Pet peeves.

I'll start:

Jackasses who have no real skill but send Very Important Emails asking for status updates and copy everyone to show how important they think they are being.

The nice thing about consulting and being my own boss is that I can respond to all and tell said jackass to ask his or her boss to fill them in on what they don't know.

While I wish I was making more, I don't miss stupid e-mails or thinking about how to respond to stupid e-mails.

My annoying customer was someone who placed a request then, when I had done it and sent the results, whined that that wasn't what she wanted because I didn't include things she never told me about to begin with.

Before I retired, my boss would send me an email asking me a question about the schedule. I would respond. Then another question. I would respond. Then...so on and so on. Her office was 2 offices from mine. I would finally get up and go to her office to answer any and all questions. Took maybe 3 minutes.

Next day....email question from the boss....

It's unpatriotic. He and Biden's friends let this happen. Hell, even SCOAMF hinted more of a warning than McConnell did.

107 A group of 169 Americans were airlifted from a hotel outside the Kabul airport on Thursday, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby confirmed to reporters Friday, one of a very limited number of actions that U.S. troops have undertaken outside of the Hamid Karzai International Airport walls since a contingent of 6,000 began deploying last week.

President Joe Biden first spoke of the mission during an address on Friday, in which he described military assets bringing Americans over the wall of the airport.

the original plan was for the Americans to gather themselves up at the Baron [Hotel] and walk through the Abbey gate. The gate is right here. So you can see from the hotel to the gate, Kirby said. but there was a large crowd established outside the Abbey gate a crowd, that, that not everybody had confidence in, in terms of their ability to walk through it. And so, local commanders on the scene took the initiative and flew these helicopters out there to pick them up.

Hum? I hope the local commander used the right pronouns. Ah they will probably bring the hero local COmmander up on charges any day now.

148 Batteries need constant monitoring and careful charging, not too much, not too little for maximum performance and longetivity. I doubt the lithium type exhibit sulfation as the old school lead-acid, but "consumers" aren't mindful of that kind of thing generally. They want to drive it, not be charging it all the time. With lead-acids, they quickly get permanent sulfation and a permanent reduction in capacity. That's why those battery tenders help so much with infrequently used equipment. High temperatures (and vibration) are actually what damages lead acid type batteires, cold temperatures just expose the problems.

184 Good morning, horde.

Recovering lurker here. I'm currently trying to process the fact that the America I grew up in is, in pretty stark language, no more. It has been relegated to a pleasant memory I think of to draw comfort from, like my grandmother's cooking. Everyone was better back then; even the Democrats of old wouldn't have stood idly by and let what is now happening happen.

I do not know if this change was consciously sought after. I don't know if those that would have us live this way thought that the world would be somehow better. What I do know is that the effort required to make things right is now beyond simply voting wisely; this all goes beyond the scope of government. These are matters of the heart, of culture, of spiritual degradation. This will require prayer to set things right. If you think prayer is simply a child bowing his head in obedience and mouthing a trite little poem, you're sadly mistaken. It is warfare.

Wow, this is some REALLY good coffee to help me think this clearly. How you doin?

These "vaccines" are very leaky. And they target just a single spike epitope, and of the "Wuhan classic" virus, which doesn't even exist anymore. The virus has mutated and selected to something totally different.

Oh, coronaviruses mutate like crazy. This was known for years. The circulating virus has done a little mutational side step around the vaccines. Child's play for it.

Leaky vaccines are driving such vaccine resistance and escape.

That's a pretty bleak and scary speech that guy made there. Well, we're all going to find out if he's right. He gives the timetable of a "few months to 3-5 years" for the true fallout to be known. I pray he's wrong, but something very bad is going on with this aggressive push for vaccinations that aren't true vaccinations, imo.

Incidentally, he's not the only doctor saying this stuff. Others are sounding the alarm bells, but you have to go onto BitChute type places to find them. Can't have the public knowing anything.

Tucker had a segment on the "training" of the "afghan army". Nothing but but funneling money to defense contractors. Worthless. He had clips of our troops trying to train those guys. They were 90% illiterate. Couldn't and wouldn't follow basic instruction. 75% or better were high on opium.

There was a video of them trying to do jumping jacks. Looked like spastic retards -- couldn't get in sync.

All the data on how bad they were doing was kept secret (you see the contractors were private, not public -- proprietary data you see. Industrial secrets).

Whole thing was a joke. Nothing but funneling money to a bunch of corrupt contractors.

Not saying you should hate him, but he's not a victim. The guy has been monetizing the f#$% out of his time in office his entire career - that's what Hunter facilitated. He not only sold his country out to the highest foreign bidders, his loose lips after the Bin Laden raid got a coupld dozen SEALs killed when their helicopter was shot down. And then theres the creepy touchy stuff.

He was ushered into office *because* he is corrupt - his family and clients want to keep the grift going. They certainly didn;t do it out of love. He is getting exactly what he deserves - he use dhis country, now his handlers are using him. Karma.

There are no live attenuated virus vaccines. Unless the Chicoms actually have something effective they've been keeping secret or something.

Want an actual sterilizing vaccine against 'Rona? You're gonna have to do one of them attenuated virus vaccines. Only problem is that takes years to do right, and probably won't make it.

346 Biden leaves for his home in Delaware this morning. Nothing going on in DC that needs his attention before Monday or Tuesday. Nothing like a rest in his own bed for a few days.

I never understood why any President was supposed to be "working" around the clock on whatever crisis was presented that day.

Isn't that what the tens of thousands of bureaucrats, contractors and subject matter experts are lavishly paid to provide? And if the crisis has any of its origins in the presidency do you want a politician to be involved? The arsonist to be managing the fire?

The world is too far complex for "The President" to be involved - except when there is supposed to be a signature attached, and I expect that is exactly why Biden is sitting on the post. Having Xi Jinping or any of the Davos people's signature on an EO wouldn't (for now) fly we still need to fake legitimacy by auto-signing the fraud's signature on Buck Stops Here documents.

There is an outfit actually working on such a live, attenuated virus vaccine for Covid. It will be a nasal spray. It used "junk codons" to attenuate the virus.

Problem with that is there's a chance the virus can un-attenuate itself. Takes a while to makes sure it can't. Testing, waiting.

That's the only way to get to sterilizing vaccines.

356 I never understood why any President was supposed to be "working" around the clock on whatever crisis was presented that day.

For that matter, does the President actually have to operate from D.C.? I get it, the seat of power and all that, but it'd be a good way to shed some of the bullshit by NOT residing fulltime at the White House. Operate from some undisclosed location in Texas with minimal staff. Don't fill 75 percent of the appointment slots and fire the rest. No access unless you're "on the list."

Like they do in North Korea. Only with better food.

408 We had a few self important goobers with Very Impressive Email Signatures who were keeping everyone in the loop about their uselessness.

That triggered an avalanche of mockery where the sane people built themselves absurd email signatures and belched out mountains of Important Sounding Email announcements.
Fer instance, one guy sent a mass email announcing that he would be out of the office from Friday at 5 until Monday at 8 AM to attend a Velocity Conference.
He was going to the stock car races on Saturday and Sunday.

Which reminds me... Why the hell does this website post all those damn links to twitter?

Sure, there are some where there's valid info, but all those Steve Inman (amusing, I agree) links are just money (and power) in the pocket of that left wing ZZ Top wannabe.

You're proving the truth of the famous Lenin quote about selling rope.
