Breaking: NY State AG Report Into Andrew Cuomo's Sexual Harassment Released; Says That Cuomo's Pattern of Sexual Harassment Violated Federal Law

I suppose that must mean:

1, the evidence is incontrovertible, or

2, Democrats have just decided that Cuomo is a weak candidate for reelection and its time to purge him, or

3, both 1 and 2 in an unspecified ratio.

Reagan McCarthy at Townhall:

New York Attorney General Letitia James addressed the sexual harassment scandal surrounding Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY). James said that the investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct made against Cuomo constitute sexual harassment in the workplace, a violation of state and federal law.
"Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and in doing so violated federal and state law," James said.
James noted that the 4-month probe confirmed that Cuomo "engaged in unwanted and inappropriate groping, kissing, hugging, and comments that accusers called 'deeply humiliating, uncomfortable, offensive, or inappropriate.'" The officials also noted that Cuomo created a "toxic work environment" and "climate of fear." The report from the investigators also found that "the governor and his senior team took actions to relate against at least one former employee for coming forward" with allegations of sexual harassment in the workplace.

A friend and I had a discussion on variant of this point just yesterday. The only reason that the Democrats have even the smallest amount of political viability is because of abortion. We know that they are un-American and anti-Semitic at the leadership core, and by all rights they should be a rump party, and not the one with all the levers of power right now. Abortion gives them the 40% floor that they will always use to build on.

C19 mortality is notably concentrated in the elderly, even more than regular influenza. Just not sure how one could come up with a reasonable estimate of the deaths that would probably not have occurred if + elderly were not admitted into nursing homes.

The move violated obvious common sense, and CDC guidelines, which is sufficient for outrage - and in NY's case, the truly Soviet-bloc moves of denying the whole thing and removing the directive from the state website (and having a groveling "press" barely make anything at all out of it) are jaw-dropping misbehavior. (The mentally ill PA health director's move of his own mother out of a facility as the +s were put in was beyond jaw-dropping).

It's quite academic, in a country with a populace and institutions as hollowed out and dumbed down as they are, but just for old times' sake, it's nice to actually use reasonable calculations to assess the depredations of these idiots.

Also check TracFone. they seem to offer decent smartphones for $35, and unlimited plans about the same. What impressed me is their customer service. Verizon gets nowhere near. I bought a phone for my ex FiL in hospice, and my ex MiL was so impressed she wanted a second one just to have for family. I talked with customer service several times, to change plans and to change billing account, and they answered and were on it immediately. Very nice.

I set up a Ting SIM card for our alarm system at the last company. Worked fine for years. When we moved and changed alarm systems, Ting made it DAMNED difficult to cancel the service. Wouldn't let me cancel online, had to call in to talk to a rep, and of course I kept getting the runaround. Might have just been my situation, but it's worth keeping in mind.

I was still trying to work it out when the old company laid me off in a particularly dickish way about a month before the Chi-Nah Lung AIDS thing started, so I just let it go. I figure they're still paying for the SIM card. Heh.

It is actually quite common for them to carry out political hits on their intra party rivals especially when solidarity is not needed to combat the common foe--Republicans. As Machiavelli put it, good public opinion is well and good but it is better to be feared than loved. Only problem is is that Macron hasn't taken it back.

Watch the protests will peter out after another month and it'll be situation normal with vax and mask mandates. And they'll be here next.

The reason is because so many got the vax and are thinking it's the unvaxxed fault that they still have to wear masks. And that's because that's how the media is framing it. And the CDC.

A look at the actual statistics shows that the delta variant and the increased infectiousness is the fault of the vax. Just as it is happening in Israel and India.
