CNN Spent Most of the Summer Below One Million Viewers
[N]one of the major headlines were enough to salvage CNN's dwindling viewership. Over the course of 92 days, CNN failed to reach 1 million viewers on 53 of them, roughly 58% of the summer, according to Nielsen data. The network averaged just 603,000 in total day viewership, a staggering 42% decrease from Summer 2020. At one point this summer, CNN suffered a 13-day stretch without ever reaching 1 million viewers throughout the entire day from July 28 through August 9. The breaking news of Cuomo's announced resignation broke the network's streak of six-digit viewership on August 10. "Tucker Carlson Tonight" averaged 3.1 mil viewers and "All In with Chris Hayes" averaged 1.3 mil. "Don Lemon Tonight" suffered the most in primetime, averaging a crushing 751,000 viewers, a 54% drop from his 1.6 mil average last summer. Lemon reached 1 mil viewers just **three times** this entire summer in his normal timeslot following a relaunch/publicity stunt in May.

Yup. I am just tuning into youtube, really for the first time. So my choice is to listen to some guy/girl talking about one of my hobbies, one of my loves? Or showing me how to do X thing properly? Using tricks he has accumulated through a lifetime of doing X.
Versus whatever Fox or CNN or whatever think I should be thinking about? With a bunch of commercials etc. Easy decision.
Video is not as efficient as reading. So that tempers my enthusiasm a bit. I appreciate people who get to their point quickly.

Doesn't a religious exemption acknowledge freedom of conscience. (Albeit, limited to the that one narrow situation.)
And once that is acknowledged and allowed, how is it rational to deny that right to anyone regardless of what their conscience directs. If a JW or Christian Scientist is directed not to have a vaccine because it is against their interpretation of the bible, how is that more valid than my individual brain directing me not to have the vaccine because it is against my interpretation of risk and reward? They have the bible, but I am sure I can produce dozens of books in regards to statistics which support my decision.
This is different from certain drugs, where religions have an exemption, I think, because to allow people to do whatever they want based on conscience would make any prohibitive laws moot. It is more akin to conscientious objector status during war and that is open to any and all who claim it.
Just asking/saying.

One thing that's interesting about youtoobers is when they basically implode. One guy I follow for guitar amp repair is REALLY good on the bench, but always opinionated. So when the video went up about a year or so ago saying that his wife left him, I wasn't surprised.
