If I was going to recreate a feudal society I would first destabilize and then ban the most abundant and reliable energy source and replace it with an energy source that is insufficient and unreliable, all in the name of saving the planet. This would create a never ending, self fulfilling crisis that would justify banning private transportation. This would have the effect of pinning the population in place and make it impossible for it to coordinate an effective resistance. With that in place I would ratchet up the pressure by creating food shortages, medical shortages, shortages of shortages all while running a full on propaganda and police state. If this sounds a bit like North Korea or the outcome of the Green New Deal I wouldn't disagree.

As I've said here before, it's called the dementia shuffle. One of the very earliest signs of dementia is loss of balance. The neurologist used to test my mother on a little pad how long she could just stand upright and still.
Their gate is stiff and unnatural, oddly flat-footed. Strange, rigid upright stance. Arms just sort of dangle at their sides. He can't turn his head, instead rotating his shoulders. They also tend to focus on the ground or their feet, almost like they've got blinders on. Joe will be forced to use a walker soon, and I wouldn't be surprised if he's in a wheelchair most of the evenings. Like I said, I'm convinced they're sedating him most of the time as well. Probably a whole lot in the evenings when sundowners kicks in.

Tramadol and percs never helped me, either.
I got desperate and attacked my lower back vigorous massage and electric muscle stimulation. The "deep tissue" massage works for me. But it's hard to massage your own back, and neck.

And this is true, each one is a unique language that has no language group, even each other.
By the way, Japanese is a solitary language.
and Korean actually has a number of northern dialects that are considered minority languages in Southern China.

At the end of the day I thank God for taking one set of homonids and breathing human cognition into them.

I took the GP for about five years after I quit drinking to get rid of my PTSD phantom pain.
Mom opened my back up twice with a coat hanger in my youth, and if I had an attack at night I would wake up in terror with the pain.

God saved me as well, I figure He had a hand in the rise of pharmacology.
I quit the booze I used prior to the birth of my child and the pain came back.
Prayer, the love of my family, psychological counseling, and laying down the burden of hyper-vigilance probably saved my life.

Basically, one of the linguistic groups that came down out of Siberia into the coastal region split in two, with one part moving over to Sakhalin Island and down into Japan to become the ancestors of the Ainu, and the other one moving down into Korea, who entered the ethnic mix there before some of them moved on into Southern Japan where they brought a lot of the East Asian Cultural Complex with them and helped create what became historical Japan.

There is a modification of the "homonids ALL came from Africa" theorem that says there is ample evidence of breeding between sapiens and other proto homonids.
The prevailing opinion along those lines is there were existing homonids in Eurasia who were hunted and bred into homo sapiens.

The Piltdown Man fraud wasn't really about race, more nationalism and stubborn hold on a preconceived theory. English Scientists were pissed that Germany had a prehistoric human (Nieanderthals) and the French had one (CroMagnon). The main issue with Peking Man was that it showed that it evolved the "wrong" way - everyone thought that brain size should have developed first before standing erect and using tools, rather than the reverse like Peking man. So they figured it was a failed sideline and not relevant. So someone salted a pit in England with bones that showed just what everyone expected to see and it took a generation for everyone to admit the fraud.
