Obviously support for the sham investigation into the non-riot of January 6th is driven by politics. Any chance the Democrat-Media complex gets to stick a knife (preferably in the back) into President Trump and his supporters is too tempting to resist.
But the cringe-worthy tear-fest that the Democrats orchestrated turned off even some of their reliable supporters, as America saw that the proceedings were going to be long on emotion and very short on facts. Poll Reveals Jan 6 Committee Cry Babies Undermined Support for Their Own 'Investigation'.Support for the House probe has been steadily declining among voters affiliated with all political parties. In June, the poll registered 66 percent support for the Jan. 6 investigation. Last week support fell to 58 percent. After the Capitol Police testimony of this past week, support amongst American voters fell to 53 percent.The politics is a given, but the mandarins in Washington who live in an all-encompassing bubble of high security, compliant media, toadying lobbyists, the best tables at the best restaurants at the snap of a finger and hundreds of other perks that they have come to believe is some sort of twisted "droit du seigneur," were shocked to discover that their enclaves were not safe from the people who actually own them! And that made them afraid. Thus the ridiculous over-reaction of the Democrat hierarchy to what could have been considered a silly populist gesture and downplayed for political gain. But it got out of hand, with more people than expected, and their comfortable and safe cocoons were revealed to be closer to the great unwashed than they thought. And they can't have mere citizens anywhere near their great halls of power! Because it was a stark reminder of the origins of this country.

The Battle of Trenton: We'll cross an icy river and kill you in your sleep. On Christmas! Perhaps America has lost the spirit that animated its founders, but the January 6th protest was a hint of may still live in our hearts. And that scared the cowards of our government into embarrassing flights of rhetoric about how genuinely terrifying the events were...not because of the reality, but because it pulled back the curtain that they have to protect them from the real America. It was a significant tactical error to focus on the fear and impotence and incompetence on very public display. Whether it becomes a strategic error remains to be seen, but America has seen what buffoons we have in positions of authority in our nation's capitol, and they aren't terribly impressed.

You can't post stories about how Mr Pedo landed his 10th little girl while police did nothing, and not expect readers to comment that extra-legal measures may necessary to prevent more 12-year-old victims. Unless your real motive is simply to draw eyeballs to advertisers.

I've wondered for years how so many supposedly staunchly conservative supporters of the Constitution and American republicanism can constantly rail against the evils of the Democrats and the Left, yet the beginning of every monolog, every heart-felt soliloquy starts off with something to the effect of "Don't get me wrong, January 6th was a horrible event..." They will be the first to slink into the nearest dark corner when things really start to pop. Like Thomas Paine, there's plenty of brave rhetoric until that first whiff of grapeshot. They defend the deeply corrupt rank-and-file of deeply corrupt institutions while exhorting their listeners to "take a stand" or whatever. And at the merest hint of concerted action...nothing but a cloud of white feathers. Hard to take them seriously. Well, we should be taking a stand, and things are rapidly getting beyond redemption. Just don't expect much help, I guess.

I think most of the congresscritters are actually clueless about what really happened on January 6th. They were probably briefed later on and told that they came "this close" to getting the guillotine by the rabid Trump mob that "stormed" the Capitol.

I agree with a common sentiment above: we have no or minuscule support among "our" elected officials or the commontariat. There are rare exceptions such as Julie Kelley and Rand Paul, so few in number they are noticed. My main beef with Trump at this point is he didn't put the GOP down for good while he could.
The next time some cuckservative bloviates about "fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over there" remind them they didn't fight them over here while th3 United States became the Evil Empire II.

I bought a meal sealer and the attachments to vacuum seal jars. I also have a pressure canner. Buy and learn to use both. (Dehydrators are good too.) You can put up meat and butter. Go for the stuff that is likely to be in short supply soon.

Why? He had allowed his 5 Doctor practice to be bought out by a Corporation, who was now telling HIM how he should practice medicine.

I think part of the problem is that we don't activist class. We just want to be left alone. When the war is "over" we retreat back into back in our privates lives to focus on career and family.

The fact that they need booster shots is further evidence of this ... that is where the virus adapts to the vaccine. (I'm guessing it is like with grapes, you don't use the same fungicide repeatedly or the fungi become resistant, and use the full dosage, or it is breeding resistance)

And much of the administration directed practice of medicine is a result of complying with dictates of medicare. CMS bureaucrat doesn't want you putting a foley catheter in little old lady with a broken hip, they say they will not pay for any treatment related to a catheter associated UTI. They think doctors order too many CT scans, stop paying for them except for specific indications CMS approves. Your medical training suggests a ct scan may be valuable for this patient? Fine, do it, but we are not paying.

Debora Lynn Burnett lives in northern Colorado near Steamboat Springs, which has a small community hospital (Yampa Valley Medical Center) that is affiliated with the University of Colorado health system.
She has an active Veterinary license and an active Physical Therapist license. It is possible that she works at the hospital in her role as a physical therapist, but if it is in Steamboat Springs, that is a small hospital with limited ICU capability.

I can say EPIC EMR has made my job as an emergency physician easier. I can skim all of the patients recent clinic visits, medications, and labs and have a pretty good picture of their history before I walk in the room.

I am appalled, disgusted and, generally, beyond incensed that the r Senator from ND, Cramer, called Ashli Babbitt a "criminal," deserving to be killed. In 2018 (latest numbers I found), only 4 unarmed women were shot/killed by LEO. In every instance some sort of major extenuating circumstance occurred. IOW, in a country of 330 Million, shooting and killing an unarmed woman is an extreme anomaly. Yet that despicable piece of excrement believes her murder to be praise-worthy. Imagine the events of harassment that LEO face daily, yet, they manage to control the situation without death. I can't hate these horrible, horrible people enough. The thing is that the medical software should be doing a lot more. On a drug that causes possible health issues, like prednisone? It should flag that a bone density scan is in order. On meds that may not interact well together? Software flags a warning.
