the hijab, but without serving an overt real purpose; the point isn't that they want compliance, it's that they're issuing an order they KNOW their opponents won't follow, which will then skyline them. Bonus: cover for rioters. The proper initial move was to stake out ownership of "wear masks" first - Fauci dissuaded PDT from this with supply chain excuses. Failing the initiative, proper countermeasure is to demand n+1: "wear a mask and googles!" Go harder. In either case, the Dems would have banned mask wearing in short order. Regarding second person writing: Years ago I noticed Linkin Park songs have a lot of it. Some of it is "YOU make me feel this way," other parts are listing aggravating behavior of a second person, and a ton of blurring between the concept of one's self and others. I have no idea how much of it stemmed from Chester's addiction, but that guy definitely didn't just have a few demons.... he had a whole host of them, and lost his battle against them in the end.

Something else important, I will add here. The CDC has, of Sept 1, redefined the term "vaccine". See Berenson here, on this point:
https://tinyurl.com/57em9b54 Previously the definition of vaccine, was as follows: "a product that stimulates a person's immune system to produce immunity to a specific disease." The new definition is thus: "a preparation that is used to stimulate the body's immune response against diseases." Do you see the key difference? Merriam-Webster has followed suit. As of Jan 2021, they used the old definition. Now, they use the new one. The OED, however, continues to use the old one. We are being gas-lit on a mass-scale, folks. I remember reading something about smokers way, WAY back at the beginning of all of this mess. Back before the lockdowns IIRC.
And then *poof*, it was gone. No one ever discussed it again. Posted by: Moron Robbie Yup, me too. You think the medical establishment wants to hear anything POSITIVE about smoking? No way. I did a search on it the other day and came up with the link above. Posted by: Miley, the Duchess, #SuperStraight #EnemyOfTheState (Mzdiz) at September 10, 2021 04:05 AM (Mzdiz) 689
Moron Robbien I've appreciated all of your links and insights also.
Got to rush out of here now as I overslept again this morning. (Need to stop doing that!) See you all later from the house of crazy. Posted by: My Life is Insanity at September 10, 2021 04:21 AM (DHtun) 690
To answer your question about encouraging or discouraging a child from enlisting: In 2016, my youngest son wanted to enlist upon graduating from high school. I, his mother, and his two older brothers (both of whom had served) tried to talk him out of it, on the grounds that his life would be a plaything for C-in-C Hillary. He went ahead and enlisted anyway, and, thank God!, C-in-C Hillary never happened. But nowadays? With a military hierarchy deeply corrupted, and a commander-in-chief who is stupid, senile, and given to fits of rage, and a cabinet filled with spineless yes-men? No. No. No. Absolutely not. No. Never.

"Imagine being a writing teacher and not knowing the word "ebbed"."
My name is Geoffrey, ya know, like Chaucer. My sophomore year of high school, the honors English teacher couldn't pronounce my name. For months. Posted by: Geoff at September 10, 2021 09:32 AM (XZJqV) 692
I discouraged my Grandson's, but found out they had already been discouraged. They told me Paw Paw the military is gay, and has nothing to gain and everything to lose by joining.
One even brought up the recent Afghanistan event which his father fought in as an example of the waste of time, effort and possible death and maiming for nothing. I admit after Vietnam I said much the same to my son, who went in anyway, yet took training that he could transfer into a civilian life job. How he feels about his son's going in is unknown, seeing what he spent time there for may have tempered his views. Posted by: obsidian at September 10, 2021 10:11 AM (apGdV) 693
