89 It is interesting to me how the coffin, sitting off to the side brings the story of the painting into focus. Without it, you've got two people and a dog resting, from who knows what.

I believe that "good" art is partially determined by how well the medium conveys the meaning. I've gone to art shows where a piece was accompanied by a page long explanation. To my mind that is not good art. This needs no explanation. I like it, though I would not hang it.

They want those boosters so badly, and the pass to go with them.

Meanwhile, as some have cried before, "they are killing people"; only this time it's Joe Biden throwing the death panels around down south.

He's blocked antibody treatments. Even though Florida, Alabama meet objective criteria for requested doses, and there are adequate dose to distribute, Biden has declined the favor of sparing illness and facility crowding and overworked ICU nurses because those fing antibodies work too fing well, and were ruining everything.

He's literally decided to murder people now.

136 For those at the end of the prior thread wondering what a "spun testicle" was, there IS a code for that.

ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Code N44.00
Torsion of testis, unspecified

WARNING: Do not continue reading if you own one or more testicles and are squeamish.

Testicular torsion is the twisting of one or more testicles around it's stalk, which contains arterial and venous blood vessels and the spermatic duct. The resultant blockage of blood supply leads to excruciating pain, swelling and eventually (if not treated promptly) necrosis or tissue death of the involved testicle. A true medical emergency.

"As a result of Galician poverty, Galician peasants were too malnourished to work properly, and had little immunity to diseases such as cholera, typhus, smallpox and syphilis. Stauter-Halsted describes a vicious circle in which Galician peasants worked "lethargically because [they were] inadequately nourished and [not living] better because [they] work too little." Frank quotes Szepanowski: "every resident of Galicia does one-quarter of a man's work and eats one-half of a man's food." The almost persistent famines in Galicia, resulting in 50,000 deaths a year, have been described as endemic. Many peasants were heavily in debt and had lost their land to the money-lenders. Most of those were Jewish, which led to resentment and growing anti-Semitism."

They are using this moment for a power grab, I agree, but it's all about money. Pharma is making a killing off this. As is Amazon. As is Big Tech and the media. As are the hospitals.

211 There can be no reasonable justification for flouting objective rules about mAb therapy and prophylaxix.

The huge f-ing irony is it works better, lasts longer and is less toxic and spares more serious adverse advents compared to the current crop of vaccines.

He wants hospitals to say "oh, only these serious or high risk breakthrough cases can have it" - not that it isn't already being used for that purpose.

There is enough to go around, so it's just trying to increase suffering to keep a narrative going.

Getting people to vaccinate for vaccinations sake is not supposed to be the point. Sparing spread, risk, disease, hospital beds, the works is the only justification for any of the government interventions in delivery of care or modality of care.

I know people who would actively cheer the death of peoplw who could be spared by prophylaxis or early treatment, as if this happening without vaccination is not only a bad thing but an outrage.

So then, when we do X, we just do it to you guys *first*. And because our brainwashed constituents have been inculcated with hatred of you as their highest value, they'll full-throatedly support the X-action as the Right Thing To Do.

By the time we do it to them, they've already morally justified their own persecution, and won't back down from that position. It works every time.

358 Ran my last run of licker last week, to finish out the sugar stockpile, and I'm now sitting on two full buckets of 180 proof. 20 gallons if its proofed down to 90. I just did it for the hell of it as I don't drink, but I wonder how many people that would get drunk.

359 >>>NA brews are a good thing for me... after I got sober, there was a long period where I just had to miss the taste of brew... the NA's let me enjoy that again... I tried an NA wine... not a felicitous experience...

Yep. When I went in a 15 year hiatus, I told my doc I missed the taste of black and tans, she looked at me like, "Sure. It's the 'taste' you miss"

368 "China is not an enemy"
==
that statement is an par with a biologic man now claiming to be a woman

it is magical thinking, a desire to impose your own fantasy upon reality. Its not something that is healthy for your testicles, or those of your Country.

Not for long. It seems china was getting too westernized and it was destabilizing the government. Xi is cracking down. I think tbe money will dry up.

372 Living poor is not always a choice. I will never understand why people choose to live in squalor. Your baby daddy works a minimum wage job. You are on welfare. Why does that stop you from cleaning up the dog shit from the floor? Why does that stop you from cleaning the piles of trash in the kitchen? Why do you find it acceptable to have cockroaches and fleas by the thousands crawling all over you.

My dad always said you are never too poor to clean your yard.
